I'm not a big fan of the doctor. Any of them. The way I see it, if it hurts either the pain will go away or I will die. Either way problem solved. If I get sick, it's my own fault for having a weak immunity and deserve the wrath of the illness. If it's broke, whiskey until it fixes. Man up.
But I had to get fixed. So a friend recommended Dr. Zhu, who is an MD and also a Holistic practitioner. Which is nice, because sometimes holistic involves whiskey.
Dr. Zhu is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly patient doctors I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She didn't push any of her services, but did discuss acupuncture and holistic remedies in correlation with traditional health care. It seemed to me that she wanted to treat the whole body and not just the discomfort I was feeling, which makes sense because my body is betraying me and I'd like that to stop.
It's just her and I believe one or two staff members, so it may take some time to get to see her, but it's worth it. Although it is just her, I never felt like she was rushing me or focused elsewhere. Overall, I'm impressed with her and her services. No complaints. read more
