Very cute place for baked treats and baking supplies. This is a great place to stock up on gifts for the baker in your life--or yourself. The items are special, well curated, and not what you'd find in a generic store like Bed, Bath, and Beyond, which is exactly the point of an adorable shop like this in downtown Ridgefield. The pictures on yelp so far don't do it justice, I wish I'd taken some to show how nicely merchandised the store is. Elizabella's has all sorts of food supplies like fondant, sprinkles, and assorted fancy sugars. There are also unique boxed mixes, like one for apple cider or pumpkin (baked instead of fried) donuts, or a dog biscuit mix with a little bone-shaped cookie cutter. There is also a ton of unique cake molds and serving trays. Every imaginable shape of bundt pan, plus ceramic bowls and trays, and some neat retro-style coffee and tea canisters. I bought a huge bottle of good quality vanilla on a previous visit that I'm still using, plus they have a ton of extract flavors with your typical mint or almond, plus more exotic like chocolate hazelnut. There are also the assorted kitchen accessories like aprons, napkins, placemats, decorative mixing bowls beyond boring clear glass, and a variety of teas. Definitely worth a visit! read more

First of all I love the store, it is beautifully arranged and has a great selection of merchandise. The tea selection is especially lovely. I also like her brightly colored linens and paper goods. But, what put me over the edge of truly loving Elizabella's was how Elizabeth helped my son plan my birthday gift with absolutely no benefit to her. He had a very specific baked good in mind. Though her petit fours and cookies are yummy, she doesn't make what he wanted, but did put him in touch with someone who could. I'll be a customer for life because of her generosity of spirit in that situation. read more

Cookies and cupcakes are Amazing!! Adorable shop with a vast variety of unique gift items but practical too. Friends love the cupcakes because they're light and not super sweet, just right to satisfy the indulgence. I LOVE my sweets and am not a huge "plain" cookie lover BUT these shortbread cookies are the bomb!! The beautifully decorated sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies also are good and just taste healthier but the shortbread cookies... bring me back time and again (luckily I don't live too close! I'd be broke and 500lbs!) The owner was incredibly nice, great service every time I've been in. Be aware it's very boutique, you may not find a large or even full display of goods like a typical bakery...but what is there is totally worth it! She likely does custom orders mostly...as I was introduced through a party serving her desserts! read more

They're just getting off the ground, working out the kinks of the ovens, and producing some great baked goods. I'd say give it a month or two and you're dealing with near perfection and gracious cookies, cakes, and the like. It's great now but only going to get better! read more

Let me start off by saying that we were really excited to come in here, and thought it was so cute. My sister and I came in, and were waiting for our mom to come in a few minutes later, and we browsed the store for a few minutes while we waited for her. We were not once greeted by the owner, but didn't think much of it, as she was working with someone else. After about five minutes, she asked us if we needed anything, and we told her we were waiting for our mom. Once she finally arrived, we asked her if we could buy a pound of cookies, to which she snapped & very rudely replied "we don't sell cookies by the pound here. They are 85 cents each so just tell me how many you want". Taken aback, we quickly asked for only six of the tiny cookies, along with one of the (beautifully decorated) cookies that actually brought us in. She then, once again, very rudely, said, "thats it?". We had actually come in with the full on intention of discussing potentially placing an order for cookies for both a wedding and a high school graduation party, which is why we were waiting for our mom, but that obviously will not be happening. Cookies are mediocre at best, but had the owner not left such a bad taste in our mouth, we likely would have felt a bit differently. read more

This is a tremendous local gem. The cookies and other treats are amazing and the owner is welcoming and extremely helpful. On numerous occasions I have stopped in to browse the selection in the store or order special cookies and baked goods for school events, teas, gatherings and the like and I have never been disappointed. They carry and serve a wonderful selection of artful teas and have every little "necessity" for tea parties and special baking days at home. I cannot recommend Elizabella's highly enough and I'm so excited this artisan bakery is in Ridgefield. read more
