I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one…read more I hired an elf character based on the company's advertising, which promised an engaging holiday character who would sing, dance, play games with the kids, and offer activities like temporary tattoos. Unfortunately, the performance did not meet those expectations at all. The elf did not initiate any activities and appeared disengaged the entire time. I had to constantly prompt her to interact with the children. Several kids were upset, and multiple guests commented that she was not doing her job. At one point, she was standing in one spot chewing gum, which felt extremely unprofessional. Three of my guests even offered to write reviews on my behalf because they felt so bad about the situation. Instead of enjoying my party and hosting my adult guests, I ended up managing the entertainer myself and playing with the kids to keep them engaged--completely defeating the purpose of hiring entertainment. I contacted the company immediately after the party. The party coordinator responded promptly and confirmed that the elf claimed the children "weren't interested," which is why she didn't engage. I was told the owner would contact me to resolve the issue, but I never heard from him. I would give this service zero stars if I could. I am giving one star only because the coordinator was professional and responsive, which is the sole reason I booked this company. Unfortunately, the actual service was a major disappointment.

We created a custom treasure hunt and shared the details with him in advance, and he did an excellent job leading more than 10 kids through it seamlessly. The children had an amazing time, and many parents commented on how magical, energetic, and engaging the party was. Lindsey was so great at communicating with, despite me being a busy single Mom and taking a bit to reply. The whole team was so helpful and great to work with. We booked Blippi, which was not easy to find, and the actor was absolutely amazing! Shoutout to Joaquin!!! He called me the night before to get more information on Cali Rose, the b-day girl, and what was planned so he would deliver the best for us, as well as my request of letting me know when he was arriving to get video and pictures. Cali has albinism which makes it difficult for her to see and navigate in the sun and bright light, so Joaquin made sure to have her not facing the sun during the games or interacting. All of the kids loved having Joaquin there (even those that didn't know who Blippi was) and made my job of wondering how to entertain 12 kids for 3 hours much easier! We originally planned on 1.5 hours but, couldn't stop the fun so ended up extended it another 1.5 hours. Joaquin never stopped being Blippi for a minute and entertaining the kids. He made sure to focus on Cali Rose but also included all of her friends and family. With Cali Rose and her family being bilingual (English and Spanish) it was an amazing surprise to learn he knew some of the traditional birthday songs for the Piñata and Happy Birthday! Cali Rose, her family and friends kids have not stopped talking about and dancing to the songs at the party since! We truly were blessed to find The Princess Party with a great team of admins and actors! Book your next party with them, you will NOT be disappointed!

The week before the event I even called to verify everything was fine and secure. They even confirmed the date. On May 4 (my son's actual birthday and only five days before the event) this scam of a business cancelled!!!! Now looking back at the reviews, this seems to be a trend. I called very upset, because this is UNPROFESSIONAL and he was not only not remorseful, but also laughed and hung up on me. Upon now reading the reviews, it seems like he gets defensive and calls everyone a liar and never takes any accountability. But there's no way he can lie out of this one.

At first, she told me they didn't have those characters available, so I went ahead and booked Donald Duck and thought Minnie would be a great addition. But just a few hours later, Lisa called me back with the most incredible news -- her team was willing to create custom costumes for Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy just for my daughter's party! I was beyond excited -- truly over the moon. Lisa handled everything with such care, attention, and professionalism. She went above and beyond -- even attending the party herself to make sure everything ran smoothly. That level of dedication is rare and so appreciated. The characters -- Donald Duck and his assistants, along with Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy -- did an absolutely UNBELIEVABLE job. The kids were completely engaged, happy, and entertained the entire time. It truly felt magical. Lisa supported me so much throughout the process -- I honestly couldn't have done it without her. Her team is respectful, responsible, and clearly experienced in working with children. I will absolutely continue working with Lisa and her team in the future. I happily attended for a couple of months. Since my daughter started day care I stopped and while none of their class offerings work for our schedule, their owner Lisa has always been so kind. My daughter takes dance class nearby and when we've gone by and my daughter saw princesses she let me daughter peak her head in. When my daughter was having an epic meltdown outside in the parking lot and I had run out of ideas on how to bring her back down to earth, Lisa popped out to offer her a cookie and a balloon animal. As a mom it's absolutely priceless to have these types of helpers in the community. I know when our schedule is more conducive, we will be back at play and parities for more fun.
