It just opened (few days new) but the family agrees it's worth returning to. Bagels were fresh out of the oven. They had fresh baked goods and pre-made gift-wrapped plates of mixed cookies (great for visiting someone or while holiday visiting). The rainbow cookies were made on-prem (even the jam) and were tasty! The iced coffees were flavorful and they had a variety of different flavored hot coffees (including espresso). Still new and getting ready for a fully stocked open, but definitely give it a try!

In addition to what I got in the picture, I got a hot chocolate that was not good. It was similar to Starbucks hot chocolate which I do not like, I find it too bitter. Not creamy enough flavor-wise. I also got bread that was unlabeled that I thought was sourdough but turned out to be Rye. On me for not checking but hard for anyone to even be sure at that point when nothing is labeled! I also got a bagel and it was normal, nothing crazy about it. Not great or terrible. The cherry cookie was alright, the Italian cookie was fine and the linzer tart was okay, just personally prefer the filling without seeds. The Italian rainbow MUFFIN however, was by far the best thing I ate from here. I would come back just for this. It was a bit heavy and big especially for a breakfast because it was more like a cupcake but the middle has raspberry and tasted exactly like a good Italian rainbow cookie (even better than the cookie that they actually had)!

Great new spot for bagels and baked goods. Chicken cutlets are thin and crispy - highly recommend.

The bagels are not fresh, and the service is slower than expected. Super hard to park. I am sorry to say the juice is not worth the squeeze

Some people were busy working on their laptops, while others were catching up over drinks and baked treats. We also spotted a huge candy dispenser where you could fill a bag with your favorite sweets. We ordered the following: -Iced Coffee - 5/5 stars Excellent, smooth iced coffee! My only wish was that they offered coffee ice cubes to keep the drink from getting watered down. -Americano - 5/5 stars A great, well-balanced espresso drink without that unpleasant burnt aftertaste. Just the way a good Americano should taste! -Strawberry Açaí Lemonade Refresher - 4/5 stars I specifically requested very light ice, but unfortunately, half my cup was filled with it. One sip too quickly, and I ended up with a brain freeze! The lemonade itself was wonderfully refreshing, although I would have loved a more pronounced strawberry flavor. -Bag of Jelly Beans - 5/5 stars Loved the fun assortment of flavors! The cafe also offers free Wi-Fi, making it a great spot to settle in with your laptop and get some work done. Great place if you're looking to be productive, catch up with friends, or simply take a break with a good beverage, this cozy little cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere to do just that.

On a side note, despite the French name, this bakery is a Korean chain. The same goes for the Paris Baguette franchise. South Korea is very big on cafe culture! Their breads are the buttery, flaky, soft kind. There are red bean buns, custard buns, garlic bread, tons of more options with ham/sausage, and bubble teas available here. My favorites are the custard cream bun and the cream cheese dessert with almond and black sesame. My total for both was $4.95. Delicious! My mom is a fan of the black bean & red bean buns, the filling of which resembles that of moon cakes. I love stopping here for a quick snack with tea, if I were doing some Asian grocery shopping next door. I can't say I would go out of my way to buy the bakery items, unless I were buying a cake for a special occasion.

However, they also have a coffee menu. Recently I have been on a tiramisu latte kick and saw they had one. There wasn't a line even though it was a Sunday (one decided to form once I had ordered). They had three baristas behind the counter that were pretty quick prepping drinks. The espresso was strong and the cold foam was very good. I would definitely go back to try other lattes!

There is a take-away area at the front where you can purchase breads, arepas, and other easily portable foods, in addition to the tables and seating area in the back of the restaurant. We opted to dine-in for breakfast and try a variety of plates: calentado, arepa con chicharron, morcilla, and bunuelos. The calentado transported me back to Medellin and, honestly, it kept me full for the entire day. The morchilla, arepas, and chicharrones were cooked to perfection and we were provided with a variety of sauces to add an extra boost of flavor. Absolutely everything was delicious and the prices are incredibly reasonable when compared with the other breakfast restaurants in the area. The service was very friendly and attentive. Most of the clients spoke Spanish, including us, but we did hear them speaking English with a few tables that morning. This restaurant is a little piece of Colombia in White Plains and brings some much needed diversity (and flavor!) to the regular breakfast scene in this city.
