Now I need to hire someone new and spend more money to fix the issue because SoCo landscaping refused to replace or refund me for the faulty equipment they installed. I've received second opinions on this issue and have been assured that it is not user error. Buyer Beware.

What you need to know: reasonable pricing, easy to schedule, amazing communication, excellent work! SoCo Landscaping went above and beyond for my family while we moved out if our home. I believe I spoke with Andrea the whole tIme and she had their team out and trimmed our bushes and picked up wood and other debris in our yard within days of me contacting them. They even asked if I wanted to double check their work to make sure we were happy with the results (we were very pleased). We also had other things to be done we thought we could do on our own but ran out of time and they happily came back and were able to adapt to some changes we had come up too. Again, highly recommend this company! if we didn't move across the country I would have also hired them to do our yard maintenance on a regular basis.

I think the roofing work was done as expected, but the sales were not ok and I have regrets. The…read morecrew showed up a little early, but that makes sense in Tucson. They fixed things inside that fell apart from all the banging, but I had to point it out to them. That being said, the crew responded fine and did what was asked. I was under the impression that all of the facia boards would get replaced when they had signs of rot. Only one of them got replaced and even though it needed to be replaced, it didn't look like it was the worst one. That seems like it was an issue with the contract not being clear. All of this to preface that the roof we had was great and I regret buying a new one. We got a roof that looks newer, and may seem prettier - if you like looking at white painted foam roofs. I was hoping the new roof would save A/C money, but our electric bill is about the same. The one thing the old roof had was that it was much quieter in rain. I know it doesn't rain much in Tucson, but when it does, now it feels like we live inside a snare drum. So, I wish we'd gotten more advice before deciding and I wish the sales guy had been more clear about the status of our old roof and the changes we were considering.

I spent almost two months checking over eight roofing companies and finally chose Lyons to provide the work. From start to finish they were phenomenal. Because this was where my father-in-law lives, I wanted to insure the best materials and workmanship possible. Eddie Cortez worked with me to make my wish for the best outcome possible become a reality. He went over and above what I had expected. The work was completed ahead of the estimated time, and exactly on budget. I learned as the work was completed, that Eddie's approach to the customer and the quality of the finished roof is completely in line with the company vision as a whole. Since the work was done, several sales people have come through the neighborhood offering a "free roof inspection" to determine the condition of my other roof. I have declined each offer with a clear determination of who will be my choice when the time comes to replace that roof as well. Without a doubt, it will be will be Lyons roofing.

Unfortunately Paul is most unreliable and took jobs he is not able to perform correctly on the cost…read moreof my precious time and money. I hired him through Networks and paid half dollar amount of the discussed project upfront  on 6/1/21. He told me he wanted to get the job we agreed on done within two days. Today is 7/26/21 - two month later - and he did not even finish half of the discussed work. Many times he told me to be at my house to continue the project and he did not only not show up, but he did not even tell me he would not come,- he just did not show up. So many times I had arranged my schedule to be at the job site and then he would just not appear. Strangely he texted me often about his whereabouts though, that he "came home late, will be driving out tonight, just got back last night...car accident, a relative passed away..."  stuff that I am really not happy about to be text - harassed with and not interested to know about, - even about his wife's medical condition he told me,- I find him extremely unprofessional. He told me he would take the trash out of the backyard after every day of work, because it would not be nice to do otherwise, but Paul left the trash ( his plastic drinking cups with straws in them, empty water bottles in our back yard on the ground, rocks and cement pieces ) from a job left half undone in our backyard for nineteen!! days. The trash laying there for so long caused a few big brown holes in our green grass. Network asked me to write a review at a time by which the project should have been finished. So I had written a one star review a few weeks in after Paul had collected half of the dollar amount for the entire job but not really gotten much done yet. A few days later he called me at 6:00am! very upset about the review although everything in it had been nothing but the truth. He did not take the responsibility for his actions at all. I decided to delete the review in order to give him a second chance. That had been a bad idea, because his behavior got even worse. After I told him very friendly that I did not want to receive anymore personal texts about his whereabouts, but just about work related things, he all over sudden informed me that he did not want to do a certain job we had agreed on, and parts of that job, he even tried to delegate to me. Not a man of his word, not reliable, not respectful, unfortunately not taking responsibility for his own actions. I should have seen it coming when he rang my doorbell 30 minutes before our first appointment, informing me he was here earlier, because he was in the area, laughing insecurely. It had been a very unpleasant experience to me, but I admit I am partly responsible, because I continued to trust him.
