Got a full set. 1st lady completely messed them up now I have blood under one of my nails, I came back in to get them fixed the same day, I specifically told them I didn't want the same lady, they put me with her. Then half way through her TRYING to fix them another lady came and got me she tried to fix them she did good. Except the fact they lifted not even 3 days later. End of the day now very impressed. read more

The lady did a horrible job on painting my nails and no matter how many times I tried to correct her, she still couldn't apply a clean nail polish coat. She didn't fully cover my nail and the polish was clumpy and uneven. read more

I needed a last minute set before seeing the boyfriends family and was pleased with the amount of reviews but when I got there the nail technician never really focused on me they were running around trying to pick up checks and I even had a separate person paint my nails so they first woman could go home early. The set that was put on was weak and cracked too easily and when I went to another place to get a full even they noticed it was a bad set fortunately my set was salvaged back home. I only gave 2 stars because they accommodated me on such short notice. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else that's better lit. read more

Very clean place and staff friendly. However the poor rating comes from the job the girl did on my nails. I got a pedicure and gel mani and both were terrible. The pedicure the girl barely even scrubbed my feet, and did not do good job at all. Not only that but she painted my nails without putting flip flop on?! Their process was a bit strange. The gel mani I thought was even worse. It had chipped instantly, and nails were poorly painted and messy. Besides the poor nail job, the prices were very high. 27$ for a regular pedicure and she barely scrubbed feet or even did anything to my nails besides maybe paint them. Unbelievable, will not be coming back. read more

Love the new space. Beautiful spa like environment. Love the music and that there are no tv's. I really enjoy that there is a front reception desk to check you in and staff to immediately greet you. I always request Simone. She does the best color acrylics and designs. She is very creative and really listens to you as you are describing what you want. She understands the length I want without me needing to constantly say "shorter please". I do a lot of typing at work and hate the clicking noise so she gets it and the length I need. She is super friendly and really great with helping pick out colors and fun to talk to. Recommend making an appointment to make sure she is available. read more

Excellent salon new & freshly decorated. All new furnishings and updated. More private and using all CDC guidelines.

Worst manicure EVER! Gel polish should Never chip, I have had gel polish 50+ times in my life so I know. Less than 23 hours and I have 4 problem nails so I return. They "fix" it and I get 12 more hours before a mess again. Don't waste your money! read more

TERRIBLE! I went to get a fill in and they charged me the same price a full set would be! I asked for everything they charged me for and they told me it was for my shape and length WHICH i already had walking in there! why charge for something that was already done?! Also receptionist is terrible at her job social skills out the window. read more

I was at Emerald Spa & Nails on 3/10/21 with my friend and one of her friends. The experience was horrific as the three ladies that took care of us did not speak much English and if they did they decided not to use it. I am an immigrant too and English is my second language. The older lady who took care of me was nicer, but the other two ladies they were very mean with the two ladies I was with. One did not stop rolling her eyes while helping my friend. At the end my friend wanted some nail polish that was left on her nail to be removed, but no one wanted to help and we had to leave. I will never go back to that place and I just want others to know what goes on in that place. read more

It's a nail salon. Nice decor. Clean. They use liners in the pedicure stations. That being said, I had a 4:00 appt and didn't get seen until 4:15 or so (they were short staffed). They were somewhat pushy about upselling which annoys me - no, I don't want the upgraded pedicure, no, I don't need my nails done, no, I don't need my eyebrows done, etc. My toes were polished fine. The pedicure itself was also nice and relaxing. read more

I have had two pedis here. Both have been fabulous! I had Angel once and Nancy once. I was really pleased with them both. Get the pedicure of the day. It comes with a drink and a snack The last drink they had went with their chocolate pedi. It was chocolate vodka and cream soda. It was yummy. The snack consists of fruit, crackers and/or sweets. read more

Excellent customer service, I always call ahead and get the gal that is my favorite. Decent prices and they do a wonderful job!

