I mentioned that we were referred by another dental office, but it seemed to be completely disregarded. When my daughter's name was finally called about 20 minutes later, the dental assistant, Lisset, walked ahead of us without any greeting or introduction, she just pointed to a chair and told my daughter to sit down, which felt very cold and impersonal. During the appointment, there was awkward silence as Lisset was focused on the computer and didn't engage with us. I informed her that previous x-rays and pictures had already been sent over as she rolled her eyes and asked if I had let the front desk know. I told her that I had informed them but again was disregarded, the doctor came in and insisted on new ones. Lisset was getting ready to take new x-rays, Lisset abruptly told me to leave without any courtesy or explanation. Just said "Get out" pointing her finger at the wall. When I tried to ask if I had done something wrong, she ignored me. As I was leaving, I noticed the dental assistants gathered in a room, slouched in chairs and on their phones, which gave off an unprofessional vibe. I also had to ask for Lisset's name at the front desk as I was leaving. Overall, the lack of communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy made this a very unpleasant visit. I will not be returning and have requested a referral elsewhere.

When I had some toothache, I saw 2 other dentists and they were quick to tell me to pull my teeth and charge over 1k. Dr. Amir didn't do that. He checked my teeth and discovered 12 small cavities. Based on the x-rays, he said I could just have them filled in and he charged only several hundred (with insurance). I was skeptical that it worked, but after the one month recovery, my teeth felt great and everything was back to normal. My teeth feel great now, a year later. I am still considering pulling my wisdom, but he says I don't have to do that until they hurt. He doesn't rush me into anything and gives me the options so I can save money, while having healthy teeth! He stands by his work and will not do anything that won't leave you satisfied or his reputation in doubt. My nephew had a chipped tooth and I recommended Dr. Amir first.
