My friend recommended Wiccy Magic Muscles that she uses for muscle pain. She lives out of state. I had gone to a Lush in Las Vegas many years ago, and during the time may have went an additional time. So I called the Westlake Lush and they stated they didn't have any. I called the Lush in Beachwood and a young man answered. He said hold on and came back on the line and said, we have a couple. He asked me if I wanted him to hold one, I said I don't know yet. I convinced my husband to drive 40 minutes to get this bar. On my way I called and the same person responded. He told me he found some more to be safe they'll be there for me. As soon as I got there this nice young lady walked me over to what I needed. She spoke to me about the After Magnesium Bar. At that time a young man walked up to us, I quickly recognized his voice. I told him I was the person who called, he said I knew you would come in. We spoke about other bars to help sleep. After he helped my husband with shampoo, conditioner, lip balm etc. His name is KJ and he was one of the nicest, knowledgeable, customer service oriented people I've met. A thousand percent I recommend this store! The products; The Wiccy Magic Muscles feels great so far. It's one of those things that you don't know how much it helped until you don't use it. The After Magnesium good for after workout, the young girl says it has been good for backache. I'm using for pain as well. The Cherry Gum lip balm you can feel the true ingredients that last. Doesn't have that waxy feel of an inexpensive lip balm. Shampoo and Conditioner - So far so good. KJ and Team - Thank you for all you do to help your customers. Received a nicely scented bath bomb as a gift, so wanted to see other products. This store is in Beachwood Mall on the first floor. It's lovely, and the scents are nice. There is something for everyone at all price points. Products have cute names like Cup of Coffee face and body mask, Tingle body conditioner, Comfort Zone shower bomb, and Pink Peppermint foot lotion. There are products with cute names for children, also. Gift boxes are already made up for quick purchase. The attendants are very knowledgeable and helpful. I've been to this location several times over the last month or so and each and every time the staff has been so friendly and helpful! My first visit I was a complete stranger to this environment and had so many questions, I was helped by a very friendly woman who was able to recommend several products to address my skincare needs and I'm glad to say her recommendations were spot on! The rose face mask really helped to reduce the redness in my face and smelled very pleasant. My second and third visit I went with a coworker and my boss and they showed the same level of expert service to them as well and made pleasant conversation as well. Today when I went in thestaff seemed very knowledgeable about the products yet again and allowed me to smell and even offered for me to try some of the products to see if I liked them (today's visit they had lip balms and scrubs which I didn't try cuz I'm a germaphobe) but they also opened up a deluxe bath bomb that I was interested in to show me what was inside! First time coming here and I was looking for one of the shampoo bars, I can't remember the girls name who helped me but she had long wavy hair, she was taller and skinny, and very helpful. She was very knowledgable on the products and gave me a great suggestion. Some items are priced fair, others are not, I got the mint Julep lip scrub and there was no sign saying the price, but for some reason it was a couple dollars more than the other flavors, totally not worth it in my opinion after getting it home and using it, it's literally just sugar and flavorings, made my lips more irritated then soft and shiny, I will skip that next time. Bought a few bath bombs for my daughter, they are nice size and priced average, and the shampoo bar ive used once and am already in love. If I could give Lush 100 stars I would!! I absolutely LOVE Lush, and would literally live in one of these stores if that was possible! Lush is an experience for the mind, body and soul. You literally can smell the store as you're approaching before you walk in. Every single Lush I've been to has the friendliest staff ever who are all so experienced and know so much about each of the products. They can give you samples for free, and often do different demos, which are mesmorizing. I've tried shampoos, face masks, bubble bars, shower jellies, lip scrubs, hand soaps and moisturizers, but my favorite product of all time has to be the bath bomb. I think I've tried almost every single one, but my favorite has to be the galexy, it literally looks like you're in far out in outerspace! The company has the most incredible ethical policies, and donates so much money to philanthropic orgnaizations and never tests its products on animals. This makes me feel a little better when I end up spending tons and tons of money every time I visit. I'm biased - I love Lush, so it would take a lot for me to give a Lush a poor rating. That said I'm particularly fond of this Lush (I hate the parking lot, but that's Beachwood Place for you; I'll suffer the parking lot for my bath goodies). I've only once had a mediocre shopping experience here. The employees are always friendly and helpful, without being pushy or annoying. They'll let you shop in peace if that's your way, but if you have questions they will hop in and help without feeling like a pushy sales person. Ci Ci and Brittany are super helpful and nice! Recently I stopped in to