Not a bad bakery but definately used to be great. For once, its a bit over-priced. I came on a Sunday to place an order for 75bagels for next morning to bring to work for my coworkers as my randomact of Kindness. It cost me $82 they charged me $14 for 2 trays as i wanted the bagels on a tray to make it easier to display and grab. I skipped the cream cheese and butter as they were charging $13 for 1l. Of cheese $13 for 1lb of butter. I went to BJs and bought 2lb of cream cheese for $9, 2lb of spreadable Butter for $5.99 and 2 jars of jelly for $7. Much better deal and coworkers were satisfied the options. I did grabbed 3 bacon egg and cheese on a bagel for the kids and paid $23. Like I said. Definately over priced but decent food. I picked up the bagels the next morning at 8am and they smelled fresh. They were cut in half and pre sliced as requested. read more

Not bad - my pumpernickel bagel with lox, jalapeño cream cheese and red onion was decent. Service was quick and courteous. If I'm being nit picky tho, I was slightly annoyed that cream cheese wasn't spread on both half's of the bagel... so like the red onion had nothing to stick to. It was a bit messy! read more

Today was my first time here and it was delicious. I got the Asiago bagel with strawberry cream cheese and both were very flavorful. The bagel tasted amazing and was toasted to perfection. The cream cheese had pieces of strawberry which i loved. The staff is very nice and works quickly; they're also Spanish/English speakers which is great. They have a lot of options not only bagels. I've been determined to find a go-to bagel spot in my new neighborhood. This one is conveniently located in the Dalewood shopping center, next to McDonald's. I ended up going around 8AM on a Tuesday. There were a couple people ahead of me but the line went quick! I ordered my usual: a toasted sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese. They do offer a lot of interesting flavors of cream cheese, including a jalapeño one, which I may have to go back for. The bagel was pretty crispy, good enough for my liking! I went this morning to get a Bagel with scallion cream cheese and was charged $7!!! That is insane. They are charging prices here that should be illegal. Bear in mind that a single bagel costs $1.50. So you're going to tell me with a straight face that scallion cream cheese being applied to 1 singular bagel costs $5.50? What a joke. 2 people in line behind me overheard the (rude) cashier/cook/whatever tell me $7 for a bagel with scallion cream cheese and they audibly laughed and chimed in that it's ridiculous pricing. For reference, you can get a bacon egg and cheese for $7 as well. Best bagels outside of NYC area for me. Service was quick when we ordered bacon egg and cheeses on a Saturday morning. For a Yoo-hoo, two bacon egg and cheeses and two bagels it was about $14. We hung on longer than we should have. The only thing that has gone up at Highridge are the prices. We stopped eating anything from the grill about a year ago because everything tasted like dirty grill. Clearly not cleaned on a regular basis. The bagels are rarely friesh. They are often overdone and hurt my teeth. I am not even sure what to say about the quality of the bacon. It is absolutely horrific. It is not suitable for human consumption. It's super poor quality, all fat, and even my cats turned their nose to it. The staff all seem miserable, and half the time, our orders weren't even correct. I ordered a toasted roll with butter bacon and edd with a hashbrown, I payed 9 dollars.... Pricing is unbelievable and the people are rude about it. In most bagel places it is about 6-7. I travel to white plains 2 times a year with the family. I always make it a point to stop in for breakfast with the family. The line is long, but well worth it. I ordered a toasted everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese and a toasted onion bagel with plain cream cheese, lox, onions, tomatoes, and capers for my husband. -The place was tidy and clean Cons -No one greeted me when I walked in--I even said "hello" a few times before someone helped me place my order. -The guy taking my order did not bother to write down the order and kept asking me the same question about the toppings on the order. -The bagels were not barely toasted. They did not spread the cream cheese properly and it did not taste that fresh. -Lack of transparency in prices. For the two bagels, he tried charging me $20 (with change) and I said that does not sound right. He then corrected the price to $16.25. I asked why the prices reflected on the board where different and he said because I ordered a veggie cream cheese. $4.25 for a bagel with cream cheese seems overpriced to me! I can understand why the bagel with lox is more but still a little over $12 seems excessive. The prices in the city aren't even this high and you get better quality food. read more

