Bought a vehicle from this dealership, seemed a bit too good to be true at first. Bought a 1998 Dodge Neon, the second I get it off the lot, it starts leaking oil, after I test drove it and saw that it was "fully inspected". The owner is very rude and very threatening, I almost had to get he police involved. The first thing that he did when we politely approached him at the dealership to get repairs, was start making fun of my stepdads race, cause hes from the UK. Blatant racism and threats, then still tries to charge me for repairs.
The owner hung up on us when we tried to call him, and they refused to provide the "Certified" mechanics number to look up to see if he really is certified, which they literally said "Oh, we're not sure if hes certified" though clearly stating on the webpage for this vehicle that every vehicle was fully inspected by a certified mechanic. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
I'll be honest, at first I thought it was a dream buy, but after clearly being tricked, manipulated, insulted, and saying you didn't notice that it leaked oil, even though after driving it for about a mile, if any gunk built up over the leak got pushed out, then it starts to leak again, which would explain why it didnt leak at the lot, even if they did have oil in the car. But a certified mechanic should have run the car for long enough to make sure that there wont be any issues after someone drives it off the lot. Otherwise you cant really certify that the vehicle is safe for the road.
The vehicles gas tank was so empty when I tried to take it for a test drive, that it was literally about to run out of gas, I got to drive about 3 blocks, then turn around to come back so we wouldnt break down on the road. Which indicates to me that they didnt want it to drive for long enough to loosen the leak and have it start leaking before someone pays for the vehicle.
Its left a hideous oil stain at my apartment complex which is a pain cause it feels so rude to my neighbors to have it leaking out all over the pavement. It leaked so quick and so bad that about a quart or two would be gone in a night, easily. Every time you park this car for even a short amount of time, all the oil will be leaked out. So its not really something you could have missed.
I will add though, that the guy who sold us the car at the dealership (wont disclose name for privacy) was quite a great sales person, was amazing to work with, and I could tell that he didnt really agree with how the situation was handled, but it wasnt his fault, he was very kind, and helped every way he could. Even staying to talk to me after the owner swore and walked away and said "You handle this".
