Love this place! I've gotten massages and facials here for at least 4 years now. I work a stressful job and coming here has become my favorite self-care method. Natalie got my skin looking amazing for my wedding last year. I'd always struggled with acne which was my biggest insecurity and now I don't. Calvert is extremely talented with orthopedic work. Two weeks ago, I tore my MCL and meniscus (grade 2), and received two e-stim/dry needling acupuncture treatments from her to assist with pain and healing. The next days, my knee felt as though nothing had happened at all! I haven't had to use any ibuprofen at all since starting the treatments. I had an excellent time at Calvert Rejuvenations. To me, it's in between a "no frills" parlor and the bigger/fancier spas, which made it the perfect place for relaxation and getting the spa experience without the hefty price tag. The front desk is so sweet and lovely. I didn't catch her name but she made sure to check up on us in their waiting (oasis) room, offering tea and warm neck pillows. I came here with my husband for a couples massage. I can only speak for my own masseuse, Leanne, who was AMAZING! She had a soft and charming demeanor and didn't make me feel rushed. She asked what I wanted to focus on so I asked her to work on my shoulders and neck and she definitely delivered. She spent so much time on those areas and was still able to get to the rest of my body. It was one of the best massages I've ever had! My husband had their signature facial by Dawn and he was raving about her. Not only was she sweet and friendly, I could see the glow on him immediately after his session. My wife and I had been repeat customers of Calvert for quite some time. Upon finding out I wouldn't be able to make an upcoming appointment, I cancelled 2 days in advance. I then received a call from Calvert letting me know that, since I cancelled 43 hours in advance vs the required 48, I'd be charged an $84 cancellation fee. After sharing how we'd been customers for quite some time and that the cancellation was due to a family emergency, Calvert still wouldn't budge. I guess their policy is strict, just like our decision never to return An $84 cancellation fee vs the $000s of dollars in future services we would have spent here? Ive been here twice and have loved both visits. I'll be out of the area for an extended time but cannot wait to return. If you're looking for just a facial, this is not for you! It's an experience. You lay down on a heated bed and prepare for relaxation. In the signature massage, a foot/calf massage was included as well as some neck massage and hand massage towards the ends. This focus on other parts of relaxation allows whatever treatment the technician has sitting on your face to really settle in. Additionally, there's no "reminder" email/text of an appt made 30 days prior. This would be a considerate practice from any good running business. After passing by some industrial looking buildings, you will enter into a magical tree and flower tunnel driveway tucked back from the rest of the world. Dawn and Carissa at the front desk are absolute dolls. The Oasis is a wonderful to spend some relaxing time before or after your services. The infrared sauna is big enough for two. Every massage therapist I have seen there is wonderful. But, the standout for me is Gudleif. She certainly found her calling with massage therapy. She is as nurturing as she is strong and intuitive. She finds your tight spots and knots and works them out to the extent that I have started her the Joan of Arc of knots! I have started to get dropped off and picked up after getting massage from her because I feel a floaty euphoria afterwards that I have never experienced before! My boyfriend and I came here on our journey to try out different couples massages and find our favorite. I wanted to LOVE this place, but for the price I found that it was just okay. Pros: Overall, the inside felt very clean and well organized which is important to me in a spa environment. The beds are heated (which, as a cold person, is amazing), the masseuses are very professional and ask where you'd like the focus, if you have any injuries, if there is anywhere you don't wish to be massaged, and allow you to pick your oil scent out of their five different scents. The massages themselves were very good and we both left happy with what we received. Cons: Although the beginning of the massage is very good and professional, at the end it feels as if they are rushing you out. They don't provide a warm, wet towel to wipe off the extra oil (or any towel for that matter), you literally just are expected to just put your clothes right back on while sticky. They also wait in the hallway for you with water at the end, so it's like you're rushed to just throw on your clothes and leave the room. They offer the water, but there's no seating area in the front, besides one chair to relax and take a second to drink it. Instead my boyfriend and I both just chugged our water at the register, paid and then left. This was by far the most expensive couples massage we've had so far, about $100+ more than the others available in the area for the same style (deep tissue/60 min) and we felt that it wasn't really a $100 more in value or service. read more

