The music is the typical folk music of the area. There is no place in the Orlando MSA like it. Not a fancy place at all. This is more of a "farm" kitchen feel with plastic chairs under a tent. The food size and portions were huge, super flavorful and even better the next day. Our server was good, but probably could've been more attentive. We were traveling with a little and he very much enjoyed the fun atmosphere although he wasn't a fan of the fresh lemonade. A bit too sour for his taste. But our server was very happy to get us something he would enjoy. Overall, this was a fun place for lunch. Solid seven out of 10. Be sure to check it out if you're in the Dr. Phillips area.

We were excited to try this restaurant after a long day of traveling. Our party consisted of eight…read morepeople, including two small children. Before arriving, I called to confirm that it would be acceptable to walk in without a reservation and was told that it would. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The server immediately expressed frustration about accommodating a large party without a reservation. We were then directed to a table intended for six people, with the expectation that three adults and the children would share a single bench in an extremely cramped arrangement. When I politely requested an additional two-seat table so everyone could be seated comfortably, the manager's response was simply that we could "take it or leave it." Given the lack of professionalism and unwillingness to reasonably accommodate our group, we chose to leave. We will not be returning to this location.

Ok this has to be my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I loved the food so much. Alfredo was my…read moreserver and he had the best recommendation and I loved it. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

I live close, so have come here quite a bit over the year…read more Pro- Just got renovated, so it looks pretty. The staff is nice, and the food is good. They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

There are a few tables to sit down under a shaded area so you can enjoy the food fresh right at the truck. Service: The lady was kind of quiet and not really friendly. But the food was made quick. Food: We noticed the cheese taquitos on the side of the truck and ordered them. These were sooooo good!!!! Like better than traditional American cheese sticks. My nephew absolutely loved them!!!! And they gave us two yummy sauces on the side of garlic and cilantro. Overall: we will definitely be back to try some more items, but we will ALWAYS get these cheesey dream sticks of joy!
