I was with another company who are making really shady claims and decisions when i looked up on yelp to see if there is anyone else who can help me. And this company is the one who responded and helped me out right away. They went above and beyond... Justin is the most amazing, helpful, responsive, organized and knowledgeable person in this business. He took care of us, guided us through the process and assured us every step of the way... even helped us with home insurance adjustor to get what was really needed, not on just what the insurance will want for us to settle with. I also wanted to commend Steve, our project manager for being honest and patient with the process. There are moments where i know he could have just let things slipped by without me even knowing but he was truthful on all the products and the outcome, he made sure we will be happy now and forever with the kitchen repairs. Also, i wanted to say how professional all the crew that came from start to finish, all were courteous, kind, hardworking and took pride of what they do. I even asked for extra work on some items and they delivered! I cant thank you enough. And will be recommending this company to everyone i know.

Ryan first came to do the assessment. Super informative and reassuring. Easy to communicate with for sure. On demo day, which was looooooong. Giovanni along with Nate and Raudel's crews were great to work with. They were efficient, polite and kept me assured that they would take care of things and updated throughout the process especially since I was dealing with all of this while my spouse was on a work trip. When I had my spouse on video call to see the progress, he said their work was clean. We've worked with other companies for demo but these guys were wayyyy better at it. When it was time to pick up equipment after drying time was over, Gio again kept me informed with what stage of the process we were in and what'll happen next. We still have a ways to go to get back to norm but these guys have been good to us since the beginning of the process. Definitely recommend!

All I asked him was, "can you help me get to the link where I leave a review."? But this employee went ahead and posted his own review of his own performance with the company and added employee's names whom I don't even know who they are. Besides that, I have not been able to contact their billing department about some concerns I have about their billing statement and concerns about their sales rep who assured me my flood damage at my house would be covered by my insurance. The sales rep even got on the phone and assisted in opening the insurance claim by getting on the phone with my insurance and not identifying himself as the Mighty Dry Sales rep, which I'm not sure if that's conflict of interest. In my case my insurance denied my claim, now I am left with a huge bill from Might Dry. My emails and my phone calls to their billing department continue to be ignored since 8/25/26.

When the insurance company predictably tried to nickel-and-dime me, Restoration 24 was a true advocate on my behalf. They handled the dialogue directly and got it resolved. Their subcontractor plumber was a straight-shooter -- evidence of the quality of their operation that the businesses they associate with are also 5-star. Quite simply, Restoration 24's people cared. Nothing is transparent or consistent. They are also extremely disrespectful in their written correspondence (addressing me by my last name and with no salutation, as if I were under their command in the army, e.g., "Hey, Smith!"). Apparently, this company's billing antics have become legendary in California (see Reddit, even just a glance). Our search for an honest company led us to West Coast, and we hoped the reviews were true. The good news is, West Coast is as honest as it gets. Askia came out and looked around the attic while I watched from the ladder. First, he showed me that the supposed mildew was some sort of harmless sandy clay-ish material. And the supposed black mold was just "lumber mold", an industry term for "stain fungi"--the common dark streaks in lumber that originate at the sawmill or in the forest, don't weaken the lumber, and are not indications of moisture. Who knew? Well, Askia knew. And he actually spent time convincing me that we didn't need their services. So do I recommend them to you? You betcha! An honest company is a joy to find.

