Truly a hidden gem in the West Valley. We attended the Smoke on the Water (BBQ, Beer, and…read moreBourbon) event, and had so much fun! The event was well attended, with great local country bands, a kids zone, full bar, a cigar area (separated from the crowds) and tons of food. Bathrooms were plentiful and very clean. We camped on the shore of the lake, which was beautiful (especially at sunset). Camping is all dry camping, and spots were mostly packed gravel (though they are adding firepits and site grass areas soon). The view from our RV was awesome! As a bonus there was also boat races that weekend, which were fun to watch. The costs were reasonable. There are two wedding venues we saw (one had a wedding going) with lake views - very nice. What stood out most was how clean and well kept the entire place was. The staff was 100% customer service oriented and very hard working. They all were courteous, helpful, and fun. Nick was especially great and full of information for us first timers. This was our first time, not our last!

This is a cool spot. I would definitely recommend going to an event here. We went to Smoke on the…read moreWater where they had bands, food trucks and vendors. There was a BBQ competition that we had tickets for that but never got BBQ (as they ran out) Parking was a bit spendy, $15.00 per car. The bathrooms are awesome as crazy as this sounds. It wasn't a porta potty which I was for grateful for. It was clean, it was full of TP, hand soap and towels. For as many people who used it, I was happy Cool little spot in the middle of nowhere. I believe you can rent some water toys as well.

What an amazing time! My family and I spent a month of the summer in Arizona, and made it a point…read moreto find new experiences. This equestrian center offers a free open rodeo show, where Cowboys practice roping of the bulls. We were able to get an up close and personal look at the horses, bulls, and vibes of what buckeye Arizona has to offer here. They have a concession stand where you can buy reasonably priced food while watching, as well as a plethora of open seating within the bleachers and high top tables. If you are ever on the West Coast, and in or near Buckeye, Arizona, it is definitely worth checking out! Four times and dates of open rodeo shows just visit their website and look at the calendar.

What a fun experience being under a shed that looks like an old town. I purchased what I thought…read morewas bull riding- if I would have read the advertisement better- and it was bull fighting! This was an eye opening new experience! Bull fighting and BBQ. Had so much fun, I just purchased tickets for bull riding! Parking was easy, though I thought I purchased it with my tickets and then paid again at the gate. Bathrooms were great, staff was kind, Box 7 seats were good, purchased Box 8 for the new event. With Arizona's heat, and from the mid-west, it did not feel hot at all in there. This is a venue that is great for kids and adults. Box seat mapping is difficult to read when reserving the seats so being there was good to see the layout.

Some of the games were out of service :/ it was clean and neat inside with lots of seating. Although one small corner of the business was closed off and I'm not sure why. Some of the games weren't working but still taking tokens from our cards, so I went up to the cash register and she was nice enough to add 10 extra tokens on our card which was very nice & thoughtful! We ordered one drink, a medium pepperoni pizza and a regular size cinnamon desert pizza. They gave use the buzz and the kids and my husband and I left to go play games with them while we waited for it to be done. 20ish mins went by & still no buzzer going off for our food. I had checked the counter to see if it was sitting there, thinking maybe the buzzer wasn't working. I did see one pizza wait but I thought it was someone else's. I waited a couple more minutes, then I decided to go up and ask how much longer for our food. The girl said the only cinnamon desert pizza that was sitting there was ours & our pepperoni pizza had just came out which was nice & hot but the dessert pizza was a little cold :/ she said the buzzer inner got mixed up with someone else's ? Everything else was good! Employees were nice and understanding.

The service station where the paper towels, cheese, and forks are kept was extremely dusty--about an inch of buildup--which felt very unsanitary. In addition, about half of the arcade games were broken. One of the staff members kindly tried to assist but explained that the person who repairs the machines is out for the week, and only a few employees know how to fix them. I also had an encounter with the manager, which was disappointing. When I mentioned that the driving game was making noise but had no screen, she dismissed it, saying, "Oh yeah, it's broken." When I suggested putting an "Out of Order" sign on it, she refused, explaining that turning it off would affect the connected games. Her response came across as dismissive and unprofessional. A manager should be attentive to guest concerns, not brush them off.
