I visited Ulta Beauty in Strongsville on October 30th, 2024. I came to find a foundation and…read morepossibly also a lip gloss or lipstick from the Serena Williams new beauty line called WYN BEAUTY. Unfortunately, they do not carry any Wyn Beauty products because I was told upon arriving that it is all at the Parma location. I knew Wyn Beauty products were sold at Ulta but I didn't realize not all Ulta locations have them. At the checkout lane, where small items are found of different brands, I did find a Wyn Beauty lip gloss for around $27 but I didn't buy it because of the price and that was the only Wyn product type available for purchase. While I was disappointed, I still left with makeup as I do want to start wearing makeup more often when I go out. I bought the following products: L'Oréal Paris telescopic mascara ($12.99), Impress False Lashes ($16.99), Morphe Concealer ($12), Morphe Foundation ($20), and 2 Beauty Blenders ($10.99 for two). So far, I've used one of my beauty blenders, the Morphe brand foundation, the Morphe concealer, and the L'Oréal Paris telescopic mascara. I had never heard of the Morphe brand before coming in but so far, their foundation is okay. I later noticed after purchase that the foundation is a light foundation so if you want a stronger or more defined look then don't purchase the light foam Morphe foundation. I do love the Morphe concealer though which provides great coverage of dark spots. Essentially, you could just use concealer if you don't want to use foundation but I like using both when I apply makeup. I recently tried the L'Oreal Paris telescopic mascara on Friday, 8 December before heading out to 2 events that night. I loved the mascara that I decided not to wear the Impress brand press-on-falsies (lashes) that night. The mascara gave my lashes so much definition and lift - it made my eyes stand out. Plus, it's waterproof. OTHER -- This Ulta location has an Ulta Beauty Salon inside which I found unique. I didn't even know a salon existed inside some Ulta stores. If you need your hair done then contact them. Overall, although they didn't have what I came for (WYN Beauty products), I ended up leaving with makeup that I thought I wouldn't necessarily buy but I was happy when I left. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by to browse. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 120/150 total reviews in 2024 - 769 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 8 December 2024

I love Sephora because all the products are laid out very neatly and appeasing to the eye. It's always a fun experience for someone as myself who is starting to get into wearing makeup. Depending on what brand you buy and how many items you purchase plus your budget, you may end up spending alot of money. Prices are definitely not cheap but it is also reasonable, for example, if you just purchase one quality lipstick, you shouldn't spend more than $20. I purchased a Sephora brand dark pink liquid lipstick and I received a few samples of products from Sephora too. I've worn this lipstick and love it. I'm always complimented by others on how the colour pops against my skin tone. There are a lot of brands (Fenty Beauty, Bobbi Brown, Rare Beauty, etc) in Sephora so if you feel unsure of where to start, ask a staff member to assist you. The friend who I was with wears makeup akmost daily so she was a helpful guide for me as I navigated the store. All your makeup and skincare needs are here at Sephora including a men's section. I called the Lush in Beachwood and a young man answered. He said hold on and came back on the line and said, we have a couple. He asked me if I wanted him to hold one, I said I don't know yet. I convinced my husband to drive 40 minutes to get this bar. On my way I called and the same person responded. He told me he found some more to be safe they'll be there for me. As soon as I got there this nice young lady walked me over to what I needed. She spoke to me about the After Magnesium Bar. At that time a young man walked up to us, I quickly recognized his voice. I told him I was the person who called, he said I knew you would come in. We spoke about other bars to help sleep. After he helped my husband with shampoo, conditioner, lip balm etc. His name is KJ and he was one of the nicest, knowledgeable, customer service oriented people I've met. A thousand percent I recommend this store! The products; The Wiccy Magic Muscles feels great so far. It's one of those things that you don't know how much it helped until you don't use it. The After Magnesium good for after workout, the young girl says it has been good for backache. I'm using for pain as well. The Cherry Gum lip balm you can feel the true ingredients that last. Doesn't have that waxy feel of an inexpensive lip balm. Shampoo and Conditioner - So far so good. KJ and Team - Thank you for all you do to help your customers. You treated us like we were the only people in the store. Keep it up! Both of you! IMPORTANT!!!! - Please be careful as there are several websites stating they are the official site for Lush! They hook people with 75% discounts, the website is spelled wrong. That is why I had to go purchase from a physical store, I didn't trust the website. Their true website is www.lush.com that's all! Not Lush.us etc. Be aware!
