Ambiance: very clean and nice cafe, convenient location to the main train station and they open early enough if you are leaving for tours Service: very nice, especially compared to most other places in Munich Food: menu available in English and German. Sandwiches are great, good variety in breakfast options. Bagels are more bread like, but very light. The sandwiches all have some sauce/spread, so they are flavorful and not very dry. Definitely one of the better places for good coffee in Munich. My iced coffee drink was just a little sweet, so I would just ask for less syrup next time. Coffee isn't from a machine (which seems to be common in many bakeries). Would highly recommend this cafe! read more

Very pleasant cafe with lots of English/American/German breakfast options. We had a quick breakfast inside the cafe. Seating was plentiful and comfortable - it was easy to order at the counter and then wait for table service. The lattes we ordered were well prepared with a good variety of non-dairy milk options available. We both ordered the King - a breakfast bagel sandwich with eggs and bacon. The bagel was definitely not a bagel but it was a nice crusty roll and it was an enjoyable sandwich. All in all a great place for a low-key cafe experience. read more

The food is solid, hearty breakfast food! They did forget my boyfriend's cappuccino, but we just told them, and it was fine. The food came out super fast! We got the mauerer's favorite and the scrambled eggs with bacon. The Kaiser roll was a bit dry, but there was a seedy bread that was amaaaazing. Eggs are solid, and so were the lunch meats! The cappuccino and the cafe latte tasted pretty similar, but it was also solid. read more

This was a cute little cafe we happened on during our trip to Munich. The place was cozy and very inviting. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with ordering. Mom and I shared a breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, a croissant and some fruit. It was very delicious and filling! We both got lattes to enjoy with our meals too! We stayed in an airbnb across the street from the Maurerer. It was convenient for us to visit. My wife requested coffee and I requested a turkey croissant with orange juice for breakfast. My wife said the coffee was delicious. My turkey sandwich was simple and excellent. It had some greens on it along with tomato. That's all it needed, really. Very good cafe. read more

We stayed at the mk hotel almost catty corner from this wonderful bakery. Enjoyed some varied pastries and lattes. My favorite was the hazelnut croissant. It's kind of amusing to see the bees in the case hopping from one pastry to another. They didn't bother anyone since they were more interested in what's in the case. Kids are either fascinated or bewildered. Credit card is accepted as well as ApplePay and GooglePay. Contact less payment is encouraged especially considering how busy they can get. They have an indoor sit down dining area also which we did not experience but looked pleasant and tidy. read more

Absolutely loved this place for breakfast! I've been craving a hearty breakfast all trip and this did not disappoint. The food, coffee and friendly service were an easy 5 stars! Food and coffee was great! Customer service was great! My only complaint (not their fault) was the bees that come out of no where and dive into your food. I will be returning again in the future but I will most likely sit inside. read more

Excellent service and food. Nice seating inside and out. Staff went above and beyond by hooking up a coffee and pastries when my to-go order took a little longer than expected. If you go with the egg dishes, we liked the fried over the scrambled but both were very good. Bacon and coffee on point too! Highly recommended!! read more

Our Airbnb lead us to this great bakery. Great coffee and pastries for breakfast. Clean bright seating area. Great selection. Excellent service. Our server was great and spoke perfect English. The best part, the server suggested a sandwich that we should take with us for lunch on the train - possibly the nicest sandwich we ever ate. Great spot! Don't miss it ! read more

I picked this place because it was close to my hotel and had good reviews. It is great! Big, open but warm and welcoming atmosphere. A very attractive bakery case. The staff are very friendly. My German is regrettably poor but it wasn't a problem here. I ordered a sandwich with pastrami, cheeses, cucumber, and greens on a pretzel bun and it is honestly one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had! I also ordered a Milchkaffe (latte) which he brought to my table. Also good, although a little more bitter than I usually like (but I'm picky). I will definitely need to drop by again and try some of their pastries! read more
