A really great dining experience…read more The atmosphere is upscale cafe - the tables have a nice mix of friendly and in the mix and private - although you are close together you don't feel close enough that others are eavesdropping on conversations. Service is friendly and helpful. Also appreciated there were gender neutral bathrooms. The drinks were great - nice to go somewhere with a diverse non alcoholic menu. I had an NA beer and my spouse had a strawberry matcha latte - I was definitely jealous of her drink as it was beautifully presented and well prepared. Food was also very good. We went all out - got a cashew cheese starter, schnitzel, a bowl, and ice cream for dessert. The schnitzel was a standout - my spouse doesn't eat meat but really wanted to try schnitzel - I do and think this one was better seasoned and prepared than the meat ones I had. My bowl was hearty and flavorful - especially liked the peanut sauce. And we loved that we could choose three flavors for the ice cream! Would definitely go back.

Our server was extremely helpful to offer recommendations and she spoke English very well. With what quickly became a full restaurant, her and the other server kept up with the crowd. I think she probably would have appreciated another hand or two to help. The food was so good, it is clear some though went into the menu as well as the preparation of each dish. Our only regret is that we didn't get a chance to visit again for breakfast before our trip to Munich was over. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The restrooms are for men, women, and gender neutral. They have a small café area and they offer takeaways. Definitely check out Max Pett whether you're vegan, plant-based, omni, or have a diverse group of eaters and you want everyone to leave satisfied!

I was lucky to meet the inspiring founders of Cafe Gratitude in August at a raw food workshop and from what I know, they planned to come back soon, it's a workshop worth attending for all those interested in joining the Cafe Gratitude community. Back in August, Cafe Gratitude Munich was just in plan, now it's a very nice reality and it's one of the places where I could stay all day long, it's part of my favourite cosy homey places in Munich. We knew about the cat cafe from some pre vacation research. We were excited to find that they were open and serving food when we arrived. All the cats were napping when we arrived but soon five of them would be up and about playing and exploring. They were investigating a paper bag we had from the Nespresso shop so I emptied it out and let them play with it. We got a burger and pulled BBQ sandwich.
