I've had a few bad experiences here but the last time I made my decision to never go back again is when I was going to get a snack with my child. As soon as we entered the store a guy starts yelling at us saying the store is closed and to get out. It was 3:15pm. How is the store closed? No explanation or reasonable comment from him. Anything like "im sorry sir but we're temporarily closing the store" or anything like that would have been reasonable. You can just tell them people feel above others. I dont know who talks to customers in a yelling manner. The food was alright. Nothing to really brag about. It feels like they just have a random person making the food instead of someone that actually is a cook. Lastly the good reviews on here seem to be their family and friends leaving them to help lift up their score. I literally cannot imagine a place worse than this. Some of their employees are beyond rude. They are slow, lazy, stand around talking instead of working, don't pay attention when taking your order and then get it wrong, and when they get an ingredient wrong, instead of correcting it, they blame it on something else. A lot of times there's a long line of people waiting, and employees just standing around talking and not taking peoples orders . And if you place an order on the app in advance, forget about it, you will probably have to stand around a long time before you are able to get it. The menu is OK, it's really too bad they don't have better management because if they did, it could be a nice place. Goto Harrison bagels instead. read more

Bagels are solid. Best in the Harrison/Mamaroneck/Larchmont area. The staff needs a better system. The menu has too many complicated and time consuming options. The shakes and juices take forever. Getting five people/orders through could take 20 minutes or more. Coffee is TERRIBLE. Please make a change. It's shockingly bad. The vig on credit card sales doesn't feel right either. I understand credit fees, this is the wrong way to deal with it. Seated area could be nice. However, often the music is too loud and, sometimes, inappropriate for bagel shop in the morning. This review is for the new Larchmont location. What a disappointment. First of all, there is no flow. Can't tell where to order, where to wait, etc. Ok, not a huge deal. But when I order a bagel with cream cheese, I want actual cream cheese on it, not som skimpy layer that barely covers the surface. It's too bad because the bagel was kind of decent but I had to go home and put my own cream cheese on it even though I had just paid for it. I am sick to my stomach. I ordered a pastrami panini. It took them the usual 15 minutes to make it. It was $14 then I tipped on top of that. The panini was beyond REVOLTING the "slices" of pastrami that they loaded in to the sandwich were 90% heavy viscous FAT , 8by the time I got thru pulling all of this vile stuff off of the meat ( by this time the entire thing was a wet mess,) there were 4 slivers of actual meet. I guess the person making it was either blind or just didn't care what she served the customer. Upshot I paid $14 plus tip for 1/2 pound of disgusting greasy fat. The layout of the store is kind of confusing. You don't go straight to the cashier; you have to go to the right of the counter first to order and then pay at the cashier. I am pretty sure many people make this mistake because the cashier working there was one eye roll away before directing me to the other side. There were no signs indicating where a customer should go. The employees sounded exhausted and were kind of rude/unfriendly. The bagel was nothing spectacular- and the coffee tasted watered down. Not worth visiting- go to the bagel shop across from CVS instead. The people are much nicer even though it's cash only. read more

The bagels are excellent and we love their chicken cutlets. They make them fresh when you order, so call ahead if you are in a hurry.

The first time the staff was not attentive to me - they were doing a lot of chatting with each other instead of promptly taking orders and getting people their food. The second time I ordered to pick up at a certain time and the food wasn't ready. I had to wait 30 more minutes for them to complete the order. And because they rushed the food was not good at all. The third time I ordered for pick up and they gave my order to someone else before I got there. Food is good and has a lot of options, but customer service sucks. I worked in the food industry so I understand how it goes and am always patient and give chances, but this was unacceptable. I placed an order over the phone (knowing if I went in to order it would take a long time) and when I got there, waited over 10 minutes at the register to even interact with someone. One girl complemented my nails, then walked away. another was standing there and I said hello to get her attention and she said hi and then walked away quickly, and another asked me to move out of the way so they can help another customer, then when that transaction was finished, immediately bolted away from the register. I had to call out to someone behind the deli stand to ask them to help me. Again, I understand if it was busy, but there were maybe 5 people in there and what seemed to be more staff than that.