I'm new to the area and haven't really found a nail salon that fit my needs. I'm super picky about the types of nail salons I go to. On Saturday, I was able to walk-in and be taken right away. My nail tech, Vann, was really nice and did a great job. I got a manicure and regular polish manicure. My favorite part was the ability to have a mimosa, wine or champagne WITH snacks as part of my pedicure. I can't wait to go back for my next mani/pedi. Today is Wednesday and my nails still look really good. I've cooked, cleaned, washed dishes, changed diapers and not one chip yet! read more

Finally.. I found a place that is clean, super friendly and does a great job. The biggest bonus is everyone not only speaks English but understands it. I find it very annoying to tell the girl doing my nails something and she smiles and nods; then doesn't do what I asked because she has no idea what I said.. Angel took her time and did a wonderful job fixing the mess the last place made of my nails.. I highly recommend Emerald Spa! read more

Loved my time there with Christina. Got gel nails & they're beautiful. Really enjoyed talking to Christina :)

Wowza! This place is nice and accommodating. All of the staff are there to help you feel relaxed. They also offer wine, pretzels, and a chocolate with your pedicure! read more

This is by far the best spa I've ever been to! So relaxing, clean, staff incredibly friendly and professional!! Highly recommend for mani/pedi!! read more

Went here thanks to a recommendation from a family friend and I was not disappointed! Called and made a same day appointment for a full set. I arrived about 5 minutes early, picked out my color, and waited for my technician. She was so kind, and knowledgeable. She helped me choose the right accent piece for my ring fingers and I couldn't be happier. I agree that the place could use a little more ventilation as it smells strongly of acrylic when you walk in, but it's not too strong that it's unbearable. read more

I have been searching for a top shelf nail salon in the greater Ormond/Daytona/Palm Coast area for nearly 2 years. Thankfully I found Emerald Spa and Nails! Without question, the best in the region. The technicians are SUPERB and the quality of products (yes, it makes a huge difference) are top of the line. read more

OMG! I finally found a nail and spa place that reminds me of the one I went to in CA. The environment is nice and relaxing, the ladies are courteous, and Jackie does a great job on pedicures and nails :-). I am so happy and it was worth the hunt! read more

I love this place! I have been going for 2 years now! Never any issues, friendly staff, beautiful ambiance, clean!! I go to Ashley, but they are all great. The concierge girls Kayla and Sara are the best and have great customer service!! And when you get the bigger pedicures, it comes with complimentary drink and snacks. Truly a great establishment! read more

Went there for the first time today and absolutely loved it. This is the first decent nail salon I have found since moving from Pennsylvania. The staff was so nice and pleasant and my nails came out exactly how I wanted them (shaped correctly and all). I will definitely be going back. read more

I went 3 different appointments for the gel polish and all 3 times it peeled off in a day or 2, very disappointed

My wife talked me into joining her for a pedicure at the Emerald Spa & Nails Salon. She told me that this Spa had recently come under New Ownership and made so many awesome changes that they had to expand due to it's popularity. She assured me that I would love it and she was not wrong. From the moment we entered the Spa we were promptly greeted and checked-in by the Manager and assigned a specialist. We only waited a few moments which allowed me to gaze around the facility. Upscale and beautiful is all I can say to describe decor. The setting is so attractive, inviting and comfortable. My specialist led me to one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat it. She had me put my feet in the sanitized solution and explained to me how to operate the different massage mode of the chair. What? I wasn't even aware this was part of the treatment. While this "masseuse" chair relaxed me even more "Annie" my technician went to work massaging and sculpting my feet. I felt like I was going to turn to mush as the treatment(s) continued. This place was absolutely wonderful in every possible way from the Facility, the Staff, the Equipment to the inexpensive yet extensive Menu. I could have gone back for seconds but I'll have to wait until the next time and there will be a next time. Thumbs Up and Hats Off to the Owners. Great Job! read more

The nail technicians are great but The greeter always seems to be in a bad mood. I go to get my nails done to relieve stress so it is very disappointing to have to deal with a cranky greeter. Either teach the front staff appropriate customer service skills or ditch them. read more

I've gotten my gel tips and pedicures here for years. All of the nail techs are good. Their flavor of the month pedicure is always great.

