Beach Bazaar has a strong presence on the SK strip due to it's size and variety. It can be broken down into three sections with one part being the souvenir side, the middle having clothing and surfing items, and the last part being kind of a women's boutique with higher end items. We went in a few times to get items for the kids to play with at the beach and pool. The souvenir side had a decent selection of affordable items you could gift to people. The employees were a little stand offish. We were never offered help and they seemed annoyed when we were checking out on multiple occasions. I'm sure it can be annoying dealing tourists all day but it's part of the job.

We stopped in here after having ice cream at Big Olaf's across the street. I'm not usually much for gift shops, but I do like to pick up stickers from destinations I travel to. I have since retired from snowboarding, so I use my old board to put vacation stickers on and to hang on the wall as decoration. Hubby reminded me to stop in here for a sticker since we liked Siesta Key. I'm glad we stopped in! The prices don't seem too awful. I thought 7 postcards for a buck was not bad, so I picked up a few to send to my friends and family back home in NY. I picked up a few stickers, they ranged from $1-2. My name is not super common, so I was happy to find a mini Siesta Key keychain with my name on one side. Plus it was only $2.99, score. I like that it's compact and won't take up much space. The store carries pretty much everything you would expect to find in a beach city tourist town. You can get hats, shirts, magnets and many other items to remember your fun times here. The people working here were friendly too! Location is right in the heart of Siesta Key Village.

Beach Bazaar is your standard touristy beach shop; full of random stuff you don't really need, but you want it because you're at the beach. So, when B was a bit over-served during our last visit to Siesta Key he decided we needed to visit this spot and buy some stuff. He was like a kid in a candy store who wanted everything. I had to talk him out of numerous purchases, but he still walked away with a t-shirt, some kind of ball that floats in water so you can play catch in the ocean, and some other beach toys, like a bucket and net. But, I'll say this for those purchases, they did come in handy. He still loves that t-shirt and wears it all the time, he and our friend played catch with that ball for hours the next day in the ocean, and we used the net and bucket to catch and release crabs on the beach the next night. So, although we didn't really need beach toys, we did get some fun out of them. If you're in the area and need something for the beach, or just want to check out the (mostly) useless stuff you don't really need, Beach Bazaar is a great place to check out!

Woot! Ok so I grew up vacationing in Siesta Key. As a kid the highlight of my day was cruising over to the beach bazaar. This place is exactly as it was when I was a kid. I mean the shelves seem to be lower but I guess that comes with time. It's basically a beach junk shop but it does the trick if you need something to take back home with you or if you forgot a beach item like sunscreen or swim shorts. Gotta love this place...

I visited beautiful Siesta Keys recently and stopped by Beach Bazaar to do a little souvenir shopping before my flight home. The cashier accidentally forgot to bag one of my souvenirs so I called the store and explained what happened to rep, Justin. He was so understanding and attentive that he took down my info and mailed my purchase next day! Not only did Beach Bazaar have great souvenirs, their customers service was first class! Thanks Justin

Cute and kitschy beach town tourist trap. Purchased a cheap pair of sunglasses and some other tchotchkes.

I got a little brass bowl, a loose, bulk type specimen, a nice sized specialty stone, and a very large display piece -- free candies, cute fortunes, and tiny freebie stones at the register -- for less than $250. I was happy with my purchase and my entire shopping experience. the selection is phenomenal. there are crystals at every price point from just a few dollars on up to the hundreds. a vast selection of tarot cards, statues, jewelry, incense... there is something for everyone. I bet no one walks out empty handed and I also bet no one regrets their purchase or ever feels like they were ripped off. we are tourists from California but we would visit Downtown Sarasota again, and if/when I do, this store would be among my first stops. five stars across the board.
