I told 3 of my coworkers to call the Santa Rosa Enterprice truck rental .. They ALL called & the manager side kick ( Franis) told my friends that they did have truck AVAILABLE!!!! So I was Wtffff !!! So I want to back Enterprice & asking for the manager which was the same guy who told me told they didn't have any trucks available!! So I told him WTF bro " why are u lying to me !!! I told him tht 3 of my friends called here and y'all said u guys have trucks available " so the bitch manager got OFFERED and told me to leave !!! I really hope management sees this POST !!! I got there on time for my rental, but their power was out. Not a big deal. It took 30 minutes to pick up the rental, but that wasn't a problem. The problem was this pathetic Snowflake they have working there. I rented an appliance dolly for $20 even though that's a rip off...I left the blankets at $8 apiece. The poor guy didn't know the difference between a standard dolly and an appliance dolly. Even though he'd been working there for some time. This was not the problem. The problem started with Snowflake telling me he asked me what kind of dolly I wanted and I told him repeatedly, yes and I said the appliance dolly. It's not a big deal the poor dimwit didn't know the difference. The problem was that he just didn't admit such or say he misunderstood and instead, ragged on repeatedly blaming me for his ignorance. I finally told him to just get the other dolly type and he told me to come get it myself. To be fair to Snowflake, he did have a moment of sanity and bring out the dolly while I was getting the truck open. I come back later with the truck, and right away Snowflake starts in on me again...you can't make up how butt hurt this poor sap was from my calling him out for not knowing one dolly from another. Right away, it's "do you have the keys"? in a snooty tone. I told him I left them in the truck so he could check the gas and he starts to huff and puff. I go get the keys and he follows me out, looks the truck over and then says "I thought you said you left the keys in the truck. I told him I had and went out and got them for him. Here it is 6 hours later, and these goobers still haven't paid their electric bill, as they are the only ones in the neighborhood without power. So Snowflake hands me a tablet and tells me to put my email in instead of doing his job and asking for it to key it in. His cheap tablet doesn't have a text change key like every phone and tablet in the world and no @ button on the screen. I'm sure you can guess how Snowflake decided to rag on me because I couldn't figure out how to use his cheap junk in 2 seconds...this after it took him 15 minutes to figure out how to use his own equipment since they had no power. This guys actions would get him fired from any reputable business on EARTH. He's a total loser who does not understand the meaning of the words "customer service". So , after I paid, I told the prick to stick it, as in I won't be coming back to this dump, and left. He ran out telling me to never come back...like I would ever do business with such horrible, rotten People again. Do yourselves a favor. avoid these guys like the plague they are. I attempted to rent a 16' box truck through the Home Depot app today, and the app displayed this…read morePenske truck rental location, and the cost was $47.66 per day plus .86 cents a mile. The app said I couldn't pick up until 5pm, and since it was 11am, I attempted to call the location to inquire if I could pick the truck up early, and they said yes, so I proceeded to rent the truck directly with them (I told them I was already trying to rent it via the Home Depot app.). We went through the rental agreement over the phone and when we came to the price, they said it would be over $90 for a 3 hour truck rental alone and mileage was extra. I mentioned the Home Depot price and was told that they were charging me extra for renting it for business purposes. Home Depot has my business information, and they didn't ask for double the regular rental price because of it. I asked if they would put the rental as "personal" instead of business, and they said they wouldn't honor the Home Depot price. I'm a Federal Fraud Auditor, and I find this alarming. I've already contacted Home Depot corporate, and I'll be speaking with the local vendor relations person shortly. I have now rented a 15' box truck from True Value in Cotati for $39.95 for the day plus mileage. I recommend renting here instead of Penske.

I originally requested a cargo van and hand truck on-line and all was well until I received a call…read morethe day prior to pick up stating that they had no hand trucks for two more weeks and that the cargo van was unavailable & that I would be getting a truck. After speaking to the guy on the phone, I understood that the website and local offices are not necessarily coordinated and up to date with inventory, no problem, I understand how this can happen. I received calls from Penske representative on Saturday requesting my arrival - it seems their hours of 9-Noon are only a possibility, and are more accurately based on "reservation time"; so be timely and drop ins may find the office closed. The truck inspection was as expected but for the "low air left front tire" warning. It was low, but not flat. I suggested I put air in as the office did not have a compressor and was told, "No, it will be ok for a day, we will do it when you return the truck." Ummmm, ok. So I took the truck and spent the day loading. The next morning, 7:30am, as I was preparing to depart - the left front tire is now technically flat! I called the Penske Roadside service and the wait time is 58min. I was offered the "call back" option and opted (of course) for that - who doesn't want to avoid that annoying music? I received the call back & was once again placed on hold then it HUNG UP!!! I almost wept. It is now 10am and I've called back as somehow the person who was supposed to pick up the phone (not hang up) was able to leave me a message as I was on hold (wtf?) I immediately called back the number she gave and the wait time is now 75min (I want to weep again) AND there is no option to call back. I'm certain I'm in the 7th gate of hell. My day is going to be occupied by getting this damn tire fixed as I will necessarily have to wait for the Penske repair person to arrive. The upside is I am getting a discount and will not be charged if truck is returned late, but, honestly, my time is more valuable that that and it will not be worth it. Never again.

I returned the truck and Dave did the unthinkable and problem shooted my 1991 GMC Scissor Lift dump Truck. The first time I picked it up, it ran great and had a small hiccup the first project I brought it on. I returned the truck and now this truck runs like it was fresh off the lot. It sounds like a F@#$ing Beast flying up hills with 10 plus tons in it. Before it could barley climb a Hill! Even though it was a little disappointing, I had to bring it back.I had faith in Dave. One thing you get with him when you talk to him and you see his expressions is that he honestly cares. This truck wasn't nightmare to get back on the road considered a real old school truck. No computers. No way of knowing what's wrong with it. Thank you Dave. You for ever have a Clientele with my whole fleet. It was discouraging when I bought this truck. The poeple I bought it from told me nobody would get it in shape I'd like it in for my roofing company. They where proved wrong!!!!!
