We had about 100 people for the celebration and we decorated the place and set up a photo drop by the bathroom. Our package had dinner and we brought our own cake. If people wanted alcohol it was on their own. The food was good, it was simple and tasty. The interior has lots of charm, it has warm woodbeam ceilings. This place used to be a bank and was built in the 1920s. I believe it can accommodate close to 200 people. I would say 150 is a pretty sweet number. Since it's an older building it does not have an elevator. However they do have those seats that gets you up and downstairs from those 90s era. We brought our own DJ ans decor, unlike places which only allow you to choose their own. Small Bathroom upstairs and a regular men's and women's downstairs. There's a bar in the back with top shelve selections. Food came out quickly and the night I do want to give props to Art and the team here. He made sure everything went smooth for us at the retirement party. From start to finish. He even made sure we had a parking spot since we were the MC of the night. So if you are looking for a place to celebrate, don't hesitate to look here as a one of your choices.

Let's look at what time the venue actually opened, because YOU were the ones who opened late. Let's count every single plate that left the kitchen and determine whether YOU actually served 230 plates before 6:30 p.m. Let's also review the way YOUR waitresses treated us and our guests. Let's look at the facts. All of this happened at YOUR venue. We have never denied working with a party planner. In fact, we mentioned Josue several times in our review. However, regardless of who we worked with during the planning process, the problems we experienced occurred at YOUR establishment. As the business owner, I would have expected you to take some accountability and, at the very least, offer an apology for what happened at your venue. Instead, the responsibility continues to be shifted elsewhere. YOUR venue is the one receiving the negative reviews and developing a bad reputation because of these experiences. Perhaps it is time to reevaluate who you allow to represent your business, rather than continuing to blame everyone else for what went wrong. I also encourage people to do their own research before booking this venue or making a decision. Public court records are available for people to review. One publicly stated set of allegations describes claims involving breach of written contract, fraud, civil conspiracy, conversion, and constructive trust related to event-planning services and alleged financial losses after a venue was reportedly not provided as promised. These are allegations, not proof of wrongdoing, but I believe people deserve the opportunity to review public records and make informed decisions before trusting a business with one of the most important celebrations of their lives. Our beloved cousins quinceañera was supposed to be a beautiful, unforgettable memory for our family. Unfortunately, the experience we had at Saleh's Palace was filled with stress, disappointment, and problems that should never have occurred on such an important day. The staff was friendly and the bartender was awesome. The process of booking and making payments was easy. Considering how expensive venues can be, this was perfect and very affordable. The venue on the first floor is quaint with such a beautiful old vintage feel. The room already looks "dressed up" so your decor can be minimal. The set-up was perfect for 100 guest, mariachi, and a DJ.

I've been coming to weddings and hokujashes (Armenian memorial luncheons) here since it opened more…read morethan forty years ago. The first time I came here was for my older cousin Diane's wedding. It was 1982, I was five, and I vaguely believed that my cousin was a princess because her wedding dress resembled Princess Di's in my mind. The ceremony itself was in the (then new) Holy Cross Cathedral, which shares its parking lot with Bagramian Hall (the cathedral is also a prominent location in the movie Sideways). And then afterward, we walked up the cool weird gradual steps to this brand-new and gigantic hall. It was bigger and fancier than anything I had ever seen. That was the first of at least ten weddings I would attend here before I turned forty, and later, it hosted the memorial luncheons for various friends and family members, including those for my aunt, grandmother, and great aunt. It's also the first place I ever attended a wedding (another older cousin's) with more than 500 guests. I have so many fond memories of helping sweep up the shabash (money) that guests throw when people are dancing, and since I first came here as a five-year-old and never stopped returning, I grew up in a sense as an Armenian party-goer here. They did major renovations to the interior in the early 2010s, so it doesn't look as dated as it did even by the late '80s. I do miss some of the ridiculously tacky furnishings inside, especially the huge blocky railings and steps and the strange decorations behind what was originally where the head table was, before they moved it down by the dance floor, before they moved it back to its original location. Some of the renovations themselves are starting to look early-2000s dated as well, but it still looks nicer than it did when it first opened. The south wall used to be dominated by floor-to-ceiling windows with French doors. There were huge ugly curtains covering it most of the time, because of the sun, but it was really neat because you could walk out directly from the hall itself outside to a kind of concrete porch that had its own set of gradual long steps down to the cathedral. When they renovated the hall, they replaced the glass with a normal wall. It makes the hall look darker (during the day) and smaller, although it's the same size. As kids, we loved those doors, because people used to go outside to get a breath of fresh air or to smoke--although smoking was originally allowed inside the hall until the laws changed in the 1990s--and we kids would exit through those doors (if they weren't locked, which they often were) and reenter through the lobby, or vice versa. When I come here now, everything looks smaller, from the parking lot to the restrooms to the dance floor to the interior of the hall itself. Growing up has a way of changing a person's perspective, but there's still a little bit of wonder I have when I come here. I can remember generally where I sat at a bunch of different people's weddings, and there are a dozen stories I want to tell but won't. Although every event I've attended here has had some relationship to the affiliated cathedral and/or the Armenian community, I know that the hall also hosts New Year's Eve, birthday parties, bingo nights, banquets, and fundraisers. It's a very large space, and although it's modular in the sense that they can set up as few tables as you need and it can still look nice, it's probably not worth it unless you're expecting hundreds of guests. There's also a much smaller banquet room in the same building with its own separate entrance from the parking lot. It used to be called Toumajian Hall, but when I was here a couple weeks ago, the sign read TOUMAJIAN YOUTH CENTER, so I'm not sure whether it's still rentable outside of church-related events. I've been to hokujashes and birthday parties there; the two halls are connected physically through the kitchen, which both spaces share.

They require a licensed caterer and bar personnel and will provide some of their previous caterers if you ask. The contract for the venue does say no children, but if you talk to the person in charge beforehand this is not an issue (the contract states this). We had multiple children at our wedding and there were no issues at all. Overall working with Bagramian Hall was easy, very clear, and everything was well taken care of. If there are no events the day before your event, you can even start setup early. Sidenote: It's true, weddings only!

We got to choose from their preferred vendor list and there were a good amount of options (photography, floral, bakery, DJ). The menu tasting was delicious and LeeAnn once again made the experience enjoyable. The day of our wedding was rather stress free! Vendors arrived on time, and Banquet captains Chris and Sam ran the event smoothly and were so professional and thoughtful. They made us feel like VIPs. Our guests later complimented that it was the best wedding food they've had and that the venue was beautiful. We highly recommend Summit House as a wedding venue!

While this is a lovely venue, I can't say much about the food being served. I opted for the meat but no one asked for preference of how I or anyone at or table, would like it cooled. We all received raw and bloody meat. Out of politeness, I didn't send it back but ate the bland mashed potatoes and 2 vegetables it came with , but some guests at my table sent it and the meat came back burned. Legitimately, nothing was edible which was unfortunate but maybe the restaurant can take note of this nasty looking meat they served.
