I'd LOVE to see how long your business sticks around and how well it does after being extremely unprofessional and rude to customers. After getting a horrible service, when I went there again to get it fixed, a nail technician, an Asian lady, told me that's exactly how they do manicure and there's nothing needs fixing. She definitely needs some training on basic manners on how to talk to people politely and then some training on how to deal with customers in a service industry! Extremely disappointed after receiving my $260 facial today that my gift card had "expired" since it was sent to me just over 1 year ago. There was nowhere in the e-gift card email I received that stated this policy. I find the concept of a gift card that expires to be ridiculous in the first place (they already got the money from the person who gifted it to me!) nonetheless with zero disclosure regarding the 1 year policy in the email to the gift recipient (it is entirely unhelpful if only the individual purchasing the gift card is told the policy). I had a lovely facial today but unfortunately will not be returning to a business that cheats its clients. read more

Emiline provides great service and quality work in a beautiful, modern salon. I've hosted 2 birthday parties of 10-12 ladies here. We get the range of services: manis, pedis, massages and facials. Thao, the manager, did an amazing job helping me arrange the services, order food and drinks, and set up. The ladies loved all of the services. I've also taken my 2 daughters who love going there for manis and pedis. Thao, Amy, and Nina are great technicians. The last time I went my nails lasted over 2 months! I went for a manicure and pedicure. They do not have the pedicure chairs, and what they have looks pretty but is nowhere near as relaxing. The water is in a vessel above a little table, and honestly, it's not relaxing. I felt I was going to knock it over or whatever, so I never fully relaxed. While I was getting my less-than-relaxing pedicure, another nail tech took a Facetime call on speaker nearby. Most places, especially day spas, have a no-phones policy, but this was an employee. The nice tech doing my nails asked the receptionist to get her to go elsewhere; she did, but it was awkward. I shouldn't have to tell spa employees that speaker phones are rude in almost all circumstances, but at work, absolutely not. I wanted to like this place and would have tried a massage there, but the speakerphone killed it. read more

Came here for my usual nail tech, I can't find anyone else up here who can really do nails so wherever she goes, I'm going as long as I'm still in NoVa. She does a phenomenal job. My nails lasted over 4 weeks while I was in Thailand for my birthday trip. This nail salon/ Day spa is super cute, it's located by Reston station next to all the newly build homes and apartments. I will try the hair or massage next time I come in. I hope they end up getting a lash extension tech. They use non-toxic and and gorgeous gels from South Korea. I searched nova for a highly rated spa and this place came up. Almost every review I read was positive so I was pretty hopeful! I got there, was greeted and instantly offered a refreshment. Reception was personable and attentive. Full disclosure, it's been a few years since I got my last facial and I have pretty sensitive skin, so I was a little nervous. Donna did an excellent job talking me through all the steps of my facial and recommended a service slightly different than what I had originally booked as that better fit my skincare needs. I wanted to wait a full 24 hours to see how my skin would react, and it is glowing! Hair: I booked an appointment with Florence for a color touch-up, women's haircut, moisturizing treatment and blowdry. My hair was in really bad shape and she brought it back to life! I was looking for a nail salon that was going to give me a luxury experience and that is exactly how I felt. The manager is very hands on, and checks in on your service. They're incredibly flexible and will try to do whatever they can in the time that they have. The nail service techs are top notch, I always leave feeling pampered! And - you really need to try out the 5m dry nail polish. It's literally changed my life when it comes to manicures/pedicures. My daughter and I got facials here today and it was a wonderful experience. The spa is clean, well appointed and we were offered beverages when we arrived. My daughter had a great experience with Jesse. My daughter's skin was glowing and felt plump and she said she had the most relaxing scalp/shoulder massage. My facial was with Donna who was very knowledgeable and made me feel very relaxed. She explained all the treatments and gave me tips on what I can do to keep my aging skin beautiful. My skin felt refreshed and revived after my facial. We plan on returning again! read more

Ends of nails not painted, old color still there, massage of legs and feet not a massage...weird copper colored tubs instead of whirlpools are uncomfortable and light, so you are constantly feeling like you're going to knock the thing over. I am especially appreciative of how kind and accommodating the staff is. I had an earlier hair appointment which ran way over making me late for my appointment at Emiline. The owner of this business, Thao, is greedy and not focused on the customer experience. I received a gift certificate for Christmas and wanted to use it this summer for a pedicure. I did not realize that the gift certificate expired June 13 so I contacted the Salon and asked in good faith if they would honor it. I was told that they are under new management and they would be glad to extend the expiration date, but I would need to physically come by. When I got to the spa, Thao told me she couldn't help me because the gift certificate was purchased under the previous management. Perhaps they should have changed the store name. It's unfortunate that Thao went into a business requiring customer service skills as this is something she apparently doesn't have and it will cost her employees business. I am sure she is pleased she saved $150 not honoring the gift certificate, but she lost a potential customer and anyone else with which I can share my experience.
