I had my boyfriend go pick up 3 brisket tacos for me and he ordered a brisket quesadilla for himself. The tacos had lots of brisket and were topped with red salsa and a cabbage slaw. There were lime slices served on the side. My boyfriend's quesadilla was HUGE and packed full of brisket and cheese. It was served with sour cream and red salsa. Our food was soo good! The brisket was smoked well and relatively tender. All of our food was hot and delicious! Now, I gave this place 2 stars for two reasons: first of all, the food truck was late. They were scheduled to be open at 4 so my boyfriend arrived at that time. Well, they didn't end up taking orders until about 4:20. We didn't get our order until 4:50 which is absolutely ridiculous. The second reason is that the food came in styrofoam to-go containers. The containers were not lined with aluminum foil, so the piping hot quesadilla started melting the styrofoam. My boyfriend didn't notice until he finished all of his food and we are not sure at this point how much styrofoam we ingested. Fix these two issues and they could have at least a 4 star truck.

The mac and cheese are also great. All in all, a diverse menu and yummy. The only downside? Turnaround time is NOT fast. I was customer #1 and my order took close to 25 minutes to prep. Quality food does take time but food truck customers tend to expect food a bit faster.

The line started getting longer and longer, the orders started getting complicated. But the two queens are professional. One queen was in the background manning the kitchen, one queen was taking orders and in between orders, she was calling out the next service number. Without skipping a beat! I ordered a bacon burger and fries, buffalo chicken strips and fries. I was wiggling with anticipation as she was getting closer to my number. Heart beating fast, palms sweating and my tummy rumbling. She finally calls my number. My life slows down and everything is in slow motion, she explains I'm so sorry for the delay, I will add a free side, what would you like?! Oh my goodness she knows my love language! I stumbled over my words at the last minute question, I said "throw in whatever you like!" Fam, listen... she added baked macaroni and cheese!!! Drooling I try to thank you and keep my cool. Unfortunately I can't I wiggled my happy behind with my food. I ordered two large strawberry lemonade's, my first sip took me to the golden front gates of heaven. I haven't even finished my food yet to get these words out for the Queens! Professionalism, class, hard working women with a line wrapped around the block. These queens brought forth a southern home styles vibe to a chaotic fall festival. Ambiance was phenomenal! I will call them to cater for my business for sure! For the previous reviewers talking about the food took too long, let me say this.... The food is made fresh in the moment! Have a little patience for delicious fresh food! -Paulina

It was all well seasoned and cooked nicely. Unfortunately the second time I tried to patronize the food truck, it was not at the designated location stated on the site. I drove to get a plate from here specifically and it was definitely out of the way. Quite disappointing. If I see them out again at another event then I'll see. But I can't trust they will be where stated on the site otherwise. Stars deducted due to not being at the location stated during the time scheduled.

I encountered this lovely food truck again at my second time attending the Peoria Arts and Cultural…read moreFestival. I was so glad they made it out again as I had a great experience the last time. I waited about 30 minutes between standing in line to picking up my order. It was reasonable given the large crowd at this event. Their menu was slightly different than what I remembered on my first visit but nonetheless, I ended up ordering the pork adobe plate and lumpias. Now, they offered 2 versions of the pork adobe this time around - the plate and bowl with the plate being a dollar more. When I ordered the pork adobe plate last time, it came in a standard to-go box with the pork, rice, and 2 or 3 lumpias. What I received this time was their bowl and no additional lumpias beyond what I ordered separately (9 mini lumpias). I was confused when I received my order but I wasn't going to make a big deal over a dollar difference. The staff here was great and helped me pack my lumpia order into a box when I told them that I was going to take everything home to eat instead of at the event. Many of their items were served in small paper trays so this was very much appreciated for them to be able to help me bring everything home easier. The pork adobe was exactly as I remembered last time; absolutely delicious and tender. Sadly, I had a big bay leaf in my order and accidently started to eat it as I didn't see it. That was a not so nice surprise. The lumpias were really miniature but packed a lot of great flavor. If I can buy them on a regular basis, I would happily do so. I hope I can run into them again soon!

Calamansi juice is a rare sight so I was excited to try it. Instead, I got a 8.4 oz grocery can where calamansi isn't even the main ingredient. Even worse, it was at room temperature when the weather was hot. The BBQ skewer was cold and thus not very enjoyable. At least the lumpia was warm and crispy. I was supposed to get 9 but I really got 8.5 since one of the lumpias was half the size of the others. Overall, I had better value for food at other food trucks.

First off!!!!! This place makes some great food!! I ordered the Tomahawk Steak! $185... Wow. Best…read moresteak . Better than Maestro's in Scottsdale! Yes you heard me right! I can't believe how good the flavors are... To be honest I'm still blown away by the fact this is in Downtown Buckeye!!! Definitely the best place in Buckeye to eat. Service was good.. our server was a wonderful young lady. Was pretty prompt on responding to the table. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RESERVATION!!!! It's obvious that this place does one hell of a business. With that said they definitely need to expand. The chairs were pretty comfortable. Descent space between tables. My only complaint.... TURN THE FLIPPING MUSIC DOWN!!! It's a restaurant not a night club. If you expect people to spend $200 for a steak then allow people to talk at the table. Music should be a back ground. Not a competition between the guests at my table!! The manger lady. Super nice. Seems to run a tight ship. Would definitely hire her away if I owned a Restaurant.. She has the passion to drive the business!! Over all, we just loved this place. Amazing food, staff and ( next door Gelato) have truly been a huge impact downtown... I'm thankful to say Buckeye finally has a great place to eat. We will be back for sure! ( HOPEFULLY WITH MUSIC TURNED DOWN A BIT) Keep up the Great job! Thank you

In addition, they brought out a nice little salsa tray, and the hot salsa was so good! Tons of flavor! Awesome place! Check it out!
