Nice staff, good location, empanada was just ok. Liked the fresh nature of preparing them on site, but flavor was lacking considering the $6 price.

Enjoyed the empanadas! We orderd the 5 for $25 and had 1 spinach & artichoke, 1 chicken, 2 beef and the cuban. The pastry was very soft and flaky. I enjoyed the spinach one the most. The veggies were well seasoned and this one was very flavorful. Enjoyed the chicken as well and these are great the next day or good for breakfast. My son had the beef ones and enjoyed them. The cubsn was full of flavor and lots of meat. Ordered all the sauces and enjoyed the garlic one the most, the chimichurri one could have been more flavorful and mayo one was good. Looking forward to another visit to the Plant Street Market and having more empanadas.

Came to the Plant Street Market a little bit ago to explore and see what was good. One of the things in this world I rarely ever turn down is a glass case full of scrumptious looking empanadas. I saw them and instantly went in for one. It was so long ago, and I don't remember what fillings were in mine, but that's not what matters! What matters is that it was a very good empanada. It was a decent size, about the size of a hand. It was super crisp, and not made soggy by the fillings within. It was stuffed to the brim. Sometimes, you bite into one, and it's mostly air, like the inside of a chip bag, but not these. You get the bang for your buck here. And I remember that I had no complaints with the seasoning or flavor of the fillings. Overall, very good. I would come back to this empanada if I came back to this market, that's for sure.

Pros: Super fresh empanadas made right there. Many different varieties for you to choose from. Very crispy with an ample amount of filling that was juicy and delicious. Cons: None. Maybe just the long line because it's so popular. Tips: Don't get just one. You will regret it.

The chicken and cheese empanadas are incredible! They are so tasty and I would highly recommend the garlic cilantro sauce with them. This spot is in Plant St market which has such a laid back and cool vibe. The customer service was great, we got our empanadas quickly and with a smile. I would highly recommend this spot for a quick and delicious bite!

Tasty empanadas every time. Nice variety, but they do sell out of some. Today I purchased chicken/cheese (my fave), beef and a Cuban (tastes just like the sandwich). Pleasant staff. Located in Winter Garden indoor marketplace. I always end up buying from more than one vendor.

Empanada and Co. is located inside Plant Street Market. We stopped in today while out-n-about shopping in the area. The Empanada's here are super fresh! The young gentleman working today was actually prepping the Chicken and Cheese Empanadas as we rolled in. Empanadas are $5.16 each, this seems a bit high for one empanada, but they are really fresh. I went with the Chicken and Cheese and my mom picked the Guava and Cheese. There was also a Sweet Plantain and Cheese & a Picadillo option available. Fortunately for us, the line wasn't long, we were in and out in no time and the Empanadas were hot, fresh, and delicious. Like another reviewer stated, buy more than one or you will regret it. The reason for the four stars is that the staff member working the counter went from preparing fresh empanadas, to taking our order, accepting our cash, then provided change all with his greasy gloves on. I didn't see him take his gloves off or wash his hands after we left the counter either; we were there for a few minutes ordering coffee at Axum just across from this store. Hopefully he washed up and changed his gloves before completing the next batch of empanadas or helping the next customer. Other than this issue, I highly recommend trying the empanada's here, they are excellent.

The Cuban was fantastic, and was chopped pork with cheese, a hint of mustard and even had pieces of pickles inside.

My wife and I made a COSTCO run in Clermont to return some items (Tramontina dutch ovens chip badly…read moreand the Dyson heat + cool doesn't work as advertised) and checked out old town for lunch options. Our friends recommended Cosa Nostra but, being a sucker for empanadas, my wife suggested Pico Bistro instead. Located on the bottom floor of the Montrose Street Market, Pico Bistro operates from a small space. After looking at the menu, my wife ordered the #4 (Beef with green olives and eggs) and #19 (Beef, sausage and cheese) empanadas ($4.33 each) with fries ($3.99). I ordered the picanha (steak) served with chimichurri and fries ($16.50). We each had a Coke Zero ($2.50 each per can!) in a can to wash it down with. My wife liked her empanadas, especially dipped in that pico sauce it came with. My steak was just OK...really needed that chimichurri sauce to add some flavor. The thin steak was cooked on what looked like a portable flat top. All in all, I thought lunch was nothing to write home about, except perhaps for the empanadas. The value certainly wasn't there, not to mention a 2.5% processing fee added to credit card payments. Lunch for 2 with tip came out to $43.

This is inside of a bustling food hall. You order at the counter and eat where you please…read more I ordered just one beef and cheese empanada and it was outstanding! The meat was flavorful and the cheddar cheese was perfectly sharp. I also loved the crust- it was very light and not greasy at all. I forgot to take a pic because I was starving, but I'll be back to try a few others before I leave the area.
