This is hands down the best consignment store in DC! I consign all of my things here and within DAYS they are sold. I even sold my Louis Vuitton suitcase for top dollar!! Krista is the hardest working, sweetest girl I know and she has done a fantastic job with Ella-Rue in only a few months. I absolutely adore this store. They have a great selection of high end designer brands and an excellent range of sizes (clothing and shoes). All styles are current and in great condition. The boutique is small, and can be a bit overwhelming, but Krista and Alexa are so inviting! 1st time in and walking out I already know their names. Customer service is beyond compare. As a follower of Ella-Rue's instagram, I was floored to see a pair of Louboutin Pigalles in a 37.5. When I called, Alexa answered and helped me purchase them over the phone before they got snatched up. The shoes were gently used but still in great condition, with original box from Bergdorf's and duster, and for a very fair price. This store is a great example as to how high-end consignment should be conducted. Beautiful store, fantastic customer service. Ella Rue is by far the best consignment boutique in the DC area if you are looking for designer, perfect condition, handbags, shoes and clothing. It's well organized, the gals are super friendly, unpretentious and helpful, and the prices are fantastic. Their inventory always seems to be fresh and seasonal. It's a small place so they seem very selective in what they take in for merchandise. I needed to find a black cocktail dress for an event and was able to find a $200+ dress (price tag still on) for $20 dollars on the "$20 rack" which is located on the sidewalk. This fantastic find peaked my interest so I came back when I needed a New Year's Eve party dress. I found a $150+ dress for $62! I have a bit of extra cash so I'm planning on stopping by this weekend. The selection is great! Unicorns, warm fuzzies, and rainbows-this place is really as good as it gets. The owner took a ton of time helping me pick out numerous outfits to try on. Despite the high end labels, there was nothing high end about the attitude of the staff-they were friendly, and hospitable. One of their regulars stopped in just to say hello, and after she left, the staff said how wonderful this person was, and how happy they are she's a regular. It's always refreshing to hear speak positively about their customers. The owner told me right before check out, that she didn't care if I didn't buy anything again, just come by next time I was in the area to say hi to her-how sweet.
