The kantine of the Jivan Mukti Yoga centre this is a totally vegan cafe serving fabulous Sunday brunch. Scrambled tofu, Vegan Obatzda, Sausages, burgers, pancakes, porridge and a wide variety of options for brunch and lunch. Without a booking you will have to wait half an hour or more on weekends. In the innenhof of a building it's well hidden away from the street. Small and crowded and loud when full. Service is excellent and the food is quick to arrive after ordering. I loved my food and licked my plate clean. Probably my favourite vegan restaurant now in Munich. It's unpretentious, reasonably priced and serves good wholesome food with a smile. What's not to love about that ?

My friends and I were in Munich for Oktoberfest and before we went on the trip, I looked up places to eat while we were there. I found this place on instagram and told my friends we should give it a try, and I am so happy we did! This place has such a cute atmosphere, and I love the decor inside! The staff was wonderful as well. My friend and I both got the pancakes which were so delicious and fluffy! Everyone loved their meal. I highly recommend giving Emmi's a try if you live in the area.

Great place and convenient for us due to our stay just around the corner. We have been in Europe…read morefor about 2 weeks, and sometimes a good burger is needed! We have looked forward to all the dishes that aren't readily available at home, but sometimes good ole comfort food is what we need. This fit the bill. My wife had a salads and I opted for the cheese burger with added bacon, and a side of fries. The drinks were great as well, We so wish that the U.S. would adopt the serving style where the alcohol is in the glass and they bring the soda in a bottle to be added at the table. In the U.S., it usually comes from a soda gun that might, or might not be clean, and is always flat. My burger was cooked medium, with a bit of pink, just the way I like it. The fries were soft in the middle with a slight crunch to them, with flaky salt. My wife's salad had a bit too much dressing for her tastes but I thought it was good. We have started sharing meals this way, as our appetites are smaller now that we are getting a bit older.

While there is no direct correlation to Hamburg, Germany, the word hamburger does originate here…read more And while Munich is on the clear other side of the country, The Beef Crew here know their hamburger. For my first time here I tried their "Cheese Explosion Burger". This monster lives up to its name! I forget how many cheeses this thing has because quite frankly I never heard of some of them before. But rather than ketchup, mayo, or some special dressing...this burger comes with nacho cheese as its condiment. Again the name: Cheese Explosion. As you can see from my photo it is also garnished with two kinds of fried cheese skewered to the top bun. Cheese Explosion. At the risk of stating the obvious: this is a burger for folks who love cheese. Also, if you don't like pink in your burger...make sure to tell them. They serve all their burgers medium.
