This was my first time eating from the Emerson Fry Bread food truck. My wife and I both had the smothered burrito and it was very good. Their sauce and ingredients tasted very fresh. They were at the Central Farmers Market and will be there every Wednesday evening. Stop by and give them a try... read more

Emerson Fry Bread - Emerson came to my work today and my oh my the Elote was fantastic Elote is its Mexican Corn on the cob and it was yummy! - Food Trucks Near Me

Tried these guys on/at Food Truck Friday. I'd never been and was a little overwhelmed by all the options so we just went for the one with the smallest line. The food came out pretty fast. I had the "D$" which is fry bread with beans and chicken green chili on top. It had very little cheese and sour cream sauce which would have been nice, and they use a mixed lettuce blend which was weird (mostly arugula and spinach instead of iceberg lettuce). One of these "tacos" is from $5 - $7. Not bad but not great. read more

Long day at work. Missed the bus. Sweaty. Enter Emerson's. The guy running the show during their visit to Charlie's on Camelback hooked it up with some sweet bread after I had to wait a little for my delicious veggie taco plate and prickly pear lemonade - hit the spot so good! I'm surprised the food made it home before I dug in - it smelled so intoxicating delicious! And it was. read more

We came for Taqueria Los Yaquis and found that they were on vaca, so Emerson Fry Bread graciously stepped in to fill the void. They're good, but not Yaquis good. The tacos, although delicious, are noticeably smaller in size. The cashier was friendly and accommodating, offering extra guac and cilantro at no cost. The menu is pretty limited, and my wife wasn't crazy about her burrito, though I did savor those bite-sized street tacos. read more

Emerson Fry Bread - Street tacos, hold the onions. - Food Trucks Near Me

The Fry bread itself is fantastic. Too bad everything Emerson puts on it isn't. It's not bad, but there's nothing special about it. No seasoning. No sauce. Just a pile of bland mexican food tossed on top of the bread. Emerson is a regular at Food Truck Friday, and appears to have fans all over the valley. I suggest hitting up the truck for a good snack, but avoid the meals. read more

Great food truck. I visit them as often as possible. Also, I just had them at my wedding and they did an amazing job. All of my guest loved the food, especially the people from out of town. I highly recommend them for a quick lunch or dinner or any event that you are serving food. very reasonable priced and great to work with when planning an event. read more

Kinda of disappointed. The mutton stew with yellow squash didn't have much meat in it and it was served scalding hot so I couldn't eat it on the fly. Also, the fry bread was tough and didn't taste like Bluebird flour. read more

Very, very disappointed in this "company". We scheduled them for a school carnival weeks in advance. The day before the event, after many calls were not returned, they canceled. The school spent money on fliers announcing they will be there. We had to scramble last minute to fill the spot. They are very unreliable, Their Facebook page said they went to a different venue that night. They PTA president was in tears. I would never recommend this "company" to anyone. read more

I wish I had anything to say about their food... but unfortunately I never got the chance to try it. Emerson Fry Bread was booked to cater my wedding, and THEY DID NOT SHOW UP... They called an hour before they were supposed to show up and said they couldn't make it. WHAT TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! read more

I was so excited to try Emerson Fry Bread at our pre-booked staff event. We went outside at noon at their scheduled time to wait for the truck and they didn't show up. We called them to check in they just said, "All we can do is say sorry," without any option of re-booking or offering to re-schedule. They said they were double booked and chose to go to the other place because there would be more people there - they didn't even tell us! Horrible customer service - I would NOT rely on this company to book any event, as they might just not show up and not warn you. :( read more

I am trying not to think about my experience. I ordered the Jazzy and was about halfway finished eating when I recognized a dead cricket mixed in with the meat and beans. I took it back to the boy who was taking the orders who in turn gave it to the woman inside the truck. She apologized. No money back. Gross! read more

I can say I got my money's worth. The deep fried burrito was amazing. The pico de gallo with mago was amazing.

Found this gem at the Food Truck Friday in Chandler. Split the jazzy with my wife. Fry bread, steak, field greens, cheese & crema over top. Pico on the side. Homemade strawberry lemonade to drink. The food was bomb. Needless to say, we won't be splitting next time. My one small complaint is it could have use a touch more cheese. read more

Friendly and excited about his passion for food. Everything I have tried has been excellent. Do yourself a favor if you see this guy out and about. read more

Rude service people. Overpriced food. Was a waste of my time and money. They took forever and had no organization with their orders.

