I brought my cat to Ennis Veterinary Clinic at approximately 5.30 p.m. because she was actively having seizures. Although the clinic was still open (closes at 6), I felt there was very little urgency to evaluate or treat her. Blood was drawn, but throughout the visit, the atmosphere felt unprofessional. Some of the staff appeared to be joking while my cat was in a medical emergency, and I was left feeling as though her condition was an inconvenience rather than something requiring immediate and urgent attention. This was especially heartbreaking because it wasn't the first time I had sought help. Days earlier, I brought my cat in after a bump was noticed near her eye where her stitches were removed . Looking back, I wish additional diagnostics, such as imaging, had been discussed or recommended or even offered. I can't know for certain what would have changed, but I will always wonder whether earlier intervention could have made a difference. What hurt me most wasn't only the outcome. It was the lack of compassion, of urgency, of empathy. People bring their pets to a veterinarian and they're placing their trust in a team during one of the scariest moments they may ever face. They deserve kindness, clarity, and confidence that everything reasonably possible is being done. In my experience, this clinic may run an efficient business, but I left feeling that the compassion and urgency I expected from a veterinary practice were missing. I sincerely hope this review encourages reflection, not only on how patients are treated, but... on the families who love them.

You made your choice to schedule an appointment knowing that and sat in the waiting area for a while were no one else wore one... then you flipping out, lectured the doctor and storming out.. it was uncalled for. Her advice was simply to wait and see how the second injection goes. Simply speaking to the vet was considered an "exam" versus a consult and I was charged an additional $54! I need a that actually cares about my companion versus taking money from their patients.