Let me tell you, both sessions were freaking AMAZING! My Reiki session with Dawn was like no other. It was just what I needed. Dawn opened me up and filled me with energy, love and light. Now about my Relaxation Facial, it was the best facial I have ever had. So relaxing, I feel asleep and was snoring The foot, arm and hand massage to compliment the facial was the icing on the cake. There are many options and add-ons, but your practitioner can help you choose what you need and what you don't. Products are top-notch and there is always some sort of special or sale on at least a few items. I also like to take advantage of the cozy back room that overlooks outdoors to have some tea or Dawn's Most Excellent Fruit Water (my name for it, not hers) and meditate a bit next to the fireplace on a comfy seat. I made an appointment for Calvert Rejuvenations as a birthday gift to myself. I have visited them in the past and had the pleasure of receiving a facial and massage from Calvert herself. It was one of the best facials and massages I have received. I wanted to book Calvert for my next treatment, but of course I didn't see any availability within the next 2 months so I decided to roll the dice and select "Any female" when booking the appointment. Big mistake. I arrived at my appointment and was immediately greeted. I was quickly checked in and shown the back where I was offered tea or water, neither of which I accepted. It's a very relaxed and quaint waiting room. I was then greeted by Natalie, who would be performing my facial. She was excellent. It was so calming. Between facial applications I received really nice shoulder and foot massages. It really made me look forward to the 75 minute massage that was to come next. Shortly after my facial, I was taken to a different room by someone else for the massage. She asked me questions about the level of pressure and if I wanted to focus on particular areas. I told her that I did want some focus on my shoulders and back but wanted a full body massage. It's here that the disappointment begins. The masseuse started on my back and shoulders. Instead of it being relaxing I truly felt like I was receiving a massage by one of my children, the oldest being 12. She was running her hands back and forth over my back so rapidly and walking from one side of the table to the next so much that I began to question whether or not she could keep up the pace for another 70 minutes. This was not a slow and steady swedish massage. When she moved to my lower body, she slowed the pace quite a bit so I began to have hope that it would get better. It did not. My favorite part of a massage, the feet, were only touched long enough to slather on a copious amount of oil before moving on. I kept waiting for her to go back. She didn't. When it was all said and done, I expected a wipe down of the excess oils, but all I received was a dry hard hand towel for me to wipe myself down with. Seriously, when I stood up I almost slipped from all of the oil still present on my feet. Thankfully, I wore a dark color because there is no telling how much oil I failed to notice and wipe off. I was extremely disappointed. The disparity in service was just so extreme. I immediately booked a pedicure at my local spa so I could receive the foot massage that I had been hoping for. At this price point, I need them to do better. read more

I was treated to a massage and cupping session at Calvery Rejuvenations. Scheduling: It was super easy to schedule my appointment. I actually called (to get a sense of the staff), then used their online system to schedule the appointment. I could not have asked for a friendlier staff and the ease on the site was just want I wanted. Location: Calvert Rejuvenations is located in this woody area. Seriously, there are tons of trees, a curvy drive-way, and simply just beautiful. I felt like a million bucks before actually arriving, all because the drive was so beautiful. After starting down the path to reach the front door, it's a couple of minutes worth of slow driving before reaching the door. Once in the back, there are several parking spots with a very clearly labeled entrance. Service: OMG! You must go there. Simple. The treat you like royalty from the moment you step in the door. Temperature and sound is just what you would imagine for a spa facility. Again, I received a massage and cupping. This was my first cupping experience. The technique was explained to me in detail and I have never felt so great afterwards. The added essential oils with the cupping did the trick. The massage was amazing too! Every part of my body, including my head and face was included. Overall: This will be one of my favorites and my top place for cupping! Give it a try and I promise you will be hooked!!! read more

