Updated: received messages and a telephone call from the owner, as well as messages from the stylist yesterday after I called to leave message for owner/manager. I did receive a refund, which helps remove some of the bitter taste of my experience. And, I clearly said I'd wanted a salon experience as a client! I know dropping the ball was not done purposefully, which is why my tip remains with her. I appreciate her as a stylist & great conversations. I miss being a stylist/colorist and we folded in effortlessly. I should have spoken up, but knew her schedule was busy and when I I trusted the process as we are all artists an no one way is "correct". When I was allowed to get up, signaling my appointment had concluded, the moment of doing right was lost and awkwardness ensued. I truly was upset and tried to let it go. Having a refund helps, but does not erase my feelings of great disappointment in walking out of a salon with frizzy, big hair. I added a star for the owner's time and refund. I do not harbor resentment. Not happy. I have natural curly/wavy hair and was recommended to Jenna. I was horrified that she combed out my natural hair (hello, frizz, big hair) dry cut me with clippers, continued to comb my hair (takes all curl definition out and just makes it big, frizzy). I trusted the process, but I was wrong! She failed to give a shampoo/conditioner and "reset" my curls/waves! (I called in as new client told $65 included shampoo, cut style). I only received dry cut, she only added more hair oil (did nothing) to my now big frizzed, undefined curls combed out hair. My experience was sub par and I was disappointed as I wanted the full salon experience. I paid full price and left with hair that 1) should have been washed, conditioned (or at minimum wet at bowl with quick condition), 2) product of choice added to my hair and, 3) either had diffuser dry OR sat under soft heat hooded dryer. GPS had me late 9 minutes by going to random location. I called to make sure it was still okay. Jenna was nice, accommodating and friendly, but she doesn't know how to handle natural curly/wavy hair. She also failed to ask how I like my hair in back (straight across, curved). I couldn't go out to do my errands and went straight home and put it up. My first time in salon as a new client in 2 decades. She knew I am a professional cosmetologist of 26 years and my self cut needed hands other than my own. We were both pleasantly surprised that I had all the angels and my self cut with layers was on point (hard to do self cut with salon quality). I am sure she has talent beyond my experience, and great conversationist, but this gal left with a frizz ball. Definitely not $65 worth. I also left with zero idea what other services they offered. Not sure if she's a booth renter or employee, but neither she nor receptionist told me of the other services the salon offered. Pushed by receptionist to book another cut. One was enough. read more

I loved my hair dresser but it became impossible to get an appointment so I decided to change. After extensive online research, I chose CCs because they had webpage that showed modern haircuts and great reviews. So I called the salon and was able to get an appointment immediately. I have really fine hair and it is difficult for a lot of people to cut. Emily took a lot of time with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and what my personality is. At 58, almost 59; I don't want to look like I'm 70. It's important to me to look modern but not ridiculous. Plus a haircut that's easy to care for is really important to me because I'm crazy active. She took exactly what I said and made it into more than I asked for! Plus, she was extremely pleasant. I am very picky about my hair because it's really difficult to work with but this is the first time in over a decade I didn't have to go home and restyle my hair. Megan is the only person I will let touch my hair. I've been disappointed and had my hair completely ruined at other salons and was very careful when looking for a new stylist. Megan is absolutely amazing. She is so thorough and makes sure to inform you of the process every step of the way. She is always checking in to make sure that you are still happy with the process. I've never had anyone other than my sister cut my hair before so I was a little hesitant of making an appointment at a salon. Finally, my ends got so bad I very desperately called this place because of all the great reviews I read; and they were able to fit me in that night! I had Meagan - I told her exactly what I wanted. First of all, the fact that she has great hair already made me feel confident that this was going to be a great experience. Second of all, she listened to exactly what I wanted, asked questions, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I could not have walked out of there any happier! I am looking forward to coming back to experiment with some color. I'm hoping I get Meagan again!! CC Salon is tucked away in a little business development in Westlake. Kim was my stylist and she was so nice. I scheduled my impromptu appointment and within minutes she was calling me back to ask if I would come in early for some extra time since I was a first time customer. Great Service even before I entered the Salon. I was greeted upon entrance and within minutes Kim was there to take me back to the chair. After a consultation about my desires for my coiffure, she went to work. After over a year of terrible hair cuts, it was nice to walk out of the salon happy! I would definitely go back. I'm a huge fan of CC salon. I've never had a haircut but I have gotten facials, massages and the amazing "fassage", a half hour facial combined with a half hour massage. Mary is a godsend. I started doing crossfit and as a result I can't move my arms or bend over. Mary worked out all my kinks and took her time to ask me where my problem areas are and what I would like worked out. It's an extremely calming place and only all-organic materials are used. After years of tanning, wearing too much makeup and passing out without washing my face, my age has finally caught up with my skin. It's a mess. I asked for advice and was told to get rid of all the harsh chemicals I was using and stick to a more simple, calmer regiment. It totally worked. I'm in love with my new products and will keep on seeing Mary for advice and great massages! read more