Christina was wonderful for my manicure and pedicure. We came in for a bridal spa day and they were very accomidating. From the receptionist to the people doing our nails, everyone was excellent. read more

Went here last week with a group of 10 for my sister's pre wedding pedicures. First thing I noticed is that it was very clean, but smelled very much like acrylics. Gave me unsettling flashbacks of when I got bronchitis when I was in nail school. They could get better ventilation but it wasn't like, difficult to breathe by any means. So we were all brought into the pedicure area and asked to pick out a color. Which seems simple enough, but there were 10 of us. They weren't quite ready for us at the scheduled time. Was a little disappointed that we had appointments and they had like, 2 other ladies getting their feet done in tubs right in the middle. So our party was basically split in two. I would have had the other ladies towards the end so that our party could have been together as one. Seeing as it was a wedding thing. So, the area and tubs were SUPER clean, was glad to see that. I had a great calf massage and enjoyed each second. She painted my nails really beautifully. On the way to get my fingers' polish change I managed to trip over my skirt and mess up two of my toes. She took care of those like a champ. I even enjoyed a simple polish change. Having someone shape my nails and polish them for me for like, $8? Can't be beat. its been a week and they have not chipped but they are starting to look like they need a touch up. I ran out and got the same color today. If I lived in Ormond I would be here every week, for sure. I know that I will go every time I visit my mom though! read more

Just came with the hubby. We both enjoyed the Flavor of the Month Pedicure. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was great. Most of the employees were wonderful. The nail tech I got for my pedicure was not great. She was rude. Short with me. My friends were having drinks offered to them. She cut my nails so short it hurt and she cut me. I will try the place again but NOT that tech. read more

Clean place. One girl did a fantastic job on my nails (feet and hands). The other girl did my daughter sculpture nails and by the time she was done with her; my daughters nails were big, thick, and bleeding. They had the nerve to still charge us and my daughter fingers were red and hurt. They even knew how bad it was because some of the other people worked there and clients were looking because my daughter was tearing up from the pain and how bad they looked. The next day was my wedding and my poor daughter (23 yrs-old) nails were still hurting, red, bleeding stop, we had to put antibiotic ointment on them. When she went back to NY where she lived she went to a nail salon to have them removed, but her nails and skin was still bad and they said they looked a little infected and she needed to soak at home and put antibiotic cream on them or go see a doctor. It took almost 3 weeks to heal! A horrible experience, and you can see her poor cut up-red fingers in some of our wedding pictures. I would recommend if you go there, first find out experience and look at other clients nails and if they look good ask who did them. I gave 1 star for the girl I had since she did do a great job on my nails. I gave 1 star for how clean the place was. I could not give anymore stars because how that lady nail tech destroyed my daughters nails. Almost 3 weeks to heal, bad nail job, nails in pics looks bad, lady did not even care about hurting my daughter and blamed how they looked on my daughter and had the nerve to charge her after putting thick nails on her and cutting up my daughters fingers. read more

Not-so-great place even if you want to sit and contemplate the decor and read the ads on their electronic billboard over and over. (Do you think they get paid by the advertisers for keeping people captive audiences?) My first (and last) appointment there was 10 a.m--supposedly the first appointment of the day. I arrived 5 minutes early (I was told on the phone they did not open until 10 a.m. and saw no point waiting in the parking lot.), and their doors were open and the place full. I waited there 45 minutes while the tech finished another pedicure . Mine was rushed and inferior and chipped in two different places before I arrived home. I would not recommend this spa to anyone. read more