buy a gift for a friend, and honestly I didn't have a whole lot of direction. Brittany (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was so sweet and helpful. She asked enough questions to help guide me, and I was able to grab 3 items that are perfect for a friend without going broke. She also had some great advice. Ci Ci and Brittany also told me all about their experience at the Lush Spa and encouraged me to check it out (I'll be travelling near one - it was just another way that they shared their passion. It's obvious any time that they talk how much they love Lush; it doesn't feel like it's "just" a job to them) If you are into Lush cocktailing (mixing different bath items - like part of a bath bomb with a bubble bar so you get a nice soothing bath plus plenty of bubbles) I've had several employees give me awesome "recipes". I love that you never feel like you're in a typical store, but more like chatting with people you already know. To be fair, even a quick jaunt in to Lush can empty your wallet and quickly. Pay attention to prices, and sales happen once a year. However I have never felt like I wasted money on bath stuff (absolutely can not wait for Lord of Misrule to come back into season). Buffy the Backside Slayer body scrub bar is amazing. It will make your skin incredibly soft and smooth, and you can even skip moisturizer in winter. As long as I don't keep it in my shower, it lasts a lot longer. If I keep it in there, it practically melts down. The shampoo pucks are awesome, but hate my color treated hair. My last shampoo puck lasted at least 6 months (and that's under $15 for a thing of shampoo). Going into the store is significantly more fun than online because you get to feel, smell, and see everything in person. Obviously if you are scents-sensitive SKIP THIS PLACE or admire from afar. I have a confession; I'm a dude, and I like to smell...good:) Yes, I get colognes, I get soaps, I get all that stuff, because, as I look like an Amish bouncer, I need all the help I can get. Usually, just the old cheap special at the local store will do for a quick clean up...then I found Lush. Lush is bright, bouncy, trendy and bold, with great smelling, hand-made accoutrements for your bath or shower, with great names like "Dirty", a soap/body gel that smells like minty toothpaste, "Karma" that has a wonderful, fresh combo scent of patchouli and lemongrass, to scents with names like "Breath of God" or a shaving cream called "Shave the Planet", the store's got hand-made soaps, creams and the like that'll do right by you, be you young, old, and especially if you just want to smell great. The store at Beachwood is staffed by fine ladies who are mighty nice and very helpful, but really, all they'd have to do is stand there and smile, because, frankly, the products just sell themselves. I know it's in Beachwood which may be far for some, but if you want the best, go a-wandering my friend, ye shall not be disappointed. I'm so happy that this location, moved to a bigger spot. The old spot was so tiny, that sometimes you had to wait to even get in the store. New spot is perfect, not cramped at all. I love the way a Lush store smells. I wanna bottle it and wear it as perfume. Love love love, "Angels on Bare Skin", best face wash I have ever used! I recommended it. They have great premade gift packages for the holiday, at great price points. I never have a bad time at Lush. Anyone who has every helped me, knew about the product, and different types of skin. So they can help you pick out the best product that will benefit you. They use the product, so they give you a honest opinion on how they enjoy it or dislike it. First I would like to start off by saying, I did not go into the store! I actually bought products online. I bought the GoldRush Bath Bomb, Sex (forgot the second part) Bath Bomb, and the 'I Love Juicy' hair shampoo. Both bath bombs smell absolutely amazing! And I'm so excited to try the shampoo. My reason for leaving a review is because I was not so happy when I got a package delivered from their store... one bath bomb was sitting in the box unwrapped. I was surprised it hadn't broke and it probably would have if it wasn't surrounded by packaging foam pieces. The second bath bomb (GoldRush) was in a paper bag (which was better than the Sex Bomb) but the lotion top of the bath bomb was smeared all over the paper bag!!! I was so confused because it looked like grease. Even though this is something I should bring to corporate's attention, I just thought people might want to know if they want their products in best condition, go in store!!! Always a fun trip-purchased a new product called "fun"; it's a play-doh type of soap that you and or your children can mold. I bought three scents, each a different color: pink, orange and yellow. Product is one of the best they offer and is a bargain-way more so than their bath bombs, which keep shrinking yet the price keeps increasing. Love LUSH just wish it was more reasonable priced! I feel so guilty every time I walk out of there and look at the teeny lil shopping bag that accompanies a $100 bill. I have not been able to beat their bath bombs or bubble bars but I break them into 3's or 4's to get what I can somewhat feel is my money worth for them (they range from $5 to about $9ish) - sometimes more. I was incredibly thankful for the fellow pregnant saleswoman who on this trip helped me find a foot lotion to help with Preggo swelling/soreness and a facial scrub that is more intense but I can use less frequently to get some of my pregnancy glow going lol. read more