Customer service was great, I got a spa Mani pedi. Both services were excellent and they offered a tiny bottle of polish color in case yours gets chipped. My only complaint is that it was really cold in there as the placement of the pedicure chair (which is a massager btw!) is directly under the a/c vent. I went to CC Salon for an impromptu manicure. Everyone was so friendly & welcoming, it was a blast to talk to them, & they did great work. I got a shellac manicure by Lynn & it is the best one I've ever gotten. It's applied well, she didn't leave a huge gap between my cuticle & the polish like other salons do, & she really took her time to make sure it was perfect. Lynn did an AMAZING job on my shellac manicure! The time and attention to detail she provided was unexpected but welcomed. So many salons do not take time to make sure every detail of the manicure is perfect, but Lynn certainly did. On impulse, I also had an eyebrow service done. They offers all of the services that fall under hair salon and spa. Although I personally only use the hair cut, the rest of my family have used numerous other services. CC is a full service hair salon & spa. CC has never failed to outshine in everything they have done for myself and my family. The prices here are reasonably proportioned to the excellent quality they offer. If you in for just a hair cut, ask for Linda - she is my favorite although the rest of the staff are very well qualified. read more

CC Salon and Spa has been great at "working me in" when I have been in from out of town visiting family. The stylist I had was great at suggesting ways to update my "usual" .... her suggestions were not extreme and I was pleased. I went to CC for the first time around the holidays this year and they were very friendly and helpful during my visit. I went for a shellac/gel manicure however they are more of a hair place than a nails place. They have a good selection of regular and shellac colors but they can really only accommodate one manicure or a couple pedicures at a time. It's not a place to go with many girlfriends since they only have one lamp for shellac nails and their nail salon room is small. Overall the place is clean and decently priced for gel nails ($30). They also offer an express manicure for $18 that I don't think they advertise, but is a good deal compared to other spas in the area. They did a pretty good job on my nails however it's not the best/neatest manicure I've ever gotten. Not sure I'll become a regular here for nails, but its a nice place. read more

When I arrived everyone was very nice and down to earth. I love Meagan, and she did AWESOME!! I had 3 pictures of the general idea of what I wanted...and she nailed it! My daughter gets her hair dyed every summer if she earns honor roll. So this year she wanted to go to a salon and get it professionally done. I did a lot of research and had a great consultation with Megan before choosing to get it done here. They scheduled us with Megan who was great with my daughter and it was a very good experience. Her hair looked awesome for two weeks !!! This after my daughter refused to go swimming and would only wash her hair in cold water like they said. We had it done at JCpenny last year for a fraction of the price and it lasted 4 months. I am not a stylist and don't know the process but I do know for $300 it's suppose to last more than two weeks. What a disappointment, specially for my daughter who deserved it. I can say for sure we will not be going back next summer ! read more
