Our home experienced significant water damage that flooded the entire first floor. As part of the…read morerestoration process, all of the drywall had to be opened and dried, the flooring was completely removed and reinstalled, and the drywall had to be repaired, textured, and color-matched. We also had several decorative columns that were cut open from the bottom and needed to be reconstructed and blended back into the original structure. Because so much of the work involved connecting new materials to existing drywall and columns, I was very concerned that the seams, texture, or paint color would be noticeable after the repairs were completed.
