Great way to spend an hour or so. This course is a bit more challenging since it is elevated (not completely flat like some others). Because of San Antonio weather, you probably don't want to visit when it is too hot and like many putt putt courses, the roaches come out at night when it is cooler. However, you can get a free bottle of water when you check in on Yelp! There are some small rides for little ones and a indoor arcade. One of the cutest and funniest things about this place are the animal statues scattered throughout but they are not all to scale. Example: a pastel snail statue near the first hole is taller than an alligator statue nearby. Some of the greens need to be replaced. Be careful or you might trip on a loose, worn away green. read more

Went a couple days after Christmas and it was pretty busy. The girl at the front desk was nice but once we started playing we spent a lot of time waiting for the party in front of us to go. The place needs some tender loving care as the artificial grass is coming up and landscaping needs to be done. There were bugs bothering us as we waited in some areas. We had an awesome time here! $25 for three adults was a steal. We ended up being here for about an hour and a half which was a great way to spend our Sunday morning. Military discount which was very nice of them to give. Landscaping was beautiful and we really enjoyed how challenging some of the holes were. I like to say I'm a mini golf pro but coming here quickly taught me that I'm not as good as I think I am haha. Lots of wasps around. If you're allergic like me, make sure your epi pen is easily accessible. There is not a ton of shaded areas but plenty of seating if you need to stop and relax like we did. The San Antonio sun was killer today so be sure to bring some water bottles but they do offer some snacks and drinks for sale as well. read more

This place is a hidden gem. For under $10 you can enjoy anywhere from 1-1.5 hours of miniature golf fun. Follow the signs for parking, it can be a little confusing. Their course is not the most easy but it keeps your playtime interesting. I also love the water features and scenery. It's very cool that you walk up to the top as you play and get a nice view of the surrounding area and a healthy dose of fresh air. If you are prone to hitting the ball haphazardly, consider carrying a second ball with you because the water features will indeed steal your golf ball. Also, don't forget to grab a pencil and score card. Most of the courses have fairly difficult obstructions so check out where the end is before you swing. Additionally, there's multi-level areas in one hole so make sure your precious group has finished before you start. There's a party room upstairs where you can fit about 20 or so people. It includes a freezer and mini fridge along with about 3 tables for seating and some tables to place gifts and snacks on. Plenty of space to decorate and enjoy a quick birthday party or social gathering. read more

Perfect family outing to satisfy all and keep the pocketbook happy for more than 30 years for me. I remember coming here as a kid and being enthralled by the mountain of magic waiting to be explored and the views to be taken in. Even in middle of a 105 degree summer day it was fun; going up the hill gives u a nice breeze and there are a decent amount of shaded areas. Of course it was hot but my 70s year old parents did fine and still had tons of fun. My young kids had a blast bc it was a huge adventure for them and a challenge that kept them focused and luckily wore them out, plus they have a bunch of arcade games etc inside & drinks/food to cool off and of course bathrooms & plenty of parking. My favorite part is getting to the top of hill and enjoying the views for a while from a shaded bench & strong breeze! Favorite hole for sure is the hole I have to fly over the water! Brought our kiddos here on a Sunday as soon as they opened. Highly recommend to go early because it's not too hot as you go through the course. There were several families already there but we didn't wait long at each one. There's a practice course in the very beginning where you're able to test out your skill while you wait. We loved the scenery throughout and it got harder as you went through the course. It made it fun for any age group. There were some where you had to be careful not to shoot it into the water but the staff was kind enough to let me take a couple extra balls since we lost them. If you're in the area, I encourage you to check this place out. It doesn't disappoint. read more

One of our favorite family traditions is playing Putt-Putt for date night or while on vacation. This is a classic round! The theme is a wildlife of all kinds kind of out of place at times but there is an axle tic mix of tropical and beach animals as well and safari animals. The course was fun it was very cheap, roughly $8 per person and overall a great value. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is that the holes themselves were not flush with the ground which made it rather difficult at times. All over the place could use a little refurbishment and love, but it was a blast and we are happy we did it! read more

