I usually dread the whole experience of waiting at a pharmacy, hearing about the ridiculous costs of meds then getting sub- par service. BUT then I was referred by my doctor to Encore Pharmacy!! It's very modern and clean. The service is hands down better than any chain like Rite Aid or CVS. AND... Encore saved me a ton of money over those chains! It does pay to listen to your doctor and there's a huge difference in service from a family owned pharmacy. read more

My mother's ophthalmologist uses this pharmacy for the preoperative prescription needs. I spoke with the staff there several times regarding confirmation of the prescriptions ordered and providing billing information. Every time I called the phone was answered quickly and professionally. I'm not accustomed to that type of excellent customer service. Their staff even went to the trouble to contact another pharmacy my mother has used to get the correct Rx billing information. Who even does that? I won't bash any other pharmacies (i.e. chain drug stores) but that was a huge help. I am impressed and appreciate the great service provided. read more

I see the other reviews are exactly in line with the praise I would give them! I've never been there. But had eye drop Rx efficiently delivered for cataract surgery. Their interactions are attentive and personable. Their follow-through is excellent. I spoke with Linda, a pharmacist a few times. and also was helped by pharmacist, Ben. I've had a consistently phenomenal experience with Encore, and in particular, with Ben the pharmacist who went above and beyond to help me. Not only do they always have my (sometimes in short supply) prescription available and ready for me, they've also been supremely helpful in getting it delivered for me. My medical issues can make it difficult to leave the house, and they've been able to deliver my refrigerated prescription to me within 24 hours every time. Truly can't say enough nice things about this Pharmacy. And when I am in-store, their selection of candies and skincare products is top notch too. I received a prescription from my doctor down the street from this pharmacy. I normally go to CVS but my doctor recommend I come to Encore. I was hesitant because it is in Beverly Hills and figured the cost would be higher. To my surprise it was the opposite. 2 of my prescriptions were not covered by insurance and this pharmacy had coupons to apply which brought the cost down vs a CVS that would not have anything to offer and I'm stuck paying the full price. They were super fast at filling my prescriptions and the service was excellent. There was a very impatient customer who was not the nicest but the pharmacist was very patient with her and got her what she needed. I will definitely return here when I have appointments in Beverly Hills. It is also a pretty good people watching spot while you wait. I recommend coming here if your normal pharmacy doesn't cover your prescriptions or if you live in the area and need your everyday prescriptions filled. read more

I had just finished my dermatology appt and my doctor scheduled me to pick up some topical meds at this pharmacy-- I hadn't heard of it before but I'm so glad I came across it! They gave me a coupon that my dermatologist didn't even mention, making the final price way lower than it would've been elsewhere. Plus, I'm accustomed to long wait times & a lack of customer service, esp in LA, considering demand is crazy here, but not at Encore! This pharmacy has great customer service and the staff are so helpful. It is located in my doctor's building and my doctor recommended that I go there. At first, I thought they would be more expensive than a CVS or Walgreens but that was not the case. They made sure to call my insurance to ensure my prescription was covered and then applied a coupon so that my co-pay ended up being $0! I didn't even ask them to do that. They were very responsive and called my doctor's office several times for authorization to refill and were prompt in letting me know when the prescription was ready.