Lush gives in store demos to show you how a product works and smells on your skin. Another thing I love is no animal testing and naked packaging to reduce waste on the environment. lush is like one of those really bad relationships we tend to keep around only because the sex is good. and yes, you totally know what i'm talking about. lush hurts me in a lot of ways. it hurts to just set foot inside of beachwood place, period. it hurts my bank account, it hurts my eyes because it's too bright in there, the combo of different scents hurt my nose, and the annoying sales girls hurt my brain. that being said, i'm sort of in love with lush. i know lush hurts me. but i cannot stay away from their lovely products. bath bombs are pretty much the only reason i'll actually sit in a bathtub. you can buy some of their perfumes in a solid. they're very reasonably priced ($12, i think?) and they last FOREVER. seriously, i've had the same solid of Karma for about 3 years and it doesn't appear to have a dent in it. every time i wear that scent people ask me what i'm wearing and why i smell like a headshop. most of their products are expensive because they seem to last a lot longer than most. read more

This place is the BEST! I've seen a lot of Lush stores back in California but have never walked into one until after I moved to Cleveland. I was browsing for some new skincare products, and Cici answered a ton of my questions and recommended products suitable for me. When she saw that I was interested in the tea tree toner, she offered me 10-day free samples of lotions and face wash that pair nicely with the toner! Now moved to a bigger location, and thank goodness because I've had closets bigger than the space they were in before. Jokes aside, Lush is a lovely place to get some gifts for some women in your life, or just to treat yourself to a few bath goodies. I do find their products to be way overpriced, but it all depends upon what you like spending your money on. If you don't mind spending a few extra bucks to enjoy a colorful, delicious smelling bath, this is the place to go. I don't really subscribe to all of their views on skincare, and I don't necessarily think using food on your face is the way to go, but there are some products I buy here that I absolutely love using, and will continue to repurchase. Gifts from Lush are also always well received, and a great conversation starter, especially for those that haven't tried their products. I haven't always had great service here, mostly because it's usually overcrowded, but I do appreciate that the company focuses on doing good, be it environmentally, through their cruelty free pledge, or through whatever charity promotion they have going on at that time. I have always had a very good experience at this Lush location! The staff is very helpful and I appreciate their input. The thing that has caused me to remain loyal exclusively to this location in particular is the first time I tried their Henna hair dye. If you know anything about this product, you know that it's a little bit confusing to use... the whole ordeal is quite the production! You have to heat it up, basically like baking chocolate, wrap your head, and keep the dye on there for hours! My first time using this I was (understandably) a little wary... the staff was so kind and knowledgeable and they actually offered to apply it for me since i had never worked with it before! They not only applied it, but they taught me how to use it in the future I was surprised and grateful for their high level of customer service and I always look forward to popping by, smelling the delicious smells, and checking out what is new! read more