Nothing short of Amazing! Booked Emerson for a party at my home and they were the hit of the year. Delicious, and everyone of my guests went away thrilled and impressed to have had a Taco Truck in the driveway. I would have them again in a heartbeat! read more

Yummy! I had the beans and fry bread and the Sedona to drink - I really enjoyed it. I first found them via the Chandler Food Truck night. Looking forward to eating there again! read more

This of my first time trying them. I am hanging the MUZZY with carve asada. In airbrushing live the fresh green salad that they put on it. The carne asada is a little tough, in my opinion, some really good tender barbacoa would be great on this. Overall, this is a satisfying lunch. read more

I usually go to four peaks tasting room every Sunday and check out different food trucks. This has to be my favorite of the bunch so far. The dishes are extremely good, huge portions and well priced. When they are at the tasting room they take some of the 8th street ale and make a bratwurst & fry bread combo which is really good. The cinnamon, sugar and honey fry bread is amazing and a great way to top off a meal. read more

I eat here regularly for lunch and have had the burritos and the fry bread which are great. Last week they had a chili relleno which I tried for the first time and it was the bomb! Not your typical restaurant style, but still a truly awesome version with lots of cheese, meat and served on a bed of rice. They are always friendly and have fast lunch service. This is one of our favorite trucks. read more

Food and drinks are AMAZING and the staff are wonderful people. Polite and friendly. If you see the truck make sure to stop and try the food. You won't be disappointed! read more

Despite having been in Arizona for a while now, I had never gotten the chance to try bread and boy what a mistake that was! Emerson Fry Bread has a truck that comes to my job often and I finally decided to try it. I got the Yolli and the Kai Kai and was not disappointed. The bread was insanely fluffy and when paired with the beans and cheese I instantly fell in love! I mean it probably contained way more calories than I should have in one day, but it was well worth it!. read more

I Had the carne Asada on an Indian taco it was very delicious. I also enjoyed their prickly pear lemonade. I highly recommend trying out their savory menu items read more

Was really good! The special, which was the quesadilla with peppers and squash blossoms, was tasty. Definitely recommend.

Everything about emersons fry bread is great!! Their frybread is fantistic!!! The food is exceptionally great!! read more

I love this food truck! The gentleman running the truck was very charming and delightful but also quite serious about food. Everything was very fresh! I had the burrito bowl since I am watching my weight ( I really wanted fry bread though!). The carne asada was cooked perfectly and with the right amount of spices. The rice was fluffy and the salad greens were very fresh and flavorful. The salsa was excellent and again just the right amount of spicy. There was also a creamy sauce served on side that was so good! It was almost like a green goddess dressing. Anyway overall wonderful experience, the food was fresh and prepared quickly! The prices were quite reasonable compared to other food trucks. read more

Emerson Fry Bread is the BEST!!! I was shopping food trucks for my little girls party last year and found Emerson Fry Bread first so fitting (because my daughter's name is Emerson), but was pleasantly surprised as all of my guests were at the delicious flavors Emerson and his family created. I again, used him this last weekend and of course, the food was TO DIE for. Everyone loved the freshness, the cleanliness and the quality of service we received. Forget the pizza ordering and CALL EMERSON FRY BREAD!! I will use him for my parties as much as I can. Loren Emerson has a passion for what he does folks, and you can taste it in his creations. My neighbor enjoyed it so much that now her daughter will be using Emerson Fry Bread for her birthday party! Thanks again Loren!! You, Roxanne and your family are truly the best and very inspirational for your passion and hard work!! read more

Extremely disappointed. Bought 10 tacos 6 steak and 4 chicken was given all chicken. Its like they ripped chicken right off of a chicken leg or thigh and put it in a tortilla. It was so bland and flavorless. I usually go to Taqueria every other week but they weren't here so I thought I would give it a try. I would have been more satisfied with Taco Bell. This place is awful. I do not recommend this place. Wait for Taqueria to come back from vacation. Trust me. read more

I went with the street tacos and was a little more than mildly disappointed. While I appreciated the mixed greens and flavorful salsa and the green chile chicken was excellent, the puerco pibil was a little bland, although it IS a Southern Mexican/Central American dish, so I can't blame them too much for not getting it right. My problem was the time: I was told it would be about 7 minutes and it ended up taking more like 15. It's not that I was in a hurry, but when I got back to my office 3 minutes later, the tacos were cold. I get that it's fair to make customers' food in order, but it seemed like my tacos had been sitting there while everybody else's frybreads were frying, so people in front of me got fresh frybread and I ended up with cold tortillas :( Unless there's only one, maybe two people ahead of you, I'd just go with a frybread and wait it out. read more

Awesome food truck! I work right across from the Phoenix Public Market, where Food Truck Friday is held every week. I don't usually go to the food trucks since there aren't many gf options. Last week I went with a friend and stopped at Emerson to get a Sedona Sunset...which was amazing. I mentioned that I am gluten free & the owner told me they could bring gf fry bread if they have advanced notice. I messaged them on Thursday & they brought it this past Friday. It was amazing! I had it with beans and cheese. And of course another Sedona Sunset! :) read more

I will give Emerson good reviews on the quality and taste of their food but that's it. I give them lower than one star for operating as a business. Poopr communication and unreliable. They were hired for a large two day event in the fall that several thousand people attended and I experienced poor communciation the entire few months leading up to the event, including confirmation of attending-they never confirmed so I thought that meant they were not coming. They showed up on the first day of the event with no apology and I had to re-arrange our event set up for them instead of turning them away. The second day of our two day event they did not show up and never communicated this-even though they committed to the two days. I never got an apology. They were allowed to sell at our event and keep the profits, however per the contact, we did have a food truck fee. I still have not recieved this payment. I've attempted several phone calls, emails and have heard nothing from them. I don't like to write poor reviews, but I want others who are hiring them for a large event to be aware. Such a dissapointment! read more
