My niece and nephew recently had a Tinkerbell and Peter Pan-themed birthday party hosted at a local venue ideal for kids parties (Chubby Cheek Cafe), and for that extra touch of magical enchantedness my sister-in-law arranged for Tinkerbell and Peter Pan to attend to entertain the kids. The kids absolutely adores Tinkerbell and Peter Pan . As soon as the kids saw them, it was like the already energetic party kicked into a higher gear that I did not think possible. Must be the pixie dust in the air or something equally magical that the characters brought with them. Tinkerbell was super great with the kids. Peter Pan lead games to entertain the little ones while Tinkerbell did face painting for the kids in the later part of their appearance. I believe for the 90 minutes for both Tinkerbell and Peter Pan to be at the party, it cost $350 plus the extra my sister-in-law gave them for doing an absolutely fantastic job of making this party that much more fun and memorable for the kids in attendance and the extra photo ops for all the parents to captured for their albums. 5 stars for their enchanted service! read more

We were SO impressed with Queen Elsa (Holly) who came for our daughters third birthday party. She was amazing - looked the part, read, sang (with a super impressive voice!), played games and entertained the kids (and even brought a parachute for the kids!), did really impressive and yet still fast face painting, did a coronation ceremony and sang happy birthday for the birthday girl. I am very disappointed with this company. I booked way in advance for my character to only get a horrible experience. First of all I asked for Ariel (little mermaid) and they sent me a little mermaid that didn't even look anything like in the pictures. It almost seems like they just hired a random person to dress up like her. She also got here late the day of the event. She was unprepared, still asked to use my restroom to finish getting ready. Then when it came to the face painting, it was ridiculous. According to the character she didn't have her "special brushes" to do certain face painting. Which I didn't understand because she knew very well that that was included in the package. She had also said that she was going to make up for it by doing some balloons work for the kids and didn't even bother to do it afterwards. Towards the end she didn't know what to do anymore. It just bothers me the fact that I see them post on Instagram an experience that looks wonderful for them to only sell me something way different. It was a catfish. read more

I found Enchanted Characters on yelp because I was in search of the perfect Belle for my baby girl's upcoming 1st birthday celebration. Princess Belle was so perfect, so beautiful and had an incredible voice. She looked exactly like Belle, sang like Belle and she did an amazing job entertaining the kids. Princess Rachel is awesome! She took care of all the details. I really appreciate it. At first, she wasn't able to find parking, so she called me and I led her the way to our party area. She reminded me not to have kids around me so they would not see Queen Elsa coming out from a car. Once she showed up, all kids are excited. She did a short story telling, some singing with dance moves, 2 games, hair shimmery in each kid's hair and solo pic with each, coronation, birthday song and cake cutting. I am still amazed by all the things she did in an hour! We also hired an spiderman frkm Enchanted Character last year. Both of our experience are amazing. They made kids fully engaged in the whole hour. Would definitely recommend to all my friend! read more

