Today I go through their drive thru, and the same older lady tried to overcharge me again. I told her to look at the big menu board behind her, and she'd see their posted pricing. I think she did finally understand what I was saying, but instead of correcting the charge, she said my order was more because it had double cheese. I didn't order it with extra cheese, and she said 'I just add it'. I told her I wasn't going to pay extra for an add-on that I didn't order. She said 'ok', and took the order off the counter, and I left: It wasn't the amount of money for the overcharge that irked me, it's how this lady was trying again to overcharge me. They are known for their kolaches and pastries. They also have an assortment of goods including clothing, beverages, deli and a whole host of snacks. They have a nice store, it's a little more than a convenient store and bakery. There's all types of homemade pastries of breads along with a deli. I enjoy stopping here. It's just hard to pick out what you want cause I would like to have one of everything. Once you're able to pick out what you want the trick is getting it to a destination without you eating all of it. I have to put it in the back on the floorboard so it's out of my reach.

It's obviously improved structurally over the years from a country store and looks like a modern gas station now. It's always pretty busy every time I have stopped in, but they are a well oiled machine and keep the masses moving with excellent customer service. They have all your gas station essentials like snacks and beverages. What sets them apart is their bakery. Here, they label their kolaches as the traditional fruit filled variety. I like them, but they are never my first choice. I love the ones with meat inside. Here, they label these as pigs in a blanket. They have a large variety of both. I usually go for a regular sausage and cheese, but over here, they sell a delicious pan sausage kind. On top of all their sweet and savory baked goods, they also sell burgers on the grill. Their burgers have made it to the Texas Monthly Top 50 burger spots. I have yet to try it. Overall, this is an always stop place for me. I highly recommend stopping here to stretch your legs and enjoy a delicious pastry while you're at it. I will definitely be back.
