I had grouped them into three different cars for trips from the airport to the hotel. As luck would have it, we had all sorts of flight delays and changes. The dispatchers at Black Diamond saved me stress and time by tracking flights and figuring out new configurations of who could catch a ride at which time and with which companions - and then kept every passenger informed via text or phone call. That is a HUGE task, and I appreciate all they did to make our travels go smoothly. Our CEO commented on how nice it was for each of us to not have to be concerned about how we would get to the hotel in a new city after a long day of travel and delays and changes. Additionally, several people commented on their drivers -- saying how pleasant they were and how they shared anecdotes and history about Seattle during the ride. Way to go Black Diamond!

I had an early morning flight out of Paine Field, about a fifteen minute trip from home. After several minutes past my scheduled 5:30 pick-up, I began to worry that time could end up tight heading to the airport. I was reaching a critical point, about ready to drive myself and end up paying for a week's parking. After telephoning the company, I was informed that a car would be there to pick me up in about fifteen minutes. For such a short ride, that was an uncomfortable delay. When I scheduled my outbound trip I asked if I could schedule my return trip (one week later) and was told to do that the day before I needed it, which I did. After most of my fellow passengers had already left the airport, I began to wonder where my scheduled ride was; at least fifteen minutes had passed, and there had been no phone call informing me of any delay. Upon calling the company, I found out that a car had been dispatched at the requested time the previous day (the day I called to make the reservation)! It took another fifteen minutes for a car to arrive. At least I didn't have a plane to catch. I do wonder, however, why I didn't receive a call the previous (wrong) day, inquiring why I wasn't present. If these had been my first experiences, I'd avoid this company for any future business, but my earlier experiences were positive, so I'll likely give them one more opportunity to do things right.
