I wouldn't store anything very valuable in this place though, because it would be pretty easy to get in, the fence is easy to climb. It's good for storing little things that you can't fit in your house. I like that there are two sizes of units you can use, that way you don't pay more money for space you don't need.

Fair business practices: We rented a covered space for our…read moretrailer for many months (+/- a year.) The onsite manager was helpful, although not always responsive quickly. The covered space was ok but the maintenance to the support arm that impacted getting in and out of the space never happened. My main complaint was their business practice policy regarding rental reimbursement of partial use of the 3 month rental interval period they sign you up for. Many months into our space rental, we paid our upcoming 3 month rent for the space. Near that time, we were also notified, as were all the space renters, that we would need to move our trailer out of the space for 3 days the following month ( a few weeks into the 3 month prepaid rental period ) due to gravel maintenance and grading. When we moved our trailer, we decided to relocate our trailer closer to our new home and give notice to Mighty Vault that we vacated our space by email and phone message, and we were seeking reimbursement of unused rent. Up to a week later, we received a call and we were told the business policy was they do not reimburse for prepaid rent, that we would have needed to go month to month before the 3 month prepayment, and then we would only have paid for one month, not 3 months. The business kept the more than $400 of unused rent. Additionally, we were told that this process was included in the initial contract information done many months before, which we had not recalled, and they had no way to reimburse partial amounts the of 3 month prepayment. While I understand contractually, I had not recalled that information. I find the policy as unfair in practice to the consumer and do not recommend this business as fair and trustworthy.

This included not just the rental paperwork, but also proof of insurance, ownership documentation, and the boat's registration--all of which needed to be completed upfront with payment, despite not having seen the unit or its location clearly. This situation struck me as quite unreasonable and frustrating.

Doris seemed nice at first and so she had a unit coming available in a day or two, so I gave her my number when it would be available. Never got a call so I had to call her back, no big deal okay...but the person decided they were keeping their unit but she had a larger one available for more money, go figure but like I said we were out of time. So we signed all the paperwork gave her all cash (as they do not take anything but) and she gave us an access code. We rented a Uhaul and packed up all the stuff and drove to the unit only to find the code was wrong since she leaves at 1:00 every day and apparently she was taking a day off it took another 2 days to get a code so we could actually get into the unit!! while we still were paying for the truck rental as well. Already irritated by that, we went ahead put everything away. We only were going to need the unit for the 1 month period as we had told her until the new house was ready, however when the month came to an end and we emptied the unit along with her very limited hour's shes there she didn't get told with the week notice necessary I guess, so we paid for the whole next month, we figured well might as well use it to store some nic nacs in the meantime, only to find out that she had already rented the unit again ! I called and asked and all she said was "It's in your contract" so I checked and nowhere in there did it state she can rerent your unit if you paid for it. During the time we had the unit and came to pull out some stuff, Doris was there and was actually complaining to us how she had just found a dead body in a unit!!! thank god we weren't planning on staying or I would have left anyways after that!! and last bit of advice, people are living in some of the units, so keep your stuff locked at all times!