Just had Queen Elsa and Princess Anna (Rachel and Taylor) at my daughters Daycare for her 3rd birthday. I could not recommend them enough! They did excellent storytelling with singing, played age appropriate games (the kids ranged from 2-4) and made my daughter feel EXTRA special on her day. She loved the coronation ceremony and would not take off her crown the whole day! She still cannot stop talking about how Elsa and Anna came to play with her at school! We had Wonder Woman appear at my daughter's 8th birthday and she was a total hit! Kiddos had so much fun with Wonder Woman. She had "warrior training" where she played with the kiddos and did some face painting too. She also stuck around to sing happy birthday. What I loved most about using Enchanted Characters is the professionalism. They send you a contract ahead of time, and they answer all your questions and concerns within 24hours or sooner. I will definitely use them for all our parties. The prices are also reasonable for all the activities they do. They respond via text or email. We hired a Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas. She was awesome. We called so many places and call after call we kept getting declines for Sally. Ryan said he had done a Sally in the past but didn't have any photos. We trusted Ryan and he didn't let us down. Sally was prompt and so sweet to our daughter. Kristin as Ariel was incredible for my 4 yr olds birthday!! She was so sweet and patient with all the kids (ages 2-7 for reference)! They loved it and I'm getting told by all my friends that their kids want to invite Ariel to their party, even the ones that don't watch her movie, because " she was so fun and nice". I hired Ariel for my daughters 7th birthday party and I was absolutely blown away. She was a hit with the whole family and all the adults were asking where I found such a great princess for my daughters party. Absolutely worth every penny. From the moment she was at our porch she was 100% in character ready to entertain. She played games and sang for the children, sang happy birthday etc. My daughter had the time of her life. Hired This company for my 1 year old's mermaid themed bday party. Ariel (Kayla) showed up on Tim and was so sweet. The kids loved her and she kept all of their attention. The bubble guy I hired was a no show so Kayla has to entertain 30 kids by herself and she killed it ! The kids loves her! So I was pretty nervous when I was looking for characters for my daughters bdays. I was afraid I was not going to get the character that they advertise. I was afraid that they were going to send me a creepy looking version (I've seen that happen).... Thank god they came through and their characters are awesome!!! I can't imagine a better Elsa than Princess Rachel! She was incredible. Not only was she a dead ringer for Elsa and so lovely with the kids, but she was super talented! Everyone at the party was taken aback by her voice and how talented she was. She stayed in character the entire time and had fun games and songs for the kids. My daughter was in awe! Spider-Man was awesome and stayed in character throughout the party. We had my 3 year old son's birthday party at an indoor bounce house, and spiderman played with the kids. He happily took photos with everyone and sang happy birthday. He engaged with the kids very well (asking them about the healthiest food they eat, etc.) It was an awesome surprise and my son was stunned but very happy! Definitely recommend if you are having a princess party. My daughter turned 5 and at first I wanted belle and Elsa but changed my mind last minute and they were so accommodating. I hired enchanted characters for the first time for my daughters 7th birthday party and I was not disappointed! I found them on yelp just a few weeks before the party and after reading all of the amazing reviews , I didnt hesitate to reach out . Anna and elsa were absolutely great! They're singing was perfect and their characters were on point. Thank you Marlise (elsa) and thank you kacy (anna) for your amazing performances . I will definitely hire enchanted characters and again and hope that the characters I get are as great and friendly and professional as you both. I hired them both for 1 hr and last minute extended them for an additional 30 minutes and they were able to accommodate. My daughter, myself, and my guests loved them both! History

Established in 2011.

Ryan and Natalie started Enchanted Characters after graduating from California State University, Fullerton in 2011. They both received their BA's from the Theater and Dance department and had a passion for character work. Ryan and Natalie are now married with two boys (ages 2 and 4) and another on the way! The company started with only two entertainers and a handful of characters, and has grown to have over a dozen entertainers and over 100 different authentic costumed characters to choose from. We hold our performers to a very high standard. Our princesses are all highly vocally trained and specialize in singing performances. We value character integrity by having the highest quality costumes, wigs, and accessories and require only the best actors to play the part.

Meet the Business Owner: Ryan and Natalie M.

Natalie and Ryan graduated from California State University, Fullerton. Natalie graduated in Dance and Child Development, and Ryan graduated with a BA in Theatre. They are a husband and wife partnership and have been growing their business together for almost 10 years. They have two boys (ages 2 and 4) and are expecting another very soon! They are both very passionate about kids and love to see them smile and have fun. Our entertainers are all musical theatre professionals who are trained actors and singers. We use the highest quality costumes, wigs, and materials to create the most authentic character experience possible.

I originally spoke with charlotte back in May and decided to book with them for 2 princesses for my daughters 5th b day. She was so kind and I felt so good about them. She told me someone would contact me by Thursday of this week to go over details of the party. I paid the deposit of $300ish. Thursday comes around and nothing. I call the same number as before (949-558-2873 and 3106517226) and no one picks up and not only is the voicemail different now but the voicemail is full on both phone lines so I can't even leave a message! Charlotte finally emails me back Thursday with a very generic confirmation of time and place. I emailed her back a total of 4 times requesting a call so we can go over details and structure of the party like she had promised me back in May. Nothing. Day of the event- THEY NOT ONLY NO SHOW BUT THEY DONT EVEN CALL!!!! I was scrambling to figure out what to do with 15 kids and ended up having to improvise for 2.5 hours. How DARE they do this to kids??? I called their after hours line and of course it goes to the same BS number with the full mailbox so I can't even leave a message. I'm hoping someone will read this and learn from my mistake. I have NO idea how they have this many positive reviews. It's beyond me. They must pay for their reviews. I can't even get a hold of anyone to get a refund so I'm going to have to dispute the claims with my bank unfortunately. It's not even the money at this point, it's how evil they and careless they are and how excited my daughter was for the princesses. She kept looking out the window waiting for them to show. I hope they get their karma. Please please please stay away and maybe go with a reputable company you've heard of. I wish I had. I have attached a copy of my paid deposit and their confirmation so they can't respond and say they never booked with me like they did a different customer that I read about in one of the help reviews. I hope this helps someone.

