We had been traveling for 13 years so had no furniture, to speak of. We special ordered a bedroom set with a California King bed, two night stands, a dresser and a chest of drawers plus 2 sets of lamps, and an outdoor wicker table with glass top and 4 chairs. We had to special order the California King sized bed because no one carried the one we wanted in that size. Florida Home and Patio were the only ones I called willing to do a special order. Their prices and quality are excellent plus they have really unique items with a Florida vibe. Service is excellent and with a smile! Even the delivery people were excellent and would do anything to make sure the furniture was set up how we liked. The owner even called to see to see if our special order was correct and the delivery was what we expected. Who does that anymore? I highly recommend Florida Home and Patio and I'm sure these will not be the last items we get there. We can't thank Laurie and Joe enough for the excellent job they did!!

We measured the table and left the shop. My friend decided it wouldn't work in her space so I purchased it for mine! Lesli went above and beyond to make sure this exquisite piece was delivered on time and in perfect condition FAST. I am over the moon about Summer Home and Garden! In a nutshell, I'm always right, he's always wrong...just in case you were wondering. That being said, we're currently selling our rental home to purchase a newer home more suitable to our needs. Furniture shopping was on the docket and I was already dreading it...much like my career choice or a splinter in my favorite finger...you know the one . He finally bribed me to accompany him with the threat he's bring home an animal print sofa, tightened up my running shoes ‍ and Forrest Gump'ed my butt right to the passenger seat. Over my dead body would it look like we sleighed our furniture on a damn safari. He walked while I lagged shortly behind muttering under my breath about the immediate dread of this process, he opened the door to Bradenton Furniture Outlet where I was ready to fight for my life to find what we needed and not have to sell my organs to do so. That's where me met the most wonderful human to deck the halls of a furniture store. He was polite, knowledgeable and wasn't chasing after us like our bill collectors. (J/k about the bill collector part, but you get the gist). We perused for all of about 15 minutes & for the first time ever we both agree on a piece...a beautiful sectional ‍‍, to adorn our home and to make permanent butt prints in. Even though it was quite literally perfect, I'm a little OCD and like to cover all bases just like a home run hitter so I wanted to shop around. We talk to Ray, get a price on a beautiful TV console with fireplace , everything just felt right. Except for the inner child telling me to shop around. We head out and walk into a competitor store and it feels ice cold , like my heart can be according to this guy beside me when he tells me my latest Goodwill find is 'weird.' We walked around, it didn't feel homey, and sales staff just didn't feel personable. Maybe they were, who knows?! I mean apparently I have RBF but when I look at myself I just don't see it! The vibe was just off. It definitely was not the kind of Sales crew that you can joke about needing a rug for your other half's body if they don't agree with you on the couch to leave with. They would've literally called 911 and sent me straight to prison ... but not Ray. He would probably joke with me and offer to help me pick one the perfect rug for the job. That's just his vibe. Ray is a solid dude, great personality, like I wanted to hand him my whole wallet and shop there all day, except we wouldn't get much from that process. Maybe a Biggie bag from Wendy's or a lightbulb out of one of their awesome lamps. His store had numerous things we loved, great prices, no haggling needed and we were well taken care of...just like that McDonald's cheeseburger meal when the hangover hits minus the grief and immediate regret. I recommend Ray & the Bradenton Furniture Outlet hands down. I like Ray more than many family members at this point, that's how great of an experience you'll have shopping there. Please check them out for lamps, a new rug after that whole body debacle, tables, bedding, all of it! Tell him Kim sent ya, he'll definitely take care of you! Poor quality and NO customer support. In October we purchased 2 Twin XL mattresses to be used…read moretogether on a king size adjustable base. Delivery was delayed as Ashley said they received only one mattress and had to wait for the second. Once delivery was made it became immediately evident that one mattress was thicker than the other. I was tempted to refuse delivery, but was told by their delivery person that these mattresses, which were shipped rolled up in a box, take up to 24 hours to fully expand. Well, "full expansion" never occurred and one mattress remains thicker than the other. Ashley did nothing until we filed a dispute with the finance company. Ultimately, they have sent a technician to the house twice, and have confirmed, on both inspections, that the mattresses are different heights. Ashley insists that they meet specification and will not correct. This leaves one side of a king size bed higher than the other. Our recommendation is to not buy from Ashley as their quality is questionable, and their customer support is non-existent. Should you elect to proceed with a purchase, please inspect thoroughly on delivery and refuse immediately if there are any problems/defects; otherwise getting your purchase corrected will be very difficult, if at all.
