Breakfast omelette, with their incredible red sauce. Other sauce had a heavy kick

At first sight it's not very inviting and honestly the decor is not much better, but for a small town joint it's pretty good. In fact I thought the breakfast overall and service was great. It's not for everybody but it was exactly what I needed. Give it a try I bet it good for lunch or dinner as well.

They are everything you hoped and dreamed they would be, including ridiculously large.

Cheap, great food, open at 6am. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the lady was cheery when we walked in at 6:05. Coffee is good black and you can probably order anything on the menu without having to worry about going hungry. Tacos are ridiculously large and the filling was excellent. Lots of cheese, plenty of meat, and home made tortillas. The potatoes had a great texture to them and seem like they were from fresh and not frozen potatoes. The have a green and mild sauce that went pretty well and had decent flavor and kick. Now I want to go back for the biscuits and gravy or chicken fried steak. If you're in town and need some fuel for the AM, this is the place.

Don't judge a book by its cover! This place is great. The tacos are burrito size. One was plenty for me and I'm 200 lbs.

Arguably one of the greatest foods ever invented. Atleast in my world. How can you go wrong with bread filled with sweet or savory fillings? Hruska's is about halfway between Houston and Austin and a perfect rest stop to fill up on gas, use the clean facilities, grab a snack or indulge in their amazing baked goods. They are steeped in history and have been around for decades passing along the family recipes. It's obviously improved structurally over the years from a country store and looks like a modern gas station now. It's always pretty busy every time I have stopped in, but they are a well oiled machine and keep the masses moving with excellent customer service. They have all your gas station essentials like snacks and beverages. What sets them apart is their bakery. Here, they label their kolaches as the traditional fruit filled variety. I like them, but they are never my first choice. I love the ones with meat inside. Here, they label these as pigs in a blanket. They have a large variety of both. I usually go for a regular sausage and cheese, but over here, they sell a delicious pan sausage kind. On top of all their sweet and savory baked goods, they also sell burgers on the grill. Their burgers have made it to the Texas Monthly Top 50 burger spots. I have yet to try it. Overall, this is an always stop place for me. I highly recommend stopping here to stretch your legs and enjoy a delicious pastry while you're at it. I will definitely be back.

Not only is the house beautiful, the interior of the house is warm and inviting. Our room was spacious and relaxing. Our bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of bed. (In a very good way). The house has a great backyard, with plenty of mature pecan trees that provides plenty of shade so you can sit outside and relax. The property has beautiful landscaping, and really helps you decompress. Danni and Mark manage the B&B, and they live on site. Danni is very friendly and she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is is having a great experience. Danni creates some of the best breakfasts that we have ever had, and her creations could be on any fine dining menu. We met Jeannie, the owner, and she was very nice. We also met some great guests, and one couple lives near us. We really connected and we will be going to lunch with them in two weeks. We will definitely go back and visit on our next trip to Georgetown.

Staff was overall incredibly kind and warm. The place was clean and aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the Classic French toast with potatoes and bacon. My friend got the Burton Farmhouse plate. And OMG the French toast was to die for. It was thick cut and perfectly fluffy with a slight cinnamon taste. The potatoes were crisp and perfectly seasoned. The bacon was also beautifully crisped and salty. I had some of my friends pancake and also approved! The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars was because the coffee and beverage quality could be better. Coffee tastes a bit burnt and the orange juice was not the best but that honestly was such a minimal detail that I truly did not care too much about. Otherwise, this is the best breakfast I've had in a very long time.
