I had to hire another contractor to visit and give a second opinion, and they said the work quality of the waterproofing was the worst they've ever seen, and they've seen similar quality with other previous clients of jobs Total Waterproofing. I'm not a construction expert, but the follow-up contractor said their work was full of shortcuts, incomplete band-aids, and they completely failed to address the ultimate source of the leak. There wasn't any effort to repaint the edges of the waterproofing to blend-in with the edges of the deck. I ended up paying the second contractor to do what Total Waterproofing should have done in the first place. The second contractor was able to fix the leak, make it look pretty, and charge a similar fair price.