Lush is great for a treat every once in awhile. Sure, it's all incredibly pricey for a generally one time use item that does the job that Dawn dish soap could do in your bath, but that's not the point! The point is to treat yourself to a nice relaxing bath with fancy frills and sometimes that means spending a little extra money for a relaxing evening. The customer service here is always great and they help you find things that you may need or want or not need and not want... You get instructions on the usage of some strange products and can even test some in the store. Just be careful, because it's easy to get overwhelmed, sniffing everything and touching stuff. Pace yourself and don't be afraid to tell the sometimes pushy staff to just let you be. Also, watch out for the glitter bath accessories. Don't touch unless you're ready to be glittered all day! (I think this is the worst idea--bathing in glitter? That can only end poorly.) The products are all natural and gentle on your skin, which is also a plus for anyone like me whose skin freaks the eff out over any slight change in routine. Another fun aspect of the store are the slightly suggestive names for some of the products and the just plain silly names for others. The creative team for this company has got to have the most fun at work with those names and descriptions. In general, just keep in mind that it's easy to get carried away in this store, but definitely stop in and give some products a try! They changed the way I look at baths forever. read more

so i have to yelp lush here in clevo because....well, i'm a sucka. lush, by every definition, is ridiculous. they have extremely over priced soaps, shower gels, facial masks, shampoos, lip balms, etc. think of it like bath and body works if the owner decided he loved himself some patchouli and moved from the heartland of ohio to san francisco and smoked a lot of pot. that being said.... i'm addicted. i took my best friend and her husband in here once. they laughed in my face because i actually spend that much money on toiletries. but i can't get enough of the scent they have here. which one? not gonna tell you. girl's gotta keep some secrets. it's my femininity that *naturally* smells that good. eww. that sounds dirty. so yeah, i'm addicted to lush. but the salesgirls in here....i could do without their manic questioning and overexerted friendliness to push whatever sale is coming your way. i don't remember other locations having this type of sales person. from what i remember, the other places were a bit more "if you have questions, let me know" types, which i appreciate more than the ones trying to sell you the store. and the place isn't very big. you get three sales girls speaking loudly trying to make month end and i just want to give them a cactus. to the face. find a facial cleanser for that one, sally sorority. read more

Bought a bar of soap. It made the bathtub flood. Water would not go down for two days. My child had an allergic reaction to it and it was almost gone after two uses. I was happy they refunded me. The workers are excellent. Unfortunately, I have never had luck with any of the products. read more

AMEX called me about an unauthorized (online) charge oversea from a cosmetic store for $ 50. Luckily they stopped the transaction just in time. How is this related to Lush Cosmetics? Well AMEX and I went through recent changes and found another earlier unauthorized charge of $1.75 from Lush Cosmetics. Sounds familiar? I don't know them and I have never been to Beechwood, OH. I live in California. It seems like they make a habit of making small fraudulent charges at their store. If they are caught, the amount is small enough not to create any attention to them or for anybody to press charges. In my case however, AMEX didn't catch the unauthorized charge of $1.75 at their store initially so they later on made a big purchase from their partner oversea. Luckily AMEX caught it this time. Please avoid Lush Cosmetics like the plague if you don't want to fall victim to their scam! read more

Lush is my one of my go-to places for gifts. They always have something interesting, and are super eager to demo any product for you. I would have given them 5 stars, but on my most recent visit to this particular shop, the sales girl was wayyyy to pushy, they had run out of catalogs (which is a big deal when buying gifts because nothing has any packaging, so you need the catalog to explain what things are and how to use them), and they had discontinued a couple of my favorite things. There was a pending charge for an overseas airline ticket for over $1500 and another from a place called the HoneyComb Hide Out in Baltimore MD. So far the common link seems to be Lush. This suggests that an employee there is using their credit card system to fish for active AMEX numbers to try any use it for a spending spree before it gets shut down. i am just happy that lush finally made it to cleveland, yeah.. i may watch all of my money fly right out the window but any time i am having a super craptacular day i know that lush will undo all of that and i can pretty much walk into the place, choose anything with my eyes closed and be doing cartwheels over it in about five minutes. it does crack me up that so many salespeople work in a store the size of a closet and that may have something to do with the in-your-face-ness factor.. but on more than a few occasions i came home to find that my bag was full of little samples obtained simply by being nice and friendly. take the time to sign up for the online updates, they have all kinds of theme "parties" and specials and contests, i won about $1000 worth of soap last summer and even got a discount because it was my birthday that month. when there choose something big and when you get it home, break it up and use it. one of my favorite things is the "comforter" bubble bath bar.. easily good for about 8-10 baths. also the solid shampoos are worth every penny. read more