I went here for a date night after originally planning to go bowling- and I was so glad all bowling alleys in San Antonio happened to be packed from spring break, or we never would have found this place! It is small but has a TON of character, from super friendly staff (they were running a one-man team, but he was the kindest and personally sized us for mini golf clubs with great accuracy. The place was busy but we only waited 10 minutes or so to begin (on a Saturday night no less) and only paid 9$ each, which is an incredible bargain in comparison to some other local spots which quoted us around 15$ and had 90+ minute waits. Small little place tucked away in the Embassy oaks area. We went on a Saturday evening after the sun went down due to the sweltering Texas heat! It was still warm out but we had so much fun we didn't really focus on the uncomfortable heat! The place could use a few updates as you go along to the different holes. There were some rowdy children at the practice area when we were in line to start hope #1. Parents weren't paying any attention to them. Over seated conversing with one another. Here might need to be a rule that kids under a certain age need to be with their parents. These wild boys were hitting the balls like they were at a driving range. I felt as if someone would get hurt so I had to say something. The girl inside that was working went and talked to the parents and they did settle down some. However the boys went through the whole course and with no supervision, I know this because they were behind us the whole time. We had fun and tried to forget about all the nonsense! Bathrooms were clean. They might need to sell water mid way through the course or let you take it in with you. We were in need of water about the 4th or 5th hole in. read more

This little place is darling and a lot of fun! A great way to spend some time together with someone you enjoy.Well worth it! A great value & so much fun! I was actually really concerned that it would be too hot outside to enjoy a round of mini-golf but I was wrong. There was a light breeze up there because of the inclines & plenty of shade as well from the landscaping and trees. Not only that but it has nice ice cold minty spray bottles and towels available to keep you cool on the way along the path.Well distributed bench seat and places to set your drink down too.I was pretty impressed with it all. Inside there was a few good games and concessions as well.Popcorn,cotton candy,pickles etc. A few arcade games too! All the equipment was well maintained and the course was very kept up and just lovely!! Embassy Mini Golf was the highlight of our twins' disastrous birthday. After leaving K1 because they were allowing drinking and driving, we stopped in to EMG and were helped by Tyler. He was so polite and engaging that he immediately lifted our spirits. We took on the scavenger hunt challenge (and won a free game) and started out on our first round. The course is creative and challenging. But I still managed to get at least one hole in one. My dairy lost her ball in the rushing water after attempting a trick shot, so she had to share her Dad's ball. One hole had a swarm of ants which weirded me out, so we rushed past that one. In all, we'll definitely be back! read more

Fun place! We went here on a Saturday night after dinner. It was dark out already but the entire course is very well lit. Cost about 38.75 for 4 of us. The holes are pretty challenging but fun. The family went here on a whim. Didn't have plans and we found this gem! We arrived about 4pm on a nice Saturday afternoon. It wasn't packed at all as there was a lot of parking. We felt the price was decent. We've played miniature golf at other places and it wasn't as "cheap" The staff was very informative and friendly. The course was definitely nice. I loved the different holes and the view at the 12th and 13th hole. The location is very easy to find. The course was also very clean and I loved how they they had seating along the way as we waited for the group before us. My kids really enjoyed us and told us they loved it. This place is definitely on our list for outings. Lastly, they have convenient lockers for personal items. We didn't use them but I saw them as we were walking out. read more

