Every time I come into town I have to come to this store. Today I enjoyed the Oxygen Bar $10 for 10 minutes. Crystals, soaps, chimes, new Age books, incense, jewelry, music. You can get a reading by a medium, tarot card reader, etc. in a private room.

I bought some props for my Brainy business

Love the selection, the smells, and the ambiance. Would have given them 5 stars but for the prices--ouch!

This is probably one of the most beautiful B&N's I've seen. It's huge and it set up so nicely, so…read moreclean and neat and well-kept. They have a whole Starbucks cafe off to the side, which is always a lovely combo. Coffee & books? Yep, I'm there. Along with a wide sprawl of book genres, they have a lego section, puzzles and other board games, toys and fun things for the kiddos, and so much more. We spent probably close to an hour just walking around in here and enjoying it all, and it could've been even longer. The prices are still a little higher than is reasonable in my mind, but you have to expect that coming to a Barnes & Noble. They did have a few sales here when I came, though, and one was on some collector Harry Potter books which I couldn't resist. This is a great addition to the University Town Center area.

It seems small, but it has a good layout with a decent selection for all age groups I am shopping for. I grew up on the stores that had stages in the kid space, multiple lounge areas to "test out" the book, and no WiFi so students couldn't use the the tables in the cafe for hours at a time. With this set up, unfortunately, it isn't as inviting as they used to be. Never had a bad trip, but never wanted to take my time perusing the shelves. If I do not see something immediately, back into the car we go. 08.06.2025
