This isn't where you find aunt Sophie's old bed or Grandma Tucker's worn out dresser. It is more of a hybrid antique shop / used furniture store. Since most of the material is higher end, you will find it to be a bit more expensive than your typical consignment store. I found most of the prices to be fair. I thought a few things were expensive but I also thought a few items were underpriced (great values). All in all, a really interesting place that I never even knew was there. I certainly will check in once in a while to see what they have come up with.

We had been traveling for 13 years so had no furniture, to speak of. We special ordered a bedroom set with a California King bed, two night stands, a dresser and a chest of drawers plus 2 sets of lamps, and an outdoor wicker table with glass top and 4 chairs. We had to special order the California King sized bed because no one carried the one we wanted in that size. Florida Home and Patio were the only ones I called willing to do a special order. Their prices and quality are excellent plus they have really unique items with a Florida vibe. Service is excellent and with a smile! Even the delivery people were excellent and would do anything to make sure the furniture was set up how we liked. The owner even called to see to see if our special order was correct and the delivery was what we expected. Who does that anymore? I highly recommend Florida Home and Patio and I'm sure these will not be the last items we get there. We can't thank Laurie and Joe enough for the excellent job they did!!

My husband and I just recently moved from Southern California, bought a boat here in Florida and…read moreare living on the boat full time. It is our home. The boat came with a lovely marine sofa, which, while very pretty, was super uncomfortable. The marina we are in is right around the corner from this little gem of a store. We wandered in one day and was greeted by Latricia. She allowed us sitting rights on every recliner sofa we wanted and ultimately found the one for us. We had to buy a sofa that would come apart in pieces because the door to get it into the boat is only 23 inches wide. Latricia told us that some other folks had bought this particular couch for their boats, so we measured and sure enough, it would fit thru the opening. Added bonus- this is the most fabulous store in and of itself. It is so fun, and whimsical. Beautiful! We had so much fun shopping here! Thank you Latricia. We love our new reclining sofa!

We settled on a Tony Bahama Chair as well as some Lane patio items. For the most part when buying consignment be sure to inspect thoroughly, this stuff even though used is expensive. Just be careful as even the sales person may not know there is a problem. Quality control issues overlooked easy to do on used.

And then delight like a child in a candy store as walk around figuring how on earth you're going to either afford it all or fit it all into your home. There is so much more than just furniture here. Yes, they've got lots of furniture, and what they have is built to last. This is the furniture that you buy once and it lasts a lifetime -- or more. Most of their pieces are constructed of solid oak, but they can be stained in different wood tones to match any decor. I was surrounded by beautifully constructed, unique items that I have never seen before. Absolutely gorgeous. Incredibly functional as well. Look beyond the surface here, though. Children's pieces: wooden pull toys, high chairs, children's table and chair sets, rocking chairs, wooden trains, rocking horses. Other items that stun you such as rocking chairs (yes, think outside the box on this one), quilt racks (which is what we came here for), curio cabinets, hope chests and accessories. There are so many things crammed into this store that your creative imagination is on overload. Sales staff could not be more kind, friendly or accommodating. Shipments to locations outside of their general area is available; I was sure to snag one of their brochures so I could find them on the web to order items from them. Whatever I would pay in shipping will be well worth it because the quality is far superior to anything I have seen in years. It just doesn't get any better than this. Absolutely beautiful selection of incredibly magnificent pieces of art in the form of various types of wood furniture and accessories. If you live anywhere in this area and are in need of GOOD wood furniture pieces, do not pass them by. You will not be disappointed.

As others have noted, it is easy to find high quality, reasonable priced, good looking furniture at Pamaro's. My problem has been with delivery. The crew that delivered my furniture delivered the wrong stuff, and left a mess. I will spare you the details, but all the good aspects of this experience quickly went out the window. This makes me sad because we did not find any other store to be close, but what good is that if you get the wrong furniture, and your house needs a new paint job. Thanks Pamaro delivery crew for a poor job. Maybe consider this if you can avoid having them deliver, hire a professional crew since you pay for the bad delivery anyway.