Ya know - it's funny what kids hang on to - memories that take hold... For some: it's movies. For some: arcades. For some: walking the local mall with your middle school friends - you get the idea. For me? I grew up LOVING to play miniature golf (although arcades were up there, too). I will always remember birthdays in Ruidoso, New Mexico, playing miniature golf and hanging in the arcade. Loved playing miniature golf with my grandfather as a young child. Seemed like every time my family went out of town - I dragged them to some miniature golf course. I've even been known to play by myself as an adult... The gal-pal and I played a round here about a week ago. First timers, and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look like much when you're just driving by, but it's a little spot of miniature golf heaven. The course is obviously well maintained - it's in really good shape. The course/hole layout and obstacles are fun and not too easy....you'd be wise to think about where you're putting; that's kind of a lost art in miniature golf courses. It also has a practice putting green...which quite honestly, not sure I've ever seen before. We had a ton of fun - and I will be back for sure! The only thing lacking - is the arcade, and the fact the place is just a bit small in general. In other words, not sure this is the place for a large birthday party. Seems like this place could get REALLY crowded really fast! Loved my experience, and I'll be back...probably solo :) read more

Main complaint is just how busy they are. It looked really cool and had great ratings online, but we didn't look to see when their peak busy hours were before we left and wound up leaving after playing one hole in 30 minutes... So don't go on a Sunday afternoon unless you want to wait. But it's cheap for mini golf and they have some good refreshments. read more

The playing surfaces need some TLC and the lighting at night is terrible - if you play with a dark blue or purple ball you will have a tough time finding them. This place is great and full of family fun! It's time well spent! The price is very affordable and the staff is friendly and helpful. The set up is SO creative and beautiful! You will not find yourself or your kids getting bored of scenery that's for sure! It was a bit busy and crowded when we went, so there was a wait time in between holes, but we didn't mind, since the scenery and weather was gorgeous! I would recommend grabbing a few extra golf balls though, since we lost ours to the waterfall, trying to putt across a bridge at one of the holes and once you start the game it's very hard to go back, Thankfully, a kind more experienced customer had extra golf balls on hand and spared us a couple. read more

I've heard a lot of things about this place. While most of it's true, it's funny that everyone seems to forget the other details of the less appealing side to this place, like how you can't really do anything but go forward once you start. My experience was very mixed, one hand was the fun and crazy holes layout that keeps it from being boring. The guy behind the counter was nice, and never batted an eye at the numerous free water/ice requests for my water cup. The other hand was a poorly thought out travel system for people with children who halfway through 18 holes and 2 cups of water might need to potty. You end up having to decide if you want to travel backwards a possibly interrupting other people's play. Or skip forward and have to restart over again behind the family in front of you. I suppose you could be rude and just reinsert yourself where you stopped despite the line of families moving through the holes. But I'm not like that and I don't condone that behavior. We ended up just going back the first time because we weren't very far in. A few families came after us and it was easier to start over than wait around for our hole. The second time however we were halfway through and the path up the hill doesn't have a shortcut back to the front so we ended up running through a bunch of other holes to get back to the bathrooms. I was too hot and tired to want to do the whole thing over again so we just moved a few holes backwards from 18 and finished that way. Not a very satisfying family fun day, with heat making us sweaty and thirsty, but bathroom access being level 20 difficulty once you've started the holes. Not to mention the holes themselves were pretty hard and my 6 year old was having a tough go of it on some of the twisted/slopped holes. I don't think I'd want to come back with children and this seems more suited to older teens and adults with better bladder control and game skills. read more

Embassy Miniature Golf is a wonderful place to have fun for a very good price. I went with my boyfriend for the first time last week. We had such a great time! It was easy to navigate throughout the course, and parking was really good. It was a very chill place to spend the evening, and the staff was so nice! The courses are pretty and so clean! Especially for being outside. I thought the animal props were a cute touch too. There were a lot of places to sit, so if you needed to take a break, you would be able to take a load off. There was even a nice gazebo towards the end at the top of a hill, so we had a nice view of San Antonio and the course itself! The only suggestion I would make is to have trashcans throughout the course, since it can be a pain to carry trash with you throughout the course. Other than that, it was a great course I plan on coming back to! read more

Great course! Hard hills. Not a putt-putt precision course, some holes need some power behind them or else the ball will come rolling back. They apparently have league putting here and had a dry erase board with teams and their collective score on them! Fun place. read more
