Not only did they answer the phone on a Sunday, but scheduled a technician to come out the next day. Awesome! The technician arrived right on schedule, was very pleasant, and determined within seconds of hearing the A/C turn on that it must be the capacitor for the compressor. I've dealt with capacitors a lot in my life as an electrical engineer, so I knew that that should be a cheap fix. Chinese A/C capacitors sell for $25 on Amazon, so even with a small, local company mark-up I was expecting to get away with maybe a hundred bucks, plus the $95 service charge for coming out. To my surprise they charged me $420 for the capacitor, so with the service charge I paid $515 for a capacitor that Amazon sells for $65 (US made, not Chinese). I believe that at this point, the company is taking advantage of customers when they otherwise have to live in 95 degree heat, and I cannot recommend this company at all!

They failed to properly seal up the AC chase on the outside of the house to prevent pesky rodents from entering. The technician that came out took pictures and confirmed the oversight. The exterminator came and found the rat. If they had properly sealed up the Chase the rodent would not have gotten in, in the first place. Other than this they are very professional and I would recommend them...just make sure to seal up the chase.

I asked for a call back because our AC was acting up and I wanted to know my options. Bob called…read morewithin a 1/2 hour and I explained that our unit would work for a while (sometimes as long as overnight) and then shut down. Several hours later it could be restarted and would again run for several hours. Bob had me check the condensate safety float and as soon as I removed it the unit started up. Bob then walked me through how to clean out the drainage line. It was very clogged and after I cleaned it out as he instructed the unit has been fine ever since. I really appreciate that Bob took the time out of his busy day to help me with my problem with no expectation of payment. In my book, that is providing great value. I am glad I stuck around after their staff change. I am beginning to see a major positive change with their current staff. Specially their technicians. I hope the company treats them right so they stay around. I'm extremely happy and satisfied with the last two visits. I have not experienced last minute changes/cancellations lately. I hope they keep up that way. The office staff is very polite and responsive. They are in track on scheduling and following up on service calls. They continuously reached out for updates when ordering a part. I have maintenance package with them that includes 2 yearly maintenance service. Technicians have showed up on time and are very attentive to my concerns. Home services are never cheap. I believe I get what I pay for. In my case having the service package is totally worth it. All work was completed properly and to my satisfaction. I hope they keep up with the positive change.

Takes a deposit upfront and then never does the job. He will put a bogus lien on your home and has been getting away with it for years. Check Better Business Bureau and DBPR. There are A lot of complaints about Amp'd Electric and Bobby Glen Garner jr He lies on the liens claiming he did work and dropped off materials at property. This was my experience with this electrician and many many others have said the same thing online.
