We booked Ariel (Taylor) to join us for my daughter's 3rd birthday party this past weekend in the city of La Puente & we couldn't have been more happier with our experience. When I reached out to them via Instagram, they made the process quick & simple to book our reservation. I had no issues with reserving, payment, or confirmation, it was all easy & fast. They did a great job with reaching out prior to the party to check in and confirm everything. Thankfully they had 1 last slot open on the date of the party and I'm so glad I booked it right away. Taylor was very welcoming & attentive not only to my daughter, but to all the other kids there. She looked beautiful, but her voice was incredible! I was in shock how identical she sounds to Ariel & even her singing was exactly the same my daughter was in awe! She was able to fit in story telling, a few games, singing happy birthday, and photos with all the guests all within an hour I was so impressed. My daughter was so happy & that was really the whole point, to make her smile & have her see her favorite Disney princess in real life on her special day. It was worth every penny & I wish we could do it all over again. We attended a birthday party today that featured a Moana character, and the experience was very disappointing. My daughter was so excited to meet Moana, but the performer was rude and dismissive toward her. When it was time for makeup, Moana asked the kids to line up, which my daughter did. Later, when Moana announced tattoos, she eagerly lined up again. Instead of including her, Moana shooed her away and said, "You already got makeup, this is for the ones who didn't get makeup," in a dismissive tone. My daughter was crushed. Cool. Moana, you could have explained that better initially. The line for tattoos got cut short because time was up in the play room and it was time to transition to the food room. When everyone was settled and the kids had started eating, Moana went around to each kid as they were sitting and eating, letting them choose tattoos. My daughter was so excited that she got up from her seat and was so excited for Moana to apply the tattoo on her. Moana ignored her and went around to every other kid, went as far as interrupt their eating (mind you, the other kids were distracted and not showing much interest), and applied their tattoos, all while my daughter was trailing behind, leaving her hanging. If Moana wanted her to wait and be patient, she could have told her that too. But she said nothing, just straight up ignored her. As I watched this happen I asked my husband "is it me or is Moana being mean to our girl?" He agreed with me.. My daughter was excitedly following her around, playing with her sash, asking to see her necklace- all purely because she was excited. Zero interaction. She ignored her, didn't say a single word to her, busied herself with others or found other ways to busy herself to intentionally ignore my kid. A character performer should make children, and especially young children, feel welcome and included, but this one did the opposite. She did not interact with my kid, and seemed straight up annoyed by her excited-ness. We ended up leaving the party slightly early with a heartbroken little girl. As a Disneyland pass holder my 3 year old daughter and I have met almost every princess at the theme park too many times to mention. Of course, when it was time to celebrate her Disney themed princess birthday party we had to invite her favorite princess!
