You botched my daughters hair cut your trying to say the photos my wife showed was a wolf cut with bangs above her eyebrows that is extremely untrue we would never let anyone cut her bangs this way you are trying to say this is what was asked for and that is a lie. I really didnt want to leave this review bc of how uncomfortable it makes me but i am sharing this bc it would be unfair if i didnt. I had to go to another salon to correct the mistakes that were made here. It was a disaster, i had so much anxiety here. This happened a few months ago It was "happy" who did my hair (she does eye brow threading here too). I asked for my outgrown blonde hair to be dyed brown and with pink highlights. I had a picture + was very clear ab what i wanted on the phone and in the consultation. I left with orangey brown hair and orange streaks at the front of my hair + brighg orange on top the pink highlights which only became more noticeable with time . I dont think she knew what she was doing and the other stylists salon were pretty worried for the mistakes she made on my hair. if you dont know how to get what the client wants you should say that straight up. Idk if she was licensed bc she honestly didnt seem to know how to correct the mistakes and had to get hair tools out of her vehicle. It was super badly done and ive felt so insecure about my hair since, i had to go to another salon to color correct the mistakes that she created + couldnt fix. She told me i could pay what i wanted for the service but i think they shouldve paid me for the damages ,as i had to go somewhere else to fix it (which the hair was possible to fix, just the stylist "happy" didnt know how ). Also there was multiple clients she saw while my hair was being dyed and it honestly felt like it was burning so much while i waited for her to come back and check on it. I came for a retouch of my highlights and asked "julio" if he knew color and how to do blonde highlights, he said yes! I should've known better. He has no idea about color and put dark color on my roots and removed all the highlights I already had! I asked him over and over if he knew what he was doing, if he knew I wanted light blonde highlights and he kept saying "definitely!" Well, I came out with dark hair and No blonde highlights! Spur of the moment cut. I called ahead to make sure they could fit in a cut for my four year old daughter and myself and when we got there she immediately started working on us. Didn't bother to clean the man's hair who was before us, so not only was there hair but gross looking thick globs and we were the only ones there and she definitely had plenty of time. A wash and blowout was not offered. Ok. My daughters cut didn't turn out as I requested but I had no photo for reference, ok. My turn. There was no small talk, how are you, a smile etc. if no talk means more focus on my hair, great. I shower a photo of exactly how I wanted the front and back and she looked twice and still didn't come close. I was asked to describe something I didn't know how to. She also kept asking me are you sure you want to cut your hair? All of it? You want it that short? Once was enough. I had her adjust the length three times. The picture I presented had a whole fringe and when she was done I had to ask her to create bangs. I felt as if she didn't want to cut it, and then made me go over every step. I shouldn't be questioned like that, especially when we're not talking to start with. I do understand sometimes people ask for something and then get upset so I did make sure to clarify I wouldn't cry if she cut my hair short that's what I'm asking for. My daughters hair is fine but bc how now rounded, it looks like Dora. Mine is not what I asked at all but I'll live. Our cuts were $50 and apparently childrens are the same price. ( which I think is crazy bc my kids hair is not even half the work mine was) Bottom line is that they aren't horrible but definitely I wouldn't stop by again. The place down the road is $18 and not half bad! Customer service is huge, I'd go back just if they were nice. I'd go back if they were rude and cut my hair good. Don't waste your time. This salon deserves 0 stars not even a 1 star ! I called ahead of time n asked the receptionist if they would work with hair extensions and they said yes . All I wanted was my hair washed (shampoo and conditioning) and flat iron . Very simple. The hairdresser name (Kassandra) who decided to work on my hair, she didn't even know how to wash a hair in first place . She was shampooing my hair on the front n wanted to continue with the conditioner right away, and I mentioned her how she forgot to wash the back side and the side of my hair . Like I had to lecture her on how to wash a hair correctly. She was conditioning my hair on the bottom length only not the whole hair . Then she didn't even completely blow dry my hair n started ironing with wet hair ! So unprofessional especially how she left me for another client n had another lady work on my hair . If you couldn't finish with my hair don't get me in first place . Not her or the other lady completely iron my hair n left my hair wavey and also I feel my hair is itchy n sticky . She did a very poorly job ! Would not go back to this salon nor to "Kassandra" ... and also Kassandra is working very slow . The worst experience at a salon i've ever had. The service was horrible, my hair stylist Maria Sanchez was on the phone, while doing my hair. I was left unattended most of the time. Not to mention the stylist was careless and lazy in her work and did a horrible job especially for the amount of money i paid (140). My first time was great for a quick walk in trim for my short hair that's trying to grow out. Next trip 8 weeks later with someone else and my hair is horrible. It's choppy all around, not what I asked for, and then the lady tells me it's what I said when I said I don't like it. She told me it was too short to fix. My daughter with long hair gets her hair trimmed and layered except only one side is chopped with uneven layers. I could've cut it bettet myself! Still had to pay for two horrible trims. Love going to Encore Salon and love Monique. If you go ask for her she's AMAZING!!!!!!!!She's been doing my hair for years. She does a terrific job and knows what she's doing. I wanted to go blonde but didn't think I was going to like it. So she suggested we do it slowly going lighter every time I go in. I love how it looks and so glad she was so patient with me. I was afraid of it damaging my hair but I didn't have to because my hair always feels soft and healthy. Encore is amazing and Monique is the best.