I called and spoke to James during our cell phone conversation yesterday on Friday, August 17, 2023…read moreat 5 p.m. James was very honest in speaking with me when I asked him to give me a FREE ESTIMATE over the phone because it will be more cost effective for me and it will save me a lot of my time. James has a soft spoken voice and he was very personable and is a very experienced plumber. James told me he is the owner and he works alone he doesn't have anyone working for him. James is married with children so he is a family man and a very nice person. That is my observation of James when I talked to him yesterday afternoon. James also answered my cell phone call right away after the second ring even though James told me he is in San Diego, CA yesterday working on another plumbing repair job in his customer's house. James company is very busy and he has regular customers. Also James said he wants to save me a lot of money and I was really surprised by his statement, he told me yesterday afternoon, because usually when I have hired some plumbing companies in the past. These companies have been really greedy and they overcharge me for my plumbing repairs that needs to be done on my mom's house. It was a breath of fresh air for me to talk to James the owner of Home Pro Plumbing yesterday because of his Honesty with me. James quotes me the price of $189.00 for his labor in completing the Kitchen Faucet Replacement Service. James advised me to call the Moen Kitchen Faucet Company where this faucet was manufactured and ask if this Moen Company that has a lifetime warranty on all of their parts to explain to Moen this issue with my Moen Faucet leaking now. James told me that Moen will give me the new part for FREE and this Moen Company will ship out this part to me all I have to do is pay for the shipping fee which is a minimum charge and very little like $6.00. I was very happy that James cared enough about me to save me money. James told me that if I make the decision to ask him to buy a New Kitchen Faucet from Lowe's Home Improvement Store or at Home Depot in Oceanside, CA then it will cost me more money for the part and for his labor. James quoted me the price of his labor including this Kitchen Faucet the total cost will be $333.00. I told James that I will let him know what my final decision will be and I am still waiting for another plumbing company will be coming over to my mom's house tomorrow on Saturday, August 19, 2023 between 8 a. m. from 12 p. m. it is a (4 hour window) for all plumbing companies. This plumbing company is from El Cajon, CA. I was very satified with the excellent customer service I received from James the owner during our cell phone conversation yesterday afternoon. I told James I will write a review on Yelp today for this excellent customer service he gave me and also for his honesty on him quoting out these two different prices to me. I appreciate him very much.

Plastic was put down, furniture covered, etc. Then came "Team Dean" again, with Luis, Alberto, and Hermino handling the rebuilding of our floors, ceiling, paint, etc. And above all, estimates were provided and other insight for our insurance company and HOA battles. If you've never been down that road, this stuff matters. For those hesitant, I'm going to note that we didn't supervise the team. Remember what good customer service felt like? Sit down, because I'm about to remind you…read more Between November and March I had three different remediation companies in my home. Two were forgettable. Express Dry was not. Let's start with the basics: they showed up 15 minutes EARLY. I didn't know that was still a thing. From the first call to the final walkthrough, communication was consistent and clear, no chasing anyone down, no vague timelines, no "someone will be there between 8am and never." Before anything else, their first responder, Christian, did a quick health survey -- asthma, allergies, immune compromised household members? They came prepared. That meant a lot to our family and honestly set the tone for everything that followed. The crew arrived that afternoon, introduced themselves, walked through their scope for the day, and then proceeded to professionally protect every floor, wall, and personal item in sight before getting to work. They worked in 100-degree heat, in a garage tent with industrial drying fans blasting, and stayed until 7pm on a Friday night. On a FRIDAY. These people have my respect forever. Each evening you get a full inventory and walkthrough of the day's work plus what's coming next. PMs arrived every afternoon to check progress. I'm convinced they swept up every last speck of dust before they left, the house was cleaner than before they arrived. Shout out to Christian, Omar, and the rest of the crew whose names I absolutely should have written down -- I'm sorry, you all deserved better from me. Meticulous. Professional. Health-conscious. Hard-working. And genuinely good humans. No affiliation. Nothing in it for me. Excellent companies and employees deserve to be recognized, especially in today's service landscape. If you're dealing with water damage, a flood, a slow leak, whatever it is call Express Dry. You'll be very happy you did. ---- 3/23/26 Update 1 - Johnny just left, he was checking on the project, friendly professional, and guess what he also showed up 15 minutes EARLY. I'm telling you you're not going to find a better company. ---- 3/25/26 Update 2 - Salvador just left, he was making sure we hit 15% dryness across the project before packing up the dryers and HEPA filters. He also arrived EARLY, excellent communication, called to make sure timing was okay. He was friendly, respectful and informative and asked if there were any questions and advised next steps. I opted to leave their tents up so the next reconstruction phase of the project didn't get dust everywhere. Would definitely recommend this team!
