The communication regarding when workers would be there was zero- unless we contacted and asked for information. The workers would show up hours after their supervisor said they would be there, and on two occasions, not at all, with no communication to let us know that they wouldn't be there. Repainting had to be done 3 times - wrong color; painting over drywall mud they left on trim from repairing holes they cut in walls. Flooring had to be placed twice because they forgot to use the underlayment that was sitting next to the boxes of flooring. While reflooring, they removed a baseboard heater and tried to shove it under the bathroom cabinet - laying floor in front of it. In order to remove heater, flooring had to come out or be scratched up. The wiring that needed to be capped off was taped up with painters tape instead, with power left on. They left the common areas filthy with construction dust and debris. We cleaned these areas after they left, on many occasions. They left garbage from the renovation for us to dispose of. Because we left an unfavorable review on the sign off papers, they hounded us with phone calls afterward. Their bill to our property management company was inflated and included areas that were not damaged. Workers took personal phone calls while working and talked while "working" on replacing our drywall and paint - not paying attention to what they were there to do. Parts of our vanity, sliding doors and toilet were thrown away by work crew and had to be replaced. We finally became so disgusted with the quality of workmanship that we asked them to leave with work uncompleted. They wanted to come back, but we are not allowing them access.

The most disturbing thing was that several family heirlooms were missing after they finished. I…read morecontacted the office and was told someone would get back to me. Servpro was hired to clean the store, where everything was covered with a fine powdery dust. The bid was for $2700 and the owner of the building paid a $1300 down payment when Servpro arrived to do the work. 2 workers came and spent 5 hours cleaning. When I returned the next day, I could see that much was still covered with dust and the floors were streaked where the dirt clearly was just pushed around by the mopping they did. I've included pictures of the dirt that was still visible. I talked to the project manager and sent her the pictures of the remaining dirt and streaked floors. I was told Servpro would get back to me by end of day (Friday). At the end of the day I called to inquire about it and was told they got busy with some emergencies and would get back to me on Monday. On Monday I was told that management would be looking into it Tuesday morning. In the meantime, because the building was dirty enough that spending a couple hours down there resulted in coughing and concern that it was not a healthy environment, I took it upon myself to do some cleaning. I spent 4 hours Sunday dusting, vacuuming and mopping the showroom. When there was still no resolution from Servpro on Monday, my son and I spent an additional 2.5 hours cleaning the rest of the building. On Tuesday, Servpro notified the owner that they would accept the $1300 down payment as payment in full for the work their people completed. Their people completed very little work that didn't have to be redone, excluding the windows they washed and the light fixtures they vacuumed and/or wiped down. I've included pictures of the mop heads and the filter from the shop vac I used to re-clean. Disgusted that the money was not refunded as the cleaning had to be redone.

If you are reading this after something awful has happened to your house, you are probably…read moredesperately looking for someone to help. Go ahead, call Green State. You won't regret it, I promise. In September of 2025, we had a pipe burst in the middle of the night in the upstairs of our house. By the time we found it, it was "raining" downstairs. We had terrible, extensive damage and the damage was still actively happening as I looked for someone to call at 5am. I found Green State Restoration Monroe. They seemed to have good reviews, so I called them. They had someone at our house extremely quickly, and a full crew followed. They immediately started mitigating the damage, but that was only the beginning! We were now facing negotiations with our insurance company and extensive reconstruction. By this time, I had time to research Green State more thoroughly. We decided to go with them for the entire project. I cannot even begin to tell you the great job they did from beginning to end. Viktor, who was the first person in our house that tragic day, handled the mitigation and managed to make us feel like everything was ok. Then it was handed off to Alex, who worked with our insurance company to figure out what and how we could rebuild. Irene and her team came and took our belongings out of the house, meticulously cataloged, and had them store. Then, Jesse, our project manager, handled all of the reconstruction seamlessly. He went above and beyond on many items, including when our countertop material was delayed. He talked to me on the phone while I was at home and he was at a showroom. He knew getting the house done quickly was our top priority, and he found a countertop we liked and that was available right away, saving us a delay. We want to give a special call out to Yuriy, too, who did a lot of the actual work on our house and made everything look better than it did before our disaster. I can't recommend Green State enough. We will be using them again when we are ready to do some renovations to the house, this time without a huge flood to start off with!

Stay. Away. Green…read moreState used an unregistered contractor for unlawful electrical and plumbing work, without pulling permits or having inspections, and then incorrectly told us they weren't needed. And that's just the beginning of our problems with them. We haven't been able to use our master shower in 7 months because they caused a leak just before Thanksgiving of 2025, and they haven't fixed it. Our Christmas photos have 3 large, beautiful holes in the ceiling, above our tree. And their contractor left our jetted tub in a hazardous state, without GFCI electrical protection, and we've been told not to use it for our own safety. You can see they've been cited for multiple issues - the state provides a tool to verify contractors, here: https://secure.lni.wa.gov/verify/ Their tile installer did extremely poor-quality work. Like jagged breaks in glass accents, wandering tile cuts, edge pieces not lining up, grout in the wrong places, and lots more. The account manager and project manager reviewed his work and said it was industry standard. Literally, they looked at this big, jagged piece of glass glopped in with grout (among tons of other problems, large and small) and told me it's industry standard work and they wouldn't fix it. Not joking. It makes more sense when you hear that: - the account manager is the son of the project manager, - the project manager hired his son-in-law for the tile work, - the son-in-law had been in business less than 6 months, So, he did bad work which they defended. There are actual industry standards, and I read them, and his work definitely doesn't meet them. And then, still, the tile guy installed the underlying waterproofing incorrectly. It's incomplete, it's incorrect, and it doesn't follow manufacturer instructions. He made our shower curb flat instead of angled to drain water, so we ended up with standing water, growing mildew, on top of incomplete waterproofing. The repair they proposed, I discovered, would have been incorrect and not manufacturer approved, too. And then Green State told us we'd have to pay to fix it some of it. They say they have a workmanship warranty, but they ignored requests to warranty their work. So, to recap, they hired an inexperienced in-law who did bad work, asked us to pay to fix their bad work, then refused their warranty. Then there's the hole into our attic they made around September 2025, told us was fixed multiple times, then come to find out they hadn't, so they finally fixed it at the end of January 2026. Or that they fabricated our new countertop wrong, so there's a gap between the side splash and the wall. Or that they didn't seal it with silicone either so water can go straight back to the wall... So, like I said: Stay. Away.

Recently we had a problem with some venting pipes that were never sealed and leaked condensation moisture into the insulation and caused ceiling water damage. It was time to make this small repair and patch, but we also decided it was a good time to remove all the blown in insulation and replace with insulation batting. Patrick from Sound Crawls came to do the inspection and gave us a quote for the work we wanted done. In our opinion he did the best inspection of all the businesses that came to give us a quote. He was very flexible, willing to do less, but explained how more could be done to make our attic so much better. We decided to go with his company and our attic now is clean, organized and has storage space that we are rapidly moving things out of our garage into the attic. Now the area is easy to navigate and access remote spots without getting covered in insulation. We are very happy with the results and speed at with the work was done. Highly recommend you give them your business.