We came here back on June 20th for a team building exercise for my company myself, a coworker, and our supervisors went out for lunch and followed that by a massage at Calvert Rejuvenation. All 3 of us had separate therapist and different services but all of us left feeling amazing and can't wait for the next 6 months to be over so we can do it again. I had Cory and did the 90 minute signature massage which was so relaxing and de-stressing that I actually fell asleep a couple of times. Between the massage therapist soft voice, the aromatherapy, and the music man if I didn't have to turn over i could of slept through the whole process lol. The room you are directed to when filling out paperwork and waiting for your therapist is also quite and comfortable with water and tea and after your appointment you go back there for more water and relaxation before you are ready to leave and unlike most places they do not rush you out. Overall I highly recommend this place and believe all the therapist are amazing. read more

I was looking for a nice spa to get a pregnancy massage and Yelp led me to Calvert Rejuvenations. Scheduling an appointment was easy and straight to the point. There is plenty of parking in front of the spa. Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed and offered some water and tea. The ladies at the front desk are very sweet and really set the mood for the appointment. The ambiance is very calming, it's a cute and homey space. They sell some cool spa products towards the entrance, don't forget to check it out. If you check into Yelp, you can get a $5 boutique card to use towards any of their spa goodies. I love that they offer complimentary Harney & Sons Tea, it's one of my favorite brands. The whole spa smells amazing. There are two restrooms in the spa, one near the entrance and one towards the back of the spa. Both restrooms have the coolest toilet seats, it has seat warmers and all sorts of other options. I arrived 45 mins before my appointment so I could just relax and unwind. I highly recommend coming in a bit earlier so that you can also fill out the necessary forms prior to your massage. There is a cute room where you can relax, while waiting for your appointment. The waiting room has soothing music in the background, warm neck pillows, dark chocolate kisses, granola bars, magazines, and comfy seating. My massage therapist was Brittney. Right from the start she made me feel comfortable and taken care of. She explained how my positioning would be a bit different for the pregnancy massage. From the moment she began the massage, I knew this was going to be awesome. She has magic hands! The pressure was perfect and she really worked out all my knots. She was patient, friendly, personable, attentive, and caring. I've had a lot of massages in the past, but I must say this was probably one of the best I have ever had. I'm hooked! Update: Decided to try out their membership plan awhile back and have been going to Gudleif ever since. I cannot say enough good things about her, she is simply amazing. Chronic back pain sufferer here! *waves hand*. Since I was 16, I've had chronic low back pain with painful spasms from cheerleading and stresses of life. Physical therapy was of no use, and I have managed with yoga and massage therapy, pain medication when it's really bad. Almost 15 years later, and here I am with a very stressful fast paced job, and carrying that back, neck, and shoulder pain along with it. Plus, I commute via commuter bus! After a painful back spasm that left me immobile for two days last week, I booked a premium deep tissue massage with Cheryl. Booking was a breeze. I had no troubles finding Calvert, and they have a free parking lot. Upon walking in, I knew this was it. The "spa" I've been looking for since moving to Loudoun county two years ago. Attention to detail from the cute Tea Spot, the retail displays, soothing color scheme, flowers throughout. Now, if I'm paying $$$, this is the experience I expect! The receptionist was super sweet, and took me to the Oasis Sitting Room to fill out a short form, and have some tea or water while I waited for my therapist. Cheryl was great. She listened to my needs, and so we began. My back has been described by my doctor as rocks. I've heard it all. Cheryl took her time, and really went slow working with the muscle, and not just roughly trying to work the tension out. Breathing in the aromatherapy with hot towels on my back may have been the highlight of my relaxation here! I'm also training for a half marathon, and Cheryl showed my IT band and hammies some love. My experience at Calvert Rejuvenations was incredible. I have a highly stressful job and never take any time off or do much for myself. I turned 60 on September 7 and I wanted to do something but didn't really know what. I used to go to Calvert many years ago for massages and still get their emails about different things happening. I had to reschedule a couple times to finally get it done. But yesterday I did it!! I had a facial, reiki, sinus draining, a massage and derma planing. It could not have been a more relaxing experience. I spent four hours in a place that was quiet, waited on hand and foot, everyone was so nice, relaxing and their blueberry water was out of this world. Even the lady at the front desk was sensational and even gave me a hug when I left. All my troubles and frustrations went away for 4 hours and I came home refreshed and rejuvenated and even looked that way. I feel like I look 10 years younger ! It may have been many years since I had been there but I won't wait that long again.
