I was actually supposed to meet my nephew at the new location in Eagle. It's actually closer to us but my sweet nephew got confused and headed down to the downtown location. No problem, I made my way downtown to meet my baby for some aunty/nephew time. It's been a few months since I have been in. The shop is a cute as ever. Merch is now available. The pink t shirt they have available was calling my name! It's the perfect shade of pink and sooooo soft. I will have to come back and really check out the merch. My nephew had already been waiting for me to arrive. He's ready for his ice cream! I noticed that they had pistachio as a flavor at the Eagle location. Kinda bummed that it wasn't available here but sweet cream and chocolate will always be a winning combo here. So today I grabbed a kiddie swirl. My nephew grabbed the medium cup with sweet cream, cherry sauce and brownies. Our ice cream was fantastic. My nephew polished off his big cup. Not gonna lie, all the extras he added made his cup look sooooooo good! I as well polished off mine. Can't leave any behind. We got to hang out with the other customers that were enjoying their treats. It makes me heart so happy seeing all these folks come and support a small local business. It's the best! I am going on another ice cream date with my neice next week. Looking forward to checking out the new venue with her. Still happy that my nephew and I got to come here today to enjoy our sweet treat. You can never beat the original.

It didn't have the vanilla flavor I was craving. My husband got the chocolate which I tried and it tasted much better. The mini size is plenty big by the way. My biggest issue was the parking here. Their parking lot has two spots, that's it! The only parking is on the street...kinda, because there were signs all over that said you had to have a permit, so my husband circled around the block while I got our ice cream. I told the gal at the counter about the parking situation, not that she could do anything about it, but she did say you can ignore the signs in the evening and park anywhere . I guess it's more enforced during work hours. If I lived in the north end I would come back and try their other flavors but I don't so it's probably a one and done for me. Definitely a try for those that live walking distance.

Oh my god. Giving it a second shot on Sunday was diabolical behavior…read more Your ice cream that you so hardly can't scoop out of the bucket was too tier embarrassment. I love spending time at the boardwalk now that it's open and it's something to do with my family. But holy ass if you can't scoop out a full size scoop out of the bucket in one try don't open a creamery. For one it was so hard to watch. The ice cream is supposed to be a scoop that's velvety and easily placed into a cup or cone as a choice. To see people get their first lick in and have it be on the floor within seconds is horrendous. It would crumble at the touch. It was not soft or creamy. It was overly frozen. It was given "freezer burn" vibes and taste. It would not scoop out of the bucket you had your employees give up after two scrapes and tried to hand me a 20% full cup of crumbled ice cream pieces and was still under the impression like I was going to pay for that? No! That's hilarious to me actually because the amount of patience I had standing in line knowing I should have walked out was purely on me. 5$ per kiddo scoop? Oblivious. Creameries around my house don't charge over 2.50 for kiddo scoop and 5.50 for a single school. It's cute in there but the experience of this day has ruined my ability to think of coming back.

I was torn between the coconut cream pie and a slice of key lime, but the coconut cream won this round. It was creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! I also picked up ice cream for my nephews and a gift card for the youngest since his birthday had just passed and I still owed him a gift. One of my nephews is gluten-free, so I was happy to see quite a few gluten-free options available! The shop itself was bright, clean, and inviting. The prices are pretty reasonable for delicious desserts. Thank you, Grace, for making my last-minute visit such a great one! Key lime pie...you're next!

The display cases had a great variety so I know sticking to my plan was going to be challenging. Grabbing a couple things and go sure was hard! They had some specialty donuts on display and man did they look killer! I didn't know what they were specifically but they looked delicious! All of them nicely decorated and garnished. But, with much restraint, I got a big apple fritter for my husband and some donut holes for the grandmas. My mom didn't let me grandma have any donut holes so I had to take one for the team and enjoy them for her. They were so good! They were soft and tasty. Every donut hole was nicely glazed. It's amazing you can polish off 7 donut holes and not realize that you had that many. They are so dainty that you don't realize how fast you're eating them. Each one was great! The gal that worked today was really sweet. I did take a bite of my husband's apple fritter and it was tasty as well! My husband also enjoyed it. My other grandma enjoyed her donut holes. She too didn't have a beard time eating 7 of them. I'm happy I stopped in today. Looking forward to coming back and grabbing more treats real soon.
