I have been going to EMZY Salon I believe since Melissa has opened it. Melissa is a true artist at her craft. She is totally amazing, and I just sit back and "let her work her magic" on my long locks of hair. She has been so patient with me too. You see, I always had super short short hair most of my life, and finally decided to grow it out since 2015. Ok .. I'm going to brag (for Melissa) my hair IS honestly gorgeous! I cannot recommend EMZY enough right now ~ I wanted to be bold and try a whole new color on my hair last night, and Melissa and Nikki rocked it out amazingly, and the colors were blended awesome together. HOWEVER, when I got home, and throughout the night, I realized it was not the color for me whatsoever, and way too drastic of a color for my skin tone. I slept on the thought all night, but messaged EMZY and then left a voicemail for them before they opened asking if I could get a different color on it, or add something else to make it look more what I was used to. Melissa called me BEFORE they even opened and told me she absolutely would do that for me, and even told me to come in right away when they opened so that I didn't have to miss any more time off work than necessary. She had another client during this time, but is so multi-talented, she made this miracle happen to where I walked out of there and smiled from ear to ear. One of the other super wonderful ladies on her team took over with the blow-drying and styling when Melissa made sure it came out exactly how it should be with no issues. That allowed Melissa to get back to ger client in a quick manner too, which made me feel better (since I hated knowing and felt awful that Melissa had to interrupt the lady who was already scheduled). Again, cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon, how they operate, what they stand for, and how nice all of them are. Will absolutely be back for more services!! :) read more

This review has been long overdue... Let me start out by saying Melissa is the best! She takes care of us every time we see her and my whole family loves her! Our hair always looks EXACTLY how we want (sometimes even better than the picture). Even when I'm being difficult, she always figures out a style and cut for me. Not only is she great at what she does, she's very pleasant and professional. Even my super picky 7 year old son who WILL NOT go anywhere else! We always get compliments and everyone always ask where we get our hair done at. So, If you're looking for a new hair stylist or a new salon, give Emzy Salon a try, you will not be disappointed. I got my hair done here. I asked for a full highlight. It is quoted for $65 online plus additional bowls of color. It ended up being around $130 when I checked out. I was shocked. I asked for a itemized receipt (which I did not get) She just called the manager over and the manager explained that they charge for additional bowls of color. Usually salon charge around 5.00 a bowl for additional color. They charged my double the original price for 2-3 bowls of color. Anyway, I arrived to the salon before the stylist did and she was not happy. The girl was in a terrible mood and rolling her eyes when other people talked to her. Overall, I will take my money else where bc they advertise low prices and then jack it up at the cash register. read more

2 weeks after I had a full set of pink and white nails put on at Emzy, I went to another salon to get them filled and fixed. They had to be totally removed because Molly did such a poor job that every nail was lifting and there were air pockets in the center of every nail. The cost of this lousy nail job by molly at Emzy is out of control. I overpaid for bad service at Emzy then I had to pay another salon to soak these horrible nails off and put on a new set. Oddly enough the other salon fixing all of emzy's mistakes cost less than what I paid for a crap job at Emzy. I said it before and I'll say it again ladies...save yourself the time trouble headache and money. Go somewhere else to get your nails done!!!! read more

I found Melissa a few years ago after a recommendation from a friend. I've since moved but make the drive back just for her. She's a whirlwind of energy and positive vibes who genuinely cares about her clients. She really listens to you and gives you exactly what you want, although now I've gotten to the point where I trust her implicitly and will give her free reign and still have never left the salon unhappy.
