Based on our experience, we feel completely taken advantage of. Josue and his team handled our event very poorly and we left extremely disappointed. We had an event yesterday for approximately 230 guests and these were some of the major issues we experienced: 1. Tables/seating were changed without notice. The day before the event, we went to the venue and saw two tables that had 14 seats each. We planned our seating chart based on the setup they showed us. When we arrived on the day of the event, those tables only had 10 seats each, with no prior notice. We were told the owners no longer allowed 14-seat tables. As a result, 8 of our guests had nowhere to sit and those seats were not properly accommodated at other tables. 2. They ran out of food despite our confirmed guest count. During the event, Josue told us they had served 230 plates and were out of food. We had approximately 15 confirmed guests who did not show up, plus the 8 guests who were affected by the seating issue. So how did they run out of food? We also brought pizzas specifically for the kids. The numbers simply did not make sense to us. 3. We were asked to pay for additional food in front of our guests. This was one of the most embarrassing parts of the entire experience. We were told, "We ran out of food, but the chef is here and he brought extra food, but you have to pay him." We made our payment to Josue's husband (why would we have to pay him?) If additional food was needed, there should have been a professional and discreet way to handle that--not approach us about additional payment in front of our guests. 4. "Valet parking included" was misleading. We were told valet parking was included, but we were never clearly informed that it was limited to a very small parking area. Once those spots were full, guests were expected to park their own cars. This should have been clearly disclosed beforehand. 5. Only one bartender. For an event of approximately 230 people, having only one bartender resulted in very long lines and unnecessary delays at the bar. 6. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately, several staff members were rude when guests asked for assistance. There was also a woman who Josue said had been sent by the owners, and from the moment we arrived, her attitude toward us was extremely rude and unwelcoming. 7. We were charged additional money for the TVs. Our contract included four TVs to display photos during the event. Later, we were told that we needed to pay an additional fee to use them and there was no guarantee that they would work.This was not what we understood from the contract, and any additional charges should have been clearly disclosed before the event. We spent a significant amount of money to celebrate an important occasion with our family and friends. Instead of being able to enjoy the day, we spent a large portion of the event dealing with problems that should never have happened. PLEASE, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BOOKING THIS VENUE. I am sharing our experience so other families can ask the right questions and know exactly what they are paying for before signing a contract. We expected professionalism, transparency, and proper service. Unfortunately, that is not what we experienced.

She was onsite and able to respond quickly when needed. The facility was clean and charming, just what you'd want from a historic home. The gardens, where we spend most of our time, were well manicured and beautiful. The ballroom area was cool and perfect for dancing and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with cleaning supplies. Will definitely book here again, maybe a wedding next!?

Fast forward to 2026 I booked theyre venue again to host my oldest daughter Quinceñeara and went with theyre largest room "The Grand Theater" it was a no doubter to book with The Rose Gardens because theyre service is a 10/10. This time around I worked directly with the owner Elizabeth who was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process making the experience memorable. Theyre food catering options are tasteful and guests kept complimenting it along with the hosted bar the drinks were great. We did have an incident with one of the vendors we booked 3rd party which security handled it professionally and had them removed at our discretion. My only "feedback" is that they don't offer the use of the booked room days before in this case for a XV to practice the waltz and surprise dances to ensure everything goes accordingly the day of, however Elizabeth did make a accommodation however the timeline didnt align with my schedule. DO NOT book Anthony Barr! My mom used him for her birthday party on 08/03/2024. He showed up 2 1/2…read morehours late the day of her party. One of his vendors broke some of the lights for the entry way and Anthony told my mom he would refund some of the money. He never refunded her and disappeared and was not answering the phone. He also charged her for luxury balloons and they were all supposed to be shiny, but a lot of them were dull even though she paid for luxury balloons. He also charged her for a crew of 4 people to clean up after the party, but he only provided one person. Anthony and one other guy cleaned up after the party. In addition, my mom asked for white flowers and he gave her pink flowers and they immediately wilted. You could tell that the flowers were not fresh. Anthony told my mom that he would discuss the refund with her the following day on 08/04/2024. My mom didn't hear back from him so she gave it about a week and then she tried contacting him a few times and he would not return her phone calls or texts. A couple of weeks later Anthony contacted my mom and apologized telling her that something tragic happened to him, and that he would explain everything and still planned to refund my mom the money. Anthony stated that he had another gig coming up and asked if my husband could do videography for a surprise proposal that he had coming up. My husband did the videography job on a Friday and Anthony told my husband he would pay him Tuesday when the checked cleared. When Tuesday came my husband did not hear from Anthony. A couple days later, he sent a text to my husband saying that he would pay him. My husband spoke to another camera man and some of the dancers, and they all stated that they had not been paid either and one of the dancers said that he thinks that Anthony used the money to pay his rent. Anthony would not return anyone's phone calls or texts. My husband then got another text message from Anthony saying he promised to pay that day and my husband did not receive a payment. Of course my husband didn't believe him. Luckily, we never gave him any of the footage. He stopped replying and he has not paid my husband or any of the dancers that were hired for the surprised proposal. He never contacted my mom again. Anthony lied about still paying her back so he could use my husband as a videographer. Anthony hired my husband at was the end of August and we haven't heard from him. Today is 09/15/2024. My husband tried to call him a few days ago and his phone is completely off like he didn't pay the bill or maybe he changed his number. DO NOT hire Anthony and DO NOT let him book you as a vendor. He is a liar and he will not pay you or refund you! He tried to make it seem like he has all these high end clients and that he is booked every weekend, but the truth is he is broke and you will never get your money from him. Please beware! Anthony is a fraud!

There is absolutely no reason paying customers and their guests should have to deal with something like that during an event. Her attitude toward my guests was also unacceptable. She was rude and made people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Instead of enjoying my event and spending time with my family and guests, I was forced to deal with unnecessary stress and tension caused by the person who was supposed to be providing the venue and service. You only get ONE opportunity to celebrate certain milestones. I cannot get that time back. After all the money, planning, preparation, and effort that went into this event, I should have been able to actually enjoy it--not spend it dealing with an owner who made both me and my guests uncomfortable. If you are considering booking this venue, READ EVERY SINGLE LINE OF YOUR CONTRACT and get absolutely everything in writing. Do not assume that because something was discussed or agreed upon that it will be handled professionally on the day of your event. I paid to enjoy my celebration, not to be stressed out, uncomfortable, or made to feel like an inconvenience at a venue I PAID FOR. I would never book this venue again, and based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend it to anyone planning an important event.