I have eaten here numerous times when shopping at TJMaxx. They are not consistent with the food. Some times it's good some times not so good. The same with the customer service. I have witnessed them be quite rude to customers. But today when I visited for breakfast with my pregnant 24 year old daughter I received rude behavior from the lady taking my order. They also have the largest selection of cream cheese spreads I've ever seen. I only glanced at it, but if you're looking for something specific, they're sure to have it. I kept it simple: bacon, egg, and cheese on a whole wheat everything bagel. Cheese was that yellow cheap-o cheese, but seemed fitting for the sandwich, egg was fried and fluffy, not runny, and the bacon was extra crispy. As it should be. This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes you will get what ordered and other times you will not. There only seems to be maybe 1 or 2 individuals you can count on to get your order right. The following are all orders at different times: - instead of toasted pumpernickel bread, received a toasted pumpernickel bagel. - received extra bacon w/ my order BUT the person who took my order realized this and instructed me to remind her to charge me for it the next time I came back. So basically, you're asking me to pay for YOUR mistake? - instead of western omelette, received vegetable - pancakes, asked to have with bacon. No bacon. - have been asked if I want ketchup and still, do not receive it. A busy time is the worst time to come here unless you are lucky enough to be helped by the right person. So unless you want to take a gamble on getting frustrated so early in the morning before you start your work day....go some place else. Also, check your bagels before or after you buy them. I have been coming here for about a year. The bagels are good however the staff (male cashier) has messed up my order too many times for me to consider returning. Numerous times I have asked for a bagel not be toasted only to get home and realize it is toasted. We have asked for specific types of bagels and he has given us the wrong ones. We now need to watch the bagels he puts in the bag because it is so frequently incorrect. Today, I ordered chicken salad on a bagel, not toasted and received chicken cutlet on a bagel. When I returned to tell him that the order was not what I asked for, he continued to argue with me, stating I asked for cutlets. I have never, in the year I visited this establishment, ordered chicken cutlet on a bagel. I don't understand why he felt the need to argue with me, especially since this is the not the first time he has misunderstood my order (and as it appears on Yelp many others as well). After finally getting him to remake my bagel, I got home to realize it was again not what I wanted because he toasted it. I will now be on the hunt for a new bagel shop! I walk in at 1030am on this Sunday morning, a very long line near out the door. I tend to take this as a good sign because people are willing to wait usually when food is very good. So I waited. And waited. And after 20 minutes or so, it's finally my turn. The not very polite gentleman helps me amongst the chaos. I asked for the bagel in the RYE bagel bin, which had oats on it and I knew was not rye, but he insisted it was, until I asked him to go over to the bin so I could point it out to him. Ends up it was a whole wheat oat bagel, score for me! To keep my order to a very minimum time frame, I asked for it not toasted and just with some egg salad. Finally I'm on the road home with this exciting egg salad bagel sandwich. I get home, take the first bite, and what a disappointment. I'm not sure if it was the egg salad that tasted awful or the bagel, maybe it was a bit of both. Ended up throwing it out. 20 minutes and $5.50 I will never see again. Oddly enough, I would probably return if I was ever in the area again, and try something else. They have a very large menu of sandwiches and wraps, various cream cheese flavors and nice big baked muffins. The bagels also are big and soft and clearly very fresh. There are 6 bagel stores within 2 miles of my home in Hartsdale! Two in Ardsley - Star and Sunshine, two in downtown Hartsdale, Enrico's Bakery (includes bagels) Bagels and More next door and the new Sunshine bagel on Central where Dunkin Donuts used to be. But Highridge Bagel on the strip near TJ Max on Central, I feel has the best selection, quality of bagels, selection of cream cheeses in the area. Never disappointed with the texture and their large bialies are great. Also get crispy bacon on your egg in the morning and reasonable. Sometimes have to wait a bit in a line.. but worth it. read more