He called me the night before to get more information on Cali Rose, the b-day girl, and what was planned so he would deliver the best for us, as well as my request of letting me know when he was arriving to get video and pictures. Cali has albinism which makes it difficult for her to see and navigate in the sun and bright light, so Joaquin made sure to have her not facing the sun during the games or interacting. All of the kids loved having Joaquin there (even those that didn't know who Blippi was) and made my job of wondering how to entertain 12 kids for 3 hours much easier! We originally planned on 1.5 hours but, couldn't stop the fun so ended up extended it another 1.5 hours. Joaquin never stopped being Blippi for a minute and entertaining the kids. He made sure to focus on Cali Rose but also included all of her friends and family. With Cali Rose and her family being bilingual (English and Spanish) it was an amazing surprise to learn he knew some of the traditional birthday songs for the Piñata and Happy Birthday! I found this company on Yelp, so it's fitting for me to leave a review here on Yelp. We celebrated my daughters 3rd Birthday this past weekend and I have to say, it was the most fun we've ever had... My Daughter LOVES the movie The Princess and the Frog and decided, that would be the theme. Unfortunately, Princess Tiana is not a mainstream Disney Princess and I was having the hardest time finding a company that had a Tiana character. I contacted Ryan to see if he possibly had Tiana and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast he replied to me and also very happy that he had said they had just hired a cast member to play Tiana. Ryan was really straight forward and honest with me about how much experience this new cast member would have. He mentioned that she may not be as strong with the face painting as the other cast members, and gave me a couple options to chose from. I personally didn't care about all that.... As long as Tiana was there to sing and play with my daughter and her friends, that's all I cared about. Ryan confirmed with me 2 days prior to the event and let me know that since this was Tiana's first party ever, she would have an assistant that would help out with face painting, which I thought was extremely professional and very considerate. Tiana and Kacy came into the party with such excitement and OMG..... TIANA..... She was gorgeous.... He dress was perfect - her hair was perfect and she had such a beautiful voice. She spoke with a New Orleans accent the whole time, even the adults were in awe. She sang, told stories and played games. Kacy did some face painting while we took pictures with Princess Tiana. It was an extremely hot day and my daughter was slightly cranky for a portion of Tiana's visit, but Kacy and Tiana were good sports and were genuinely sweet with our kiddos. Enchanted Characters made my 2 year olds dream come true! She has recently become interested in TV, specifically in Moana so I thought an appearance would be the perfect treat for her birthday ~ and it really was! Moana was very professional, on top of everything, kind and gentle with the kids, imaginative and fun. We had 7 kids, 6 and under and they were all enchanted to say the least. Terrific singing voice, awesome costume and stayed in character the entire time. Story time, parachute play, pictures, singing happy birthday was all exceptional. She also had terrific answers for all the kids questions like... "where are you going now" (kids).... "back to Montanui of course, I have my responsibilities there as their leader, Mickey Mouse is picking me up" and many more. Seeing my daughters face when she saw Moana for the first time literally brought tears to my eyes and seeing the rest of the kids joy for the hour Moana entertained them was priceless. I have been following Enchanted Characters for many years. My daughter has attended many parties from friends and we loved every single one. We hired Batman to come to my son's birthday party through Ryan who was super helpful and quick to reply. He showed up and surprised all of the kids and even the parents! Batman did super hero training and included mask wearing as part of the safety tips! It was a such a fun experience for all that were there. Due to Covid-19 Batman wore a mask at all times and helped keep the few kids we had there social distanced with his activities. Shout out to Elsa (Camille) and Anna (Amy) for bringing the magic to the party. Behind the scenes I'm not sure if I was working with Tammy the entire time but the management team was also excellent. They answered all of my questions, including some more complex issues regarding some family members with special needs. I highly recommend this group for princess parties, and honestly with how my daughter keeps asking for Elsa and Anna to come back I may be hiring them again!

She kept me updated on when she would be arriving and even let me know when there were 10 minutes left of her time, which I really appreciated. What truly stood out was how thoughtful and kind she was with the birthday girl. When my daughter needed a quick repaint, Cinderella handled it so gently and made her feel special the entire time. During the crown ceremony, my daughter got shy with all eyes on her, and Cinderella was so considerate of her feelings. She made the moment magical without any pressure. It was such a beautiful, memorable experience, and I couldn't recommend The Princess Workshop enough.

I hired this character company for my daughters preschool…read more Chris was the host and he entertained the entire preschool. I was not expecting a full on dance party and games with Mickey and Minnie! They did pictures at the end to and I almost forgot we were still at the preschool. These characters are the real deal! They also gave ME a hug! I was not expecting that lol I love how they showed up on time, came in and introduced themselves and when they left Chris even came up to me thanked me for booking and gave me stickers for the kids! Will be booking again!
