I had 5 miscarriages and 3 rounds of failed IVF when I found myself defeated and had completely given up on the thought of having a family when I started seeing Jennifer for my infertility. Dr. Yeh is an amazing acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine doctor! She came highly recommended and I have been extremely pleased with the service. I came to see her for pain in my fingers, stiff neck and tension in my shoulders, and also lower back pains. Dr. Yeh was very thorough in her assessment and really does believe in hands on care. Dr. Yeh was very patient with me, explaining and advising me what was best for me. She walked me through every step and was sure to explain everything she knew I knew nothing about. I have stage 3 endometriosis and suffer from horrific pain and other (graphic) mensuration symptoms that can last for weeks and sometimes month. I have been going to see Jennifer at Sacred Lotus for acupuncture treatments since August 2018 and have benefited immensely from the therapy. Although I originally attended to address fertility issues related to hormonal imbalance, I found the treatments also greatly improved my overall physical and mental health. After six sessions of acupuncture with Jennifer Yeh at Sacred Lotus Acupuncture my migraine headaches (triggered by stress and hunger) have resolved almost completely. Prior to having acupuncture, my headaches would occur two to three times a month with each episode lasting for three days. Since I began acupuncture, I have been pain free for several weeks at a time with occasional light headaches lasting only for an hour or less. Acupuncture has also helped me with my knee pain. I am very active so knowing that Jennifer is able to help me continue with my current level of activities is a great relief. I'm not going to lie I was a total skeptic about acupuncture. I thought how much can sticking needles in you really help? Well Sacred Lotus is more than just acupuncture. It is a holistic doctor. Your first session is around two hours! The first hour is used to discuss ALL your health issues. The doctors ask questions and weighs in on things that maybe you wouldn't have thought of or thought were normal but can be improved. The second hour is your first acupuncture session. Try to enjoy the relaxing time you have to yourself and mediate, nap, figure out problems you've been working on. Just be prepared to lay there for about 45-60 minutes. You can also get a button to press in case you are worried about needing someone. After my session we talked again. I went in mainly for GI issues and back pain but I also had a very long list of ongoing health issues. The doctor gave me a diet, close to whole 30, to start and two different herbs to start taking. Immediately after the session my ongoing back pain of two months was gone. Seriously. Went from a constant pain around a 4 to a 0! It came back slightly the following week but not nearly as bad. My stomach cramping was also drastically improved by the next day. I honestly didn't expect to see any results after one session but I have. I am continuing to go back since I've felt better the past week than I have in the past two months! They do accept insurance but you can check to see if your specific plan covers acupuncture. They can also check this for you. I'm not going to lie it is a little pricy but when you are sick on being in pain, having bad side effects or no relief from medicine and your medical doctors aren't helping it's worth it! read more

At the time, I really wanted to avoid scheduling surgery and/or taking Cytotec to pass the products of conception. I found Sacred Lotus Acupuncture when searching for acupuncturists specializing in fertility. SGF recommends acupuncture as part of a multi-modal treatment approach for fertility. And after trying multiple unsuccessful cycles, I determined it was time to look beyond single track traditional western medicine before we started the next round of treatment. While I'm not sure if it was "taking a break" from IVF, supplements, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, or all of the above, it worked! We spontaneously conceived without SGF assistance. I'm so lucky to have found Jennifer and her practice. I have been seeing Jennifer for about a year and I go about once a week. I found her through my insurance company and am lucky enough to only pay $15 co-pay for each treatment. She treats me for a chronic illness (Crohn's Disease) and weigh loss. My wife and I are so lucky to have found Jennifer @ Sacred Lotus. My wife started seeing Jennifer during her second round of IVF treatment. I had read that pairing acupuncture with IVF treatment has shown positive results in pregnancy rates, and after our first cycle of IVF was unsuccessful, I thought it was necessary to try something new. I searched for highly-regarded acupuncturists in the Tyson's Corner area, and Jennifer's name was highlighted. Jennifer has been all that we could have wished for as an acupuncturist. She is sensitive, empathetic, and professional. She really goes out of her way to ensure the success of her client goals (e.g., making herself available outside of her regular operating hours). I started with Sacred Lotus about two months ago with tennis elbow (tendonitis), lower back pain, and knots/tightness in my right calf muscles which developed from a years-old injury. After starting treatment, the Doctor also noted that I had a "yin deficiency." I have now had ten treatments and I have noticed a significant positive difference both physically and mentally. My tennis elbow - which was quite severe when I started treatment - is now almost totally healed. My right calf muscle also is much less tight and has lost most of the knots that previously existed. The lower back pain is taking a bit longer, but it's a long-standing problem and I have noted improvement. I also feel overall healthier, calmer and more relaxed. The doctor gave me a Chinese herbal supplement and an eating plan both of which I believe have contributed to my emotional well-being. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Ye.
