What really made the night stand out, though, was the owner. They were present throughout the entire event and constantly checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly. They made sure my daughter, my family, and all of our guests were having a great time. That level of care and attentiveness meant so much and helped the entire night run stress-free. She was onsite and able to respond quickly when needed. The facility was clean and charming, just what you'd want from a historic home. The gardens, where we spend most of our time, were well manicured and beautiful. The ballroom area was cool and perfect for dancing and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with cleaning supplies. Will definitely book here again, maybe a wedding next!?

The venue provided so many items- plates, utensils, tables, chairs and linens- which is great- a few less things to think of! They also provided a vendor list in which I used 2 vendors from - great experience with both! On the day of , the staff was ready and professional at all times. I had to move out the start time by an hour and they were quick to adjust. Throughout the night they cleaned up and were ready for the next item- cake cutting- late night snack. Ultimately, we paid far too much for food that was removed HOURS before the party was over (I found the staff helping themselves with no intention of bringing it back out), we paid for double protein servings for 55 and barely fed 35 before it all disappeared, we prepaid for alcohol (or they charge you $500 for use of the bar AND for the individual drinks), and someone took off with the birthday cake and that had to be tracked down. My mom had a good time, but it's hard not to feel completely ripped off by this process. Next time, it'll be anywhere but here. Very pretty venue, but the service just wasn't what we paid for at all.

No need to cross the street, just walk over to the nearby parking structure. Great suggestion. The only issue I noticed was with the bathrooms - they need improvement. The guest bathrooms don't match the nice overall look of the place. Additionally, one of the doorknobs wasn't working properly, which compromised privacy. My suggestion is to install locks and replace the doors. My sister had to keep the door open for me because it wouldn't lock.
