My wife contacted them as soon as we found out. The owner not only claimed they absolutely didn't do it, which I would expect, but also then demanded proof about damage. When my wife supplied pictures, the owner questioned if the pictures were genuine and demanded a time stamp picture, which we supplied. When I called to follow up not only did the owner not call me back (for over a week), but when I called back to reach him he was immediatly very defensive and didn't let me speak. He said someone else was supposed to call me back. He kept interrupting me and even after I asked him to let me speak and make my point, he got upset and kept talking over me. While this may be a small commercial dispute ($100) to get the floor repaired, I would warn others not to deal with this company. It is easy to be nice when you are trying to sell something, but If they do not take care of small items and are super aggressive when you have a problem, I am not sure you want to deal with people like this. It was clear to me that they created the problem, but even though we disagree, how can they be trusted to handle a large order if they act like this over a small item. There was no offer to settle, no offer for a discount if we bought something. Nothing but that we were wrong. The owner told me that my rental company volunteered to credit me for the repair, but the rental company didn't create this damage. It was not not their responsibility. It is Pink Pineapple who did the damage. Obviously, we will never shop there again. Shoppers beware.

The store has a nice, though chaotic selection and we quickly found a couch and a recliner we liked and were prepared to place an order. After we'd selected our colors and placed the order, the salesperson whom I believe is the owner advised us the recliner was not available in the color we had selected, it had been discontinued. Thid was our first disappointment. I feel PP failed us by not deleting unavailable colors from the brochire. So we ordered two couches on January 7 and were told 8-10 weeks till delivery. Near the end of February I called to inquire about delivery and was told they would ship March 24, meaning delivery would be 2-3 weeks later than expected. I let that go even though we should have received an update from PP I called in late March to inquire and was told the fabric we had selected had been back ordered. This really blew my mind. We should have been advised this when we placed the order. I know this is outside control of PP but their supplier should have notified them and I believe they did but PP dropped the ball. On April 7 we received a call telling us the couches were to be delivered on April 24. Good, but confusing news given what we'd been told two weeks earlier. However, we had plans to be out of the country from April 24-May13 and would be unable to accept delivery that day. We agreed we would call to arrange delivery when we returned home. On May 14 my wife called to schedule delivery and were told they had cancelled the order. PP CLAIMS we cancelled it which is ludicrous after waiting so long. I'm beyond disappointed and appalled at their inefficiency.

With the help of Paige, I found the perfect sectional to compliment my lakeside forever home. I'd had my eye on an exotic rug, from elsewhere, but I wasn't sure if it would overwhelm such an all-white room. After my sectional was delivered, my area rug arrived, but I needed accent pieces to bring it all together, so I called Paige for my complimentary service with Hudson's Interior Designer, Melodie. They came out a week later, took measurements, and we chatted it up about my likes, dislikes, colors, style, etc. A week later I went back to the store to see what they came up with. Melodie found the perfect tables to showcase the rug I loved, which were way out of my comfort zone, but I know sometimes you have to take it to that level. We played with some colors, styles, fabrics, shapes and textures, for the accent chair, and I finally chose the style she had originally suggested. While waiting for my accent pieces I made pillows to add some pop, and purchased a few more. The final pieces were delivered 3 days ago. I love the way it all came together.

If you acquire any furniture from Hudson's, strongly recommend you DO NOT buy the warranty…read more Hudson's contracts out the warranty to a third party - "Furniture Care Protection" and they have about the worst warranty service one can get. A piece of our purchase failed in under 5 years (a problem in itself) and Hudson's takes no responsibility. Furniture Care Protection has ordered parts and shipped to the wrong address, only to discover the part was not the cause of the failure. 2-16 weeks - yes, two to SIXTEEN weeks to get the next part. Furniture Care Protection is a scam. Hudson's uses that scam company to eliminate their warranty responsibility. Be careful - DON'T buy the warranty, and think twice about Hudson's as they take zero responsibility for their products once it is at your home.

Currently, there are 27 dealers; proprietor Love opened this business after her husband retired:) And it has thrived ever since. Not a huge antique mall (& w/ perhaps more non-vintage offerings than vintage), there are still good finds here providing vintage furniture is not your priority. Vintage includes the following: mid century modern odds & ends, Retro Kitchen, Rusty Relics, Eclectic, vintage costume jewelry, vintage clothing and accessories, & mid century, small Christmas decor, etc. None vintage categories include Fusion Mineral Paints & Finishes, Nautical & Coastal, Danish Modern, Shabby Chic and Farm House, Cottage, sterling & other artisan jewelry, artisan paintings, linens, glass art & jewelry, & beautifully crocheted clothing, etc. I'm positive I've omitted other offerings, but not intentionally. Mrs. Love, a native of Michigan w/ the accompanying accent, was very friendly as well as helpful. She has many years in the antique/vintage business. This clean & organized shoppe is in a small strip mall & offers plenty of parking. Will we return? It's likely. The shoppe offered far fewer antiques/vintage items than we would have liked to see. However, if we're in the mood to browse an interesting shoppe managed by a very nice woman, we'll definitely stop in again. And we'll bring cash; there's a 3% charge on every debit & credit card purchase. My companion was quite happy to locate a 1960's electrical blow mold Santa face (mint) inside its original box for under $35, & I picked up a pair of sterling baby blue glass earrings, as well as two very nice mid-century ornaments for $3.00 & $5.00. (The Christmas dealer has a year-round room here.) We recommend visiting this interesting shoppe-- who knows what you'll find! Four new dealers will be joining soon...
